Taoist priest goes to America

Chapter 53 Crushing Defeat

After twisting his head to the left, Lao Bai turned it to the right, and the same sound rang out again.

It raised its chin and moved its joints casually, as if it were stretching in its own room.

It exhaled a puff of white air from deep in its throat, the mist drifting out and dispersing in the cold night wind.

Qiguer took a step back and steadied his erratic breathing.

His breathing remained steady, without changing its rhythm, but his mind was indeed a bit chaotic at this moment.

The step he took back was greater than ever before. His gaze swept over Old Bai again, from head to toe, before returning to his own hand.

The knuckles of those two rows of fists were covered with wounds and swollen bruises from beating hard objects, and the elbows were completely mangled and bleeding profusely.

Qiguer took a deep breath, held it, and charged at Lao Bai again. This time, he didn't take a detour or dodge to the side; he charged straight into Lao Bai's arms from the front, his left foot pushing off first, followed by his right leg.

He raised his right foot, extending it forward, aiming at the groin area between Lao Bai's legs.

The force of this straight kick is concentrated on the sole of the foot. If this kick hits the groin, the man will lose all will to resist, his limbs will become weak and unsteady, and he will bend over, squat down, or even fall to the ground.

His foot rose up, toes pointing forward, piercing the area covered by white fur.

Old Bai's groin area didn't collapse or deform, nor did it make the sound of his testicles cracking that Chigur had anticipated. It was as if the foot had kicked a soccer ball; not only did it fail to move the opponent, but the force of the impact traveled up from the sole of his foot, down his calf, and all the way to his knee.

Chigur bent his knees and swayed forward.

Then Old White moved. It lifted its leg and thrust its waist forward. With Qigu's foot still pressing against its groin, it used that position to push against Qigu's foot and took a big step forward.

With one leg dangling in the air, Qigu's weight was already on the leg he had kicked out. The opponent's push caused him to lose his balance. His supporting foot slipped on the ground, and he leaned back, nearly falling to the ground.

Qiguer managed to steady himself by gripping the ground twice with his palms, preventing him from falling.

Before he had even come to a complete stop, Old Bai's massive, gorilla-like right arm had already been raised from his side.

Its broad, door-frame-like shoulders swayed slightly, its palms opened, and its right arm rose from its body to swat horizontally towards Qiguer.

Although the arm was very thick, it was much faster than Qiguer had imagined. The huge shadow of the hand drew a semicircle in the air, carrying a gust of wind pressure, and smashed directly down on him.

Qiguer sidestepped the edge of the palm shadow, his right hand sweeping across his face, the resulting wind pressure blowing against his face and his hair flying.

He had barely steadied himself when Old Bai's left hand swung in a wide arc, slamming down from another direction like a heavy stone slab falling from the ground.

In a moment of quick thinking, Qiguer took a step forward towards the direction of the hand, then squeezed sideways through the gap between the palm shadow and the ground.

Old Bai slammed his palm against the wall behind him, causing a section of the wall to cave in from where his palm struck. The entire wall exploded, and plaster fell down like rain, with broken red bricks flying out from the crack.

Old Man pulled his hand out from the wall, turned to look at Qiguer, and his two dark red, fire-like eyes darted around in their sockets before facing Qiguer.

After passing through the gap, Qiguer straightened up again, creating a half-body distance between himself and Lao Bai. He then took a half-step back to create some distance, but at that moment, Lao Bai's iron-like shoulder was already thrusting towards him like a cannonball.

The shoulder bump against Li Bai wasn't intentionally forceful; it was more like it accidentally bumped into Qiguer as it took a step forward. The white-furred shoulder collided with Qiguer's chest, just like a giant runaway running over Hakimi in the middle of the road.

Qiguer was knocked off the ground by the impact, his body flew backward, broke the toilet door frame, and got stuck in the frame.

The toilet door was knocked off the frame by Chigur and fell onto the bathroom floor with a heavy thud.

"Uh..." Chigur, who was stuck, loosened his grip and fell off the door frame. He slid off the broken door frame and fell helplessly to the ground. His left ribs were smashed and protruded from under his skin, with white stubs sticking out from his chest.

Qiguer's entire left chest, where it met Lao Bai's shoulder, caved in, leaving only his right chest rising and falling with his breath.

He knelt on the ground, one hand bracing himself against the broken bricks, the other pressed against the cave-in in his left chest. Kneeling on one knee, he coughed, spitting out a mouthful of blood.

Dark red liquid gushed from his mouth, spreading a small patch on the grayish-white broken bricks. He wiped it with the back of his hand and then looked up.

Old Bai was walking towards him, his pace unhurried, as if he were picking up something that had fallen in the middle of the road and was about to deal with it.

Old Bai stopped two steps in front of him and lifted his right leg slightly.

The kick was aimed at Qiguer's body. He managed to lean slightly to the left, but the kick grazed past him and struck the wall of the toilet next to him.

The entire wall broke off at the point where it was kicked, with the crack extending straight from the point of impact to the ceiling and floor. The wall collapsed inward, creating a gap, and broken bricks and plaster cascaded down like a waterfall, filling the entire toilet doorway.

Old Bai pulled his foot back and landed on the spot, the sole of his shoe grinding against the broken bricks on the ground.

Chigur stood up from the ground. He swayed as he stood, his entire body bleeding, his shattered left chest pressed down by his right hand.

A dark red line hung from the corner of his mouth, trailing down to the edge of his chin before dripping down.

Before he could make his next move, Old Bai's fist came crashing down.

That fist moved with incredible speed; its rough, grotesque muscles were clenched together, and the white, stiff hairs on its back stood on end.

Chigur raised his arms and crossed them in front of him, elbows together. Old White's fist struck where his arms were crossed, and his body was thrown backward as if he had been hit head-on by a bus, crashing into the bathtub in the bathroom.

The ceramic wall of the bathtub was smashed and cracked in the middle, with large pieces of porcelain shattering and flying everywhere. The tub body split in two from his back.

Chigur was stuck on his back in the crack, his limbs dangling from the sides of the bathtub, his head tilted back, the back of his head pressed against the crack at the bottom of the bathtub.

There was already someone in the bathtub. The bullet holes in the woman's body had turned black.

Her body was floating in the bathtub, and now, when Chigur fell, her body was pinned between the bottom of the bathtub and Chigur's back, her arms sticking out from under the broken porcelain shards.

Water flowed from the crack in the bathtub, down the toilet floor, over the toilet seat, and out of the toilet.

The water contained the woman's blood, the foam from the bathtub, and the blood from Chigur's body, forming a thin pink film on the gray-white tiles.

Chigur's face was up, his pupils staring at the ceiling. Water droplets that the woman had splashed on his face clung to his eyelashes, and he spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva.
