Taoist priest goes to America
Chapter 14 Zombies
"Our boss needs to speak with you, sir. Please get in the car."
The two men behind them, who were holding guns, spoke in deep voices with an Eastern European accent, urging Ang Lee and the others to get in the car.
Ang Lee felt a cold metal ring against the back of his head. The person holding the gun was not breathing or holding it very steadily, which indicated that he was not an experienced person in this line of work.
Old Bai's head was also pointed at by a gun, and the person behind him pressed the muzzle of the gun against the tent cloth, but Old Bai did not react at all.
Ang Lee saw the two people standing behind him through the overhead parking lot mirror; the person behind him was wearing a rat mask, and the person behind Lao Bai was wearing a wolf mask.
What's going on tonight? One thing after another. He was racially discriminated against and falsely accused of taking photos without his consent, and now a group of people wearing animal heads have kidnapped him for no reason.
"But... it doesn't matter, it's just perfect timing."
Ang Lee didn't move; he simply pouted and whistled casually.
Old Bai turned his head, and in an instant, his head, which was covered by the tent cloth, rotated 180 degrees, turning the back of his head into a front view. His blood-red eye and half-open mouth were visible through the gap, facing the wolf-faced man behind him.
The wolf-masked man was stunned. His gun was still pointed at Old White's head, but his mind couldn't process the supernatural scene before him.
A living person's head was twisted at an impossible angle behind his back, with his eyes facing him directly.
Old White opened his mouth, and the wolf-faced man was the first to be attacked. Old White bit down and seized the wrist holding the gun, his teeth embedding into the flesh, through the muscle, and biting into the bone.
Blood trickled from Old Bai's mouth, and the wolf-masked man let out a shrill scream as the gun in his hand fell to the ground.
"wdf..." The remaining people present were all stunned by Lao Bai's unusual behavior, and stood there watching Lao Bai frantically tearing at the man.
At the same time, Ang Lee made his move.
He ducked to avoid the gun barrel aimed at the back of his head. The rat-faced man with an Eastern European accent behind him was startled by Old White's sudden change and didn't follow up with his gun in time.
Taking advantage of the opportunity, Li An's right hand emerged from his sleeve, holding something between his fingers—a long, thin, and hard chicken wing bone he had just eaten. With a sidestep, he thrust the bone into the right eye of the rat-faced man behind him.
The eyeball burst open with a thud, like a ripe cherry tomato being punctured. The rat-faced man let out a piercing howl, released his pistol, and covered his face with his hands.
Ang Lee caught the falling pistol with his left hand. Instead of using the gun, he kicked the rat-faced man in the side of his left knee, pressing his entire weight down on it. The sound of ligaments tearing and bones cracking occurred simultaneously, and the knee bent into a twisted shape.
The rat-faced man knelt down, half a chicken wing bone stuck in his right eye, his left leg twisted to one side like a broken tree branch, and his body fell to the ground, howling in pain.
The four men beside the car finally snapped out of their shock at Old Bai. The sheep-faced man with the shotgun reacted quickly, his finger on the trigger, aiming the gun at Li An.
But Ang Lee was no longer in the same spot. At the same moment he broke the rat-faced man's knee, he circled around the back of the bread truck and disappeared from everyone else's sight.
Just then, a dark object flew over with a whooshing sound.
The sheep-faced man was hit squarely in the chest by that thing, feeling as if he had been rammed by a car. He was thrown backward, his head hitting the door frame of the bread cart, and everything went black.
Along with him, his two companions with pistols were also thrown into the air; the horse-faced man and the cat-faced man were piled on top of each other and fell deep into the carriage.
The thing that flew over was the wolf-faced man whose arm Old Bai had bitten earlier.
Old Bai, still holding the severed wrist in his mouth, turned his head back around after rotating 180 degrees.
The wolf-faced man was torn beyond recognition; his entire right arm had been ripped off from his shoulder, revealing dark red muscles and grayish-white bones.
Old Bai's mouth was like a crane, his teeth hooked onto the other person's shoulder. With a twist of his neck and a flick of his face, he had just lifted the wolf-faced man off the ground like a rag doll and slammed him onto the other people next to the car.
The man with the sheep's face lay on the floor of the carriage, his vision blurred from the impact and his head buzzing.
Before he could figure out what was going on, he looked at the wolf-faced man who was half-dead in the cart, and the horse-faced and cat-faced men who had been knocked down. He heard someone outside shouting in terror, so he forced himself up and peeked out.
Old Bai spat out the arm from his mouth and charged suddenly toward the only lion-faced man who hadn't been knocked away.
The lion-faced man's eyes were filled with terror. Just as he came to his senses, he saw Old Bai rushing towards him in three quick steps.
He hurriedly pulled the trigger of the shotgun in his hand. Old Bai did not dodge or evade. He raised his two forearms together, turning them into arm shields in front of the talisman on his forehead. The shot hit Old Bai's arms, blasting dents into the purplish-blue skin wrapped in old clothes.
Old Bai didn't stop. He rushed to the lion-faced man, his right arm popping out of its defensive stance, and slapped the lion-faced man on the head.
"Crack—" Accompanied by a chilling snapping sound, the head and lion mask were slapped off the neck and smashed against the concrete wall of the parking lot.
The lion-faced man's body was still standing, blood gushing from his neck like a red column of water.
Old Bai kicked the headless corpse aside, his bloodshot eyes fixed on the sheep-faced man who was peeking out of the car.
Seeing Lao Bai's fierce appearance, the sheep-faced man's legs immediately went weak, and his legs trembled uncontrollably.
Old Bai bent his knees and jumped up to pounce on him.
Having tasted human blood, Old Bai became extremely ferocious. He took a bite of the sheep-faced man's skull and began tearing at his head, hair and all.
The sheep-faced man, in pain, stumbled and fell to the ground along with Lao Bai. The two of them tumbled together and crashed into the horse-faced man and cat-faced man inside the car.
Before the two men could recover from the impact, they were knocked to the ground again by Old Bai and the sheep-faced man.
Intense pain accompanied by the crisp sound of bones breaking came crashing down. The sheep-faced man screamed in agony as he desperately tried to pull his head out of Old Bai's mouth.
The cat-faced man had just woken up from his coma when he saw the goat-faced man's bloodied and mangled head right in front of him, and he screamed in fright.
Seeing the cat-faced man so "excited," the disturbed Old White didn't hold back and bit his mouth, starting to "kiss" him mouth to mouth.
The cat-head mask was bitten right through, and Old White's sharp teeth pierced his lips and chin. The cat-faced man's painful whimpers leaked from Old White's mouth, becoming miserable and muffled.
The cat-faced man couldn't stand Old White's "enthusiasm" and howled while waving his hands, trying to pry Old White's mouth open, but Old White would never let him succeed.
It gripped the cat-faced man's shoulders with both hands like iron clamps, and with a forceful pull of its mouth, tore off the cat-faced man's mask and skin, revealing bright red facial muscles and white cheekbones.
The driver in the front seat saw the horrifying scene in the back and his face turned ashen. He immediately tried to open the door, abandon the car, and run away.
However, at that moment, someone knocked on the driver's side window.
The driver turned his head and saw Ang Lee standing outside the car door, knocking on the window with his left hand and holding a pistol in his right hand, the muzzle pressed against the glass, aimed at his head.
The driver hurriedly opened his mouth, about to say something, when Li An pulled the trigger.
"Bang—"
Gunshots rang out, bullets piercing the car window. The driver's head slumped back, the back of his head slamming against the headrest, dark red blood gushing from the bullet hole in his head, splattering all over the driver's cab.
Ang Lee reached his hand through the hole in the broken glass, opened the car door, pushed the driver's body onto the passenger seat, and pulled out the car keys.
Inside the back seat, the horse-faced man was pinned to the bottom. He heard tearing sounds coming from above, wet and dripping blood onto his face, smelling both fishy and salty. Someone screamed, then fell silent.
He was terrified. Ignoring the others in the car, he desperately crawled out, squeezing through the gaps between the huddled bodies, and climbed out of the car door, one foot on the ground.
Before he could even stand up, a hand grabbed his collar from beside the car and threw him back.
He fell backward into a pool of blood in the carriage, staring furiously at Li An, who remained expressionless outside the carriage.
"Roar—" A low growl came from above him. Looking up, he saw Old Bai squatting beside him, holding the cat-faced man's face in his mouth, his blood-red eyes gleaming through the gaps in the tent fabric.
The horse-faced man tried to shout, but his throat felt like it was being choked, and he couldn't say a word.
The only response he received was Lao Bai's mouth.
