Survival in the Core: I'm writing a guide for the entire server.

"ha……"

Lin You wiped away her sweat and relaxed completely.

He glanced at his status bar—his magic was zero, and his stamina was less than a third of what it used to be.

Several bloody scratches were visible on his left arm from the gravel, and beads of blood were seeping out.

"It was a close call, but thankfully nothing serious happened."

He crouched down and reached out to touch the pool of clear liquid on the ground.

[Card creation failed! Insufficient magic power!]

Despite the magic reduction from the Myriad Impermanence Card Box.

Lin You's magic power was still insufficient to turn the Slime King into a magic card.

"Let's wait a bit."

Lin You stood up and glanced at the battlefield.

The corpses of hundreds of small slimes were scattered all around, all thanks to the Flame Spirit and its summoned creatures.

His undead army also suffered heavy losses, with most of his skeleton soldiers gone and only a few zombies still standing.

Faced with powerful high-level enemies, low-level magic card summons are becoming increasingly inadequate.

With a single slam, the Slime King can easily shred dozens of fragile skeleton soldiers.

"Meow~"

Flame Spirit trotted back carrying a blue bag in its mouth, its tail held high.

The bag was covered in slime, clearly indicating it had fallen from the Slime King.

Lin You took the cloth bag and used her finger to scrape Yanling's little face.

"Well done."

The little guy squinted, rubbed against his palm, and then lay down on the ground to rest.

Magic recovery takes time.

Lin You leaned against the rock wall, opened his backpack, took out a bottle of water, and gulped down a few mouthfuls.

About five minutes later, he stood up, walked to the Slime King's corpse, and pressed his palm down.

In the blink of an eye, a dark blue card appeared in his hand.

[Card crafting successful! You have obtained "Elite Magic Card: Slime King" x1!]

The card features a giant slime in the center, topped with a crown.

……

Elite Magic Card: King Slime

Grade: 10 (Purple)

【Effect 1: Summons a Slime King to fight for you until the summoned creature dies or is manually retrieved】

【Effect 1: Absorb this magic card to increase your jumping ability by 50%. This effect can only be applied once.】

【Effect 3: Absorb this card to gain the skills "Gel Leap", "Gel Warp", and "Slam"】

……

Lin You stared at the second effect, his eyes narrowing slightly.

"...Jumping ability increased by 50%?"

This is the first magic card he has obtained that doesn't add any attributes after being absorbed, but instead adds other values!

"As expected of special elites, their qualifications are truly exceptional."

He carefully put the cards into his magic card encyclopedia, without rushing to absorb them.

After all, the advancement mission requires three elite magic cards, and he needs to collect the required number first.

As for the corpses of the little slimes on the battlefield, he didn't rush to deal with them.

My magic power hasn't recovered much, so I'll save it for now and make all the remaining potions at once when I've recovered.

Just as he was counting his spoils, Elon walked over from not far away.

"You win."

He glanced at the dissipating gel on the ground, his tone tinged with admiration.

"It's faster than I expected."

"It was alright, almost a disaster."

Lin You rubbed his sore shoulders and smiled at the dwarf.

"What are your plans for the future?"

Elon was silent for a moment, as if he had made up his mind.

"I'm leaving."

"Um?"

Lin You raised an eyebrow but did not reply immediately.

"I've already wasted too much time."

The dwarf raised his head, his gaze falling on the deep, dark depths of the Earth's core.

"The adult trial must be completed by myself; it is a rule of the dwarves."

"All right."

Having said that, Lin You expressed her understanding.

Although I didn't manage to trigger any quests or anything from the other party.

But Elon also gave him a lot of help.

"I wish you all the best."

"The same to you."

Elon grinned, extended his thick palm, and shook hands firmly with Lin You.

"If you can reach the 11th level of the Earth's core, you are welcome to visit Rockhammer Settlement. I will treat you to a delicious stew."

After saying that, Elon released his grip and turned to walk towards another mine tunnel.

After his figure disappeared, a series of prompts popped up in front of Lin You's eyes.

You have successfully established contact with the "Dwarven - Rockhammer Settlement".

Current Reputation Level: Indifferent

[Note: You have not officially visited Rockhammer Settlement yet, and your reputation is insufficient to enjoy any privileges.]

Lin You glanced at it and nodded secretly.

He already knew about the reputation system, so he wasn't too surprised.

"11th floor..."

Lin You stretched his body and scooped the lying Yan Ling into his arms.

"Let's go, let's get back to the car."

……

The Slime King is the strongest enemy Lin You has ever encountered.

However, its spoils were equally impressive!

Besides the magic cards, there are also many good things in the treasure bag.

"What kinds are there?"

Lin You rubbed her hands together, opened the bag covered in gel, and reached inside.

His palm touched several hard objects, which he removed one by one.

The first item was a heavy gold coin.

"More gold coins..."

Lin You weighed it in her hand and casually tossed it into the warehouse.

The second item was a strangely shaped machine, like an oval-shaped drum washing machine.

……

Curing machine

[Description: Used to solidify and shape gel for creating gel-themed furniture]

[Additional Information: You have unlocked a series of recipes for "Gel Furniture"]

……

"Interesting... gel is now being used as a building material."

Lin You clicked his tongue in amazement as he placed the curing machine in the second carriage and then continued rummaging through it.

The third trophy was a gray-black hood, made of thin material, with sticky residue on it.

……

[Ninja Hood]

Grade: 10 (Green)

[Defense: 2]

[Effect: Grants you +3% critical strike chance when equipped]

[Additional Information: Equipping the Ninja Hood, Ninja Robe, and Ninja Pants simultaneously will trigger a set bonus.]

……

"Good heavens, it's even a set?"

Seeing the extra effects of the ninja hood, Lin You seemed to be deep in thought.

Although his defenses dropped to zero after he activated the magic barrier.

However, you can still enjoy the extra effects of the equipment.

The ninja hood not only provides a 3% critical hit rate bonus.

It can also be combined with two other pieces of protective gear to form a set!

"Looks like I'll have to farm King Slime a few more times."

"I wonder what the drop rate for the ninja set is... I can't possibly run through all 10 durability runs and still not have a full set, can I?"

After putting away the ninja hood, only one large item remained in the treasure bag.

It is a palm-sized hook claw, made entirely of some kind of translucent blue gelatinous substance.

……

【Slime Hook】

Grade: 10 (Blue)

[Effect: Injects highly adhesive gel hooks to pull the user towards the target location]

……

"This is... an upgraded version of the grappling hook?"

Lin You's eyes lit up, and he immediately tied it to his arm.

Finally, at the bottom of the bag lay ten familiar bottles of medicine.

Small healing potion x10.

"Supplies are fully stocked."

Lin You carefully collected all the spoils and let out a long sigh of relief.

Then, he opened the taskbar and looked at the advancement task that had finally made some progress.

[Advancement Quest]

Objective 1: Collect a total of 1000 magic cards (Completed)

Objective 2: Collect 3 elite magic cards of level 10 or higher (1/3)

He had already met the first condition.

The second condition has only been one-third completed.

Two more times to go.

Lin You closed her eyes and waited for her magic to recover.

He planned to strike while the iron was hot and hit the Slime King twice more.

This time, he won't be as embarrassed as he was the first time.

During his mana recovery period, he casually opened the forum and browsed around.

I just happened to see the latest issue of the Earth Center Daily.

Besides the content that refuted the rumors about him, the above also includes...

There's also a lot of recent "news".

The headline is very eye-catching—

The undead invasion continues to escalate! The main player force begins to move towards Nether 3!

……
