Start in America, and receive three assassins every day.
Chapter 80 Cooperation
Before he knew it, it was 8 a.m. the next morning. Chen An was woken up by the ringing of the phone. He picked it up and saw that it was Andrei calling.
Click to connect.
"Hey, Andrei, what happened?"
Andrei said, "Andrei, come to the dock at nine o'clock. I've already spoken with the other foremen, and they're willing to sit down and talk."
"Okay, I'll come find you then." After saying that, Chen An hung up the phone, got up, washed up, and went to the living room on the first floor.
"Good morning, boss." Carl and Hank were sitting at the dining table eating breakfast.
"morning."
He also sat down opposite him and started eating.
"Boss, the cars have been bought and are all parked in garage number 7," Carl said.
"Okay." Chen An nodded and continued, "By the way, go find Susan later and ask her if she can get me a driver's license, the sooner the better, I need it."
Carl said, "No problem, I'll go see her later."
Afterwards, Chen An ate while releasing the nine assassins he had sent out that day, ordering them to follow An Dong to the dock.
A few minutes later, Carl went out to find Susan. He went inside House No. 6 and went straight to the backyard, where there happened to be a small storage room.
With a wave of his hand, Chen An piled up countless grenades, ammunition boxes, rocket launcher ammunition, over thirty intact pistols, and some rifles—all the tactical equipment—once upon being displayed.
These weapons quickly took up half of the storage room, but there were also storage rooms in houses 7 and 8, which were also where he currently stored his weapons and could access them at any time.
After doing all this, he went outside and went to garage number 7.
There was a Toyota Tacoma parked there, and Carl had already driven the other one away, then got into the car and drove towards the San Pedro Pier.
He wondered what the docks would think since Jess hadn't been there for several days.
Thirteen minutes later.
He arrived at the dock smoothly, stopped in front of Andrei's tin shack, and got out of the car.
"An, it's been a few days, you've got a new car!" Andrei said with a smile as he came out of the house.
"Yeah, the old pickup truck was too beat up, so we got this one."
"Not bad, Toyota Tacoma. This car is very practical, you have good taste," Andrei praised.
"How are the other foremen doing?" Chen An asked.
Upon hearing this, Andrei's expression turned serious. "They haven't said anything yet, but the chances of them agreeing to a 50/50 split are very slim."
"There's a chance, leave it to me." Chen An smiled slightly, his tone very relaxed. "Where are they? Take me there."
"They're all in the conference room of the union building."
Chen An nodded, then led Anton and Andrei to the union building. Upon arrival, the three got out of the car and, led by Andrei, walked towards a conference room on the third floor.
Anton pushed open the door, and Chen An went in first. He looked around and saw about six foremen sitting in chairs.
The six men also scrutinized the unfamiliar Asian man, their brows furrowing.
"Andrei, when will the docks allow Asians to join?" one man said with a tone full of disgust.
Upon hearing this, Chen An stopped and gave the man a deep look.
"Deloff, all the workers under my command were recruited by Mr. Ann, so he's definitely coming."
Delof persisted, saying, "So, you're the one who got him to join the union. That's a violation of union rules, Andrei. I'm going to tell the vice president about this."
"Hehe, I think you've misunderstood. I've never joined the San Pedro Dock Union," Chen An said calmly.
"No, then what are you doing here?" Delof became even more impatient upon hearing this.
"Because those people are my people, do you think I can come or not? Everyone, let's talk about the purpose of our visit and stop wasting time on these pointless questions."
Chen An sat down in the main seat, with Andrei on his right and Anton on his left. Everyone looked displeased upon seeing this, but they were right; it was more important to talk about business.
They had been asking around these past few days and found that the Andrei Wharf area was four or five times more efficient than theirs, and had fewer people. Those people were incredibly capable!
"I'm sure you all know what you want: to make more money. You've seen the situation in the Andrei Wharf area."
"Those people are all elites I recruited from various places. They are very strong, work very fast, and I can recruit people every day."
At this point, one of the people said with dissatisfaction, "You are disrupting the balance of the dock. This is absolutely unacceptable. We oppose this."
Upon hearing this, Chen An smiled, glanced at the group, and calmly said, "What if I told you that you could also get these spots? Would you be interested?"
This news was like a bombshell, exploding in everyone's hearts, and without exception, all the foremen were deeply shaken.
Because they know that if they can have these workers, the efficiency of their orders will be greatly improved, which means that they can make money faster as well.
"Are you telling the truth?" one of the foremen couldn't help but ask.
Seeing this, Chen An sneered inwardly. What do you mean by not allowing it? It's just that their interests haven't been affected yet. Once these people think they can make money, who would object?
He said gently, "Of course it's true. The workforce at Andrei Dock is already saturated, and we can assign more workers to you. That's why I asked Andrei to bring you here."
Upon hearing this, several foremen nodded in agreement. "If that's the case, then we have no objection. If everyone's efficiency improves, then things will be balanced."
"Yes, that makes sense."
After listening, Chen An knew he had almost convinced these people, so he continued, "However, the profits will be split 50/50."
"A 50/50 split! Absolutely not!"
"We can pay the highest-level workers' salaries; a 50/50 split is impossible."
"Mr. An, you must be joking. We didn't earn much either. If we split it 50/50, the profits would be even less. We had to hand over 60% to the union anyway, so we didn't get much in return."
Upon hearing this, Chen An continued, "Do you know how much Andre has earned these past few days? One hundred thousand US dollars, and that's in less than ten days. He and I split it 50/50, so your worries are unnecessary."
Everyone's pupils contracted when they heard the number; they had actually earned so much!
"Think about it, if your salary doubles or triples, the pressure of mortgage and car loan payments will be reduced, your children's education level will improve, and you can live in a better environment."
"Going on a trip every year is a great thing. I'm doing this for your benefit," Chen An said enticingly to everyone present.
Countless people were touched and gradually became interested.
"Okay, I'm willing to cooperate with you." One of them finally spoke up, and the others followed suit. Andrei watched from the side, filled with admiration.
Chen An smiled slightly. There was a reason why he could earn 30,000 yuan a month in China, and convincing these foremen was a piece of cake.
