"Chen An, is this your house?" Ida asked.

Ida entered the house, glanced around, and then her gaze returned to Chen An. "Where's your sister?"

"She went shopping at the mall and hasn't come back yet." Chen An then went to the water dispenser, poured a glass of warm water, and handed it to Ada.

"Thank you." Ida took the water glass and sat down on the sofa.

Chen An sat calmly opposite him, blew on his water glass to cool it down, took a sip, and showed no sign of nervousness.

Chen An knew that Ada had been observing his every move since she entered the room.

"Officer Ada, what brings you here? Has the Kree family received their just punishment?"

Upon hearing this, Ada shook her head. "Not yet."

Upon hearing this, Chen An scoffed inwardly, thinking it would be strange if it could be resolved.

"The reason I came to find you is because members of the Kree family are looking for you." Upon hearing the second half of Ada's sentence, Chen An's heart sank. Had he been discovered? A look of panic appeared on his face.

"Officer Ada, they're not planning to hurt my sister again, are they? You have to protect us!"

Ada said, "Mr. Chen An, please calm down. We will not ignore this matter and will send the police to protect you."

"The reason I'm here is to ask if you know of anything important that has happened to the Kree family, which is why they've contacted you?"

Upon hearing this, Chen An shook his head, "I don't know any of them, and my sister is just a victim too."
