Sky Curtain: My Great Qin must have an aircraft carrier!
Chapter 290 Author's Closing Remarks
As I wrote this, I felt like, "Holy crap, I'm finally done!" It was such a relief!
No need to think about what to write today or what to write tomorrow every day when you open your eyes.
This feeling was so painful that Cavena was in so much pain that he wanted to die.
To be honest, I really wanted to use AI to write it, but the text written by AI is very strange. The emperor is like a temporary worker who comes out to express his opinion and then leaves on his own.
Or simply ignore the laws of physics. For example, I could have an AI write an outline, and damn it, steam-powered ironclad warships would appear.
The most obvious example is the cement. The difficulties were repeatedly emphasized earlier, but after the strength was demonstrated, everyone went crazy trying to work with the cement.
Let's not even talk about the production volume issue anymore. I've already analyzed it myself. Developing Zhengjin cement is too costly and not worth the effort.
Then came the line, "Even if it means the fall of the country, we have to do it," which is truly defying the heavens.
Finally, as is customary, let me share some closing remarks.
Actually, when I had written about 20 words of this novel, I found myself unable to continue.
The ideas I had when I started writing this book were only enough for this much; the rest were copied from other people's novels or short videos.
To be honest, I never expected to write more than 70 words.
This is my first time writing a Skyfall-style novel, and it feels a bit different from what others have written.
It was a very subtle feeling. I was mainly focused on reacting, and the content displayed on the screen wasn't particularly extensive.
Moreover, the book's tone is not one of glorifying the emperor.
Actually, you can tell from the beginning that my tone was rather sarcastic, and I was digging up dirt on emperors of various dynasties.
Furthermore, I deleted many parts, which were either very sarcastic or simply offensive.
If a chapter has fewer than 2000 words, it has been heavily edited.
Later, when I ran out of inspiration, my tone became less sharp, and it gradually turned into this.
As for the book as a whole, it's just so-so, and I'm not very satisfied with it personally.
The main issue is the development of various dynasties under the influence of the celestial curtain, which is not well written.
I didn't write an outline; I just wrote whatever came to mind, so the development of dynasties is quite fragmented.
For example, when Liu Bei took Yizhou, there was no process involved; he simply went straight in.
In the final chapter, Liu Bei and his group didn't appear at all, mainly because they didn't know what to write.
After all, Cao Cao's battles are still ongoing, and Sun Quan is also eyeing Jiangdong with hostility. Writing the final chapter would be too exhausting.
I simply don't have the energy to think of all these follow-up parts and then write them down.
The second problem is historical inaccuracies, which I can't do anything about; many things are answered by AI.
For example, when writing about the Kaiyuan era, I wonder how many people noticed the historical errors in the text?
I've rambled on for so long, and I'm still a little short of 1000 words. Let me think of something else I can write.
Because I don't want to write anything praising the emperor, but I also want my writing to be interesting, I'm really annoyed every day.
Perhaps reading other people's books and praising Qin Shi Huang and Emperor Wu of Han is what people like to read?
Moreover, it's easy to fill in the word count; just throw it to the AI editor, and the characters' reactions and emotional conflicts will be on point.
Take that dynastic song for example; the content is so boring it's unbelievable, yet it can fill four or five chapters.
Anyway, it seems that writing this kind of content is more comfortable than writing documentaries, trivia about ancient times, or modern and contemporary topics.
Speaking of the idea behind my book, it was actually to show the ancients the rise of a great power. I wonder how many people have seen it?
I've checked and the word count is up, so I'll stop my closing remarks here.
A sincere thank you to all the handsome men and beautiful women who have read this far. I hope you are all happy every day and living your own lives.
