Upon arriving at the gates of the lord's main castle, Ramsay turned back and instructed everyone to wait outside before heading straight into the castle.

The guards, seeing that the visitor was Sheriff Ramsay, immediately let him pass.

Ramsey snorted coldly and retorted without any politeness, "It's still better than some people who draw the lord's salary but can't even find a trace of pirates!"

"If I were him, I would have quit my job and gone home to farm long ago, instead of making a fool of myself here."

Terry's face darkened instantly after being hit where it hurt.

"What do you mean, 'what do you mean'?" Ramsey proudly puffed out his belly. "I'm going to report important intelligence about the pirates to the lord right now. I don't have time to waste with you here!"

"Let them all in!" Harald urgently ordered the servants standing by the door.

When the dozen or so villagers from Gangde Village entered the study and performed the kneeling ceremony, they all stood in front of the lord's desk, making the originally spacious study feel a little crowded.
