The Magical Food God of Hogwarts

Chapter 130 Revenge is a Must

Chapter 130 Revenge is a Must

It was almost dawn.

Harry and Neville made a makeshift bed on the floor in the warm room using spare blankets and pillows, and were already asleep.

But Lucas didn't. Although his eyes were closed, his mind was filled with too many chaotic thoughts.

First of all, it's obvious that there's something wrong with my memory.

Harry was a normal baby; his infancy memories were buried. But I am different; I was reborn as a human, so I should have clear memories from birth.

But now, desperately trying to recall, I realize that since I can remember, my world only consisted of my grandfather, not my parents. After regaining a piece of my missing memory, I understand that such a void is very abnormal.

Did someone erase or seal this memory? Until I was stimulated by Boggart and "The Crucible" and regained a fragment. Secondly, my grandfather told me since I was a child that my parents disappeared inexplicably.

I had just been born. My father took my mother, who had just been discharged from the hospital, and me back to the farm, while my grandfather went out to the city to buy baby supplies. When my grandfather returned, he found that my parents were missing, and I was all alone in my swaddling clothes. My grandfather then reported it to the police and searched for me through various means, but he couldn't find any trace of me.

The sudden disappearance of his son and daughter-in-law severely traumatized the grandfather, making him stubborn and neurotic.

But now that I think about it, it's really too bizarre. What kind of parents would abandon their home and newborn child and just disappear without a trace?

If this is the power of magic, then everything makes sense.

But then another question arises: if my parents in this life were tortured to death by the female demon Bella's gang, who saved me?

Who cleaned up the scene, repaired the broken furniture, and eliminated the traces left by Bella and the others after their abuse?

Was it an Auror from the Ministry of Magic? Unlikely. That year was when Voldemort was at his most rampant, with Death Eaters operating in broad daylight, creating terror everywhere. They openly intruded into the Muggle world, taking pleasure in torturing and killing ordinary people, flaunting their violence—this was how their own parents had died so tragically.

The Ministry of Magic was powerless to do anything about it, and had even been thoroughly infiltrated by Death Eaters. The Department of Magical Law Enforcement was almost at a standstill, and the Auror and Strikers teams were fighting their own battles and were in a weak and ineffective state.

Moreover, this doesn't seem like how Aurors handle such incidents.

So, a wizard saved me, erased all traces, and altered my memories...

Why? And who could it be?

Finally, how should I handle this discovery?

Seeing that scene, witnessing the tragic state of my parents in this life, and seeing how they fought so desperately to protect me—Bella and her gang's brutality was appalling. Just thinking about it makes me want to retaliate!

According to Neville, Bella and many Death Eaters were already imprisoned in Azkaban, the living hell, to be punished and live a life worse than death. Living a few more years would be a form of atonement.

Wait, there's one more person!

At the end of this memory, the image of the male wizard who cast the spell on his mother reappeared clearly in his mind.

He was a pale-skinned young man with light blond hair and freckles. I will never forget his face.

In my memory, none of the other Death Eaters showed their faces clearly, only Bella and this man!

Bella was tortured in Azkaban, but what about this man? Who was he? Was he tried alongside Bella, or did he escape punishment?

Lucas already knew that after Voldemort's downfall, many of his supporters escaped trial through various means, such as Lucius Malfoy.

I need to find out who this person is. If he's still at large, then I will personally exact my revenge!

And that mysterious wizard who saved me—I also need to find out who he or she is...

Although I discovered such a major event, my pursuit of magical cuisine has never changed, and my passion will never cease. It's just that there's been an extra interlude in my life that I must resolve.

Lucas turned over and saw Harry, who was sleeping restlessly on the floor, and Neville, whose face was still streaked with tears.

Furthermore, I have an even more difficult task: to use my food to heal this twisted pain.

But regardless, I need to master powerful magic. Especially to deal with such cruel dark wizards, I need to master extraordinary methods.

Voldemort was a "legend," so Bellatrix, as his top female villain, must have been at least a level six or seven strong. That man, as her companion, should have been about the same.

I'm still far behind them. Even if Professor Dumbledore praises my talent and thinks highly of me, I've only just begun to learn.

Lucas's gaze shifted again, landing on the old diary with a black cover on the desk.

This book of wisdom, this book of heritage, I need its power to fight Voldemort and his Death Eaters.

It gave me a test, asking me to gather intelligence on Harry from various aspects and to provide a reasonable analysis of how he defeated Voldemort.

I thought this would be a very difficult task, but after Boggart's commotion, Harry immediately remembered what happened that night. I just heard his recollection too.

Voldemort was defeated by the backlash of his own curse, and his fate was unknown. His Death Eater group also fell apart overnight.

After some more investigation and speculation, I think I can hand in my paper.

I wonder what kind of spell the Book of Inheritance will teach me this time?

What kind of spell was "Heart-Piercing Bone-Splitting" that Bella and that man used?

Well, you can't get fat in one bite. Let's master the "Thunder Explosion" first.

In the early morning, Harry, Hermione, and Neville said goodbye to Lucas and returned to the Gryffindor Tower. After discussing it, they all agreed to keep it a secret. After all, no matter what, the six of them had genuinely broken school rules by going out for a night stroll and that's when they encountered this incident; it would cause trouble if word got out.

Fortunately, everyone handled the situation well, and Boggart did not cause any real damage. Even Lucas and Harry, who were knocked away, only suffered bone pain from hitting the wall and had several large bruises, which they could recover from without potions.

As for Malfoy, who cheated Harry by breaking the rules, Lucas believed it was time to teach him a lesson. If he came to duel fair and square, even if he was defeated, Lucas would still respect him. He never expected that the Malfoy family, with their grandeur, would resort to such low-class tricks.

Lucas actually thought they had aristocratic manners.

If that's the case, then Tom's initial analysis that his stall permit was suddenly suspended might very well have been orchestrated by the Malfoys.

When it was time for breakfast, Harry suddenly ran over from the Gryffindor table and mysteriously pulled Lucas aside.

"What's wrong, Harry?"

"I know, Lucas!" Harry said excitedly. "Do you remember the trapdoor under that Boggart cabinet?"

Oh, Lucas remembers. It was a chaotic scene, and Boggart was only defeated, not killed. Everyone was busy leaving and no one thought to take another look.

"Didn't Professor Dumbledore take you to deal with the mermaids at the opening banquet?" Harry said. "Professor Flitwick announced a few rules, one of which was that entering the fourth-floor corridor was absolutely forbidden."

"That corridor is the one we broke into last night!"

"You're only finding out now..." Lucas nodded. "Keep your voice down, and then what?"

"I used to wonder why they wouldn't let us in." Harry's face lit up with the excitement of solving a mystery. "So that's how it is! That Boggart was guarding a door, and what was really forbidden to be touched was inside that door."

Lucas continued nodding. "I see," he thought. "Dumbledore had also told him that Cerberus was placed in that room for a secret mission."

Was it as a guard? After the Cerberus was removed, a Boggart was put in to scare people?

Harry glanced around furtively, then lowered his voice: "The important thing is, I know what's inside the door!"

Lucas was taken aback: "What?"

Harry recounted his visit to Hagrid and how he'd seen the Gringotts robbery in the old newspapers, and how he and Hagrid had taken items from Vault 713 just before the robbery. "You mean, behind the door, there might be that dusty little package, about two inches long, that Hagrid took?"

Harry nodded vigorously: "That's right! That's something Hagrid was entrusted by Professor Dumbledore to retrieve; it must be an extremely valuable treasure! That's why it was targeted, but luckily we got it first. And Dumbledore, to protect it, put it in that room..."

Lucas was somewhat suspicious. He recalled the fierce battle outside Gringotts, where the bearded man's Silent Spell was incredibly powerful, overwhelming Tonks and nearly killing both of them.

"Harry, if it's that dark wizard who robbed the bank, the Ministry of Magic still hasn't been able to catch him. He's incredibly powerful and terrifying; the Boggart alone can't stop him."

"Even Cerberus won't work," Lucas added to himself.

"Oh dear, that's just the first hurdle!" Harry exclaimed, still full of excitement. "There might be five, six, seven, or even eight more hurdles behind that door!"

"Then why didn't Dumbledore just hide the treasure in his office or carry it with him?" Lucas retorted. "What's the point of making it seem like he's testing his successor through a series of trials?"

9

But Harry insisted that his point of view was perfectly reasonable, so Lucas had no choice but to say, "Fine, even if Dumbledore's treasure is behind that door, what are you going to do?"

Harry was stunned.

"You're not planning to steal that treasure anyway, so what can you do even if you find out?" Lucas sighed. "Do you want to try again? Forget it, this is none of our business."

Harry nodded blankly. That made sense; entering that corridor was already forbidden.

But then his eyes lit up again: "Lucas, don't you find it exciting to know this kind of secret? We are the guardians of the secret of justice, secretly assisting Professor Dumbledore in resisting all enemies..."

Lucas shook his head and smiled helplessly.

Ah, you really are a little lion. The Sorting Hat was absolutely right to put you in Gryffindor, Harry.

After breakfast, on the last day of the week, Friday's classes began.

Ellie and Hannah were initially very worried about Lucas, fearing that the memories of the female demon Bella and Lucas from yesterday would be a major blow to him. The livid and furious Lucas from yesterday made them uneasy.

To their great relief, Lucas had returned to his former self, with a smile on his face, calm and clear hazel eyes, and red hair that shimmered like flames in the sunlight.

The morning classes are quite special, as they are large lectures attended by first-year students from all four colleges, with the course topics rotating between the two courses of Charms and Transfiguration each week.

This is because Hogwarts considers Charms and Transfiguration very important, and in addition to a small class taught by each house every week, they also have a large class taught by all four houses to reinforce these skills.

It is said that Potions class was originally intended to be included in this model, but Professor Snape firmly refused, claiming that he did not want to lose 100 points in a single class.

The first week's main course was Transfiguration, so the second week switched to Charms.

Professor Flitwick stood on a bench in the center of the large classroom, first reviewing the Illumination Charm he had learned in the previous class with the first-year students from the four houses, and then laughed.

"As you may have heard, I taught Hufflepuff a disarming charm on the spot and demonstrated some wizard dueling techniques in my class."

"Students from other colleges have been complaining to me about how unfair this is, so in this class, I will be teaching this topic openly to everyone."

The little wizards of time began to discuss it excitedly, and many cheered and applauded.

Professor Flitwick chuckled: "But don't get too excited yet. In fact, this is completely beyond the curriculum. Although I have already taught it once, I dare say that very few Hufflepuff students will be able to master it."

The badger cubs all turned to look at Lucas, who then gently nudged Ellie with his elbow.

Although I have learned the Disarming Charm, Ellie's Disarming Charm last night was also extremely beautiful, directly knocking away the fake Bella's wand.

Professor Flitwick noticed the badgers' gazes and his smile widened.

"Yes, of course, Mr. Lucas McGregor has mastered the Disarming Charm. Would you please come up here and give us another demonstration?"

The badger crows applauded enthusiastically, and the lion crows and eagle crows also clapped. Only the snake crows applauded sparsely and very restrainedly.

Ellie pouted in dissatisfaction, and Lucas patted her head gently before walking onto the stage.

Professor Flitwick waved his hand, and a dummy dressed in armor and wielding a longsword stood up. Lucas breathed a sigh of relief. So, he wanted him to spar with a dummy. He thought he was going to have to practice with Professor Flitwick again.

Lucas got into position, and the incantation syllables and gestures were executed in one smooth motion, following the key points of the change.

"Disarm you!"

A beam of red light struck the dummy with a bang. The dummy's armor rattled as it fell backward, but the longsword in its hand flew high into the air, which Lucas caught and twirled twice.

Wow

The young wizards' eyes lit up, and they clapped enthusiastically.

Professor Flitwick nodded in satisfaction and announced loudly, "Hufflepuff plus ten points!"

Then, amidst the clamor, he shouted, "This spell was created for wizard duels; it can only be quickly mastered in actual combat. Lucas just demonstrated it with a dummy. Now, Lucas, please choose another assistant, and you two demonstrate it together."

Ellie's eyes lit up, and she had already lifted her foot.

To everyone's surprise, Lucas exclaimed, "Very well, then Draco Malfoy will be my opponent! No, I mean my assistant."

Malfoy's face turned green.
