The Magical Food God of Hogwarts

Chapter 129 Deep Hatred

Chapter 129 Deep Hatred

Who is she?

In that instant, Lucas's mind was filled with doubt.

Should I get to know this woman? Why does Boggart think she's my most feared person? She's not scary at all; she's quite beautiful.

"It's you, kid," the woman said in a sharp, cold tone. "I didn't expect you to live this long."

"I'm sorry," Lucas said, holding up his wand in confusion. "Who are you? Should I know you?"

"Don't you remember me?" The woman's expression became even more ferocious. She immediately realized that Lucas was telling the truth, because she could no longer sense any fear from him, nor could she draw any strength from him!

She was just an empty shell without any power.

But at that moment, everyone heard a scream!

Everyone turned around in a panic and saw Navee, the one who had screamed!

His face was deathly pale, his fists clenched to his chest, staring at the woman with eyes bulging out of their sockets. He was trembling all over, uttering incoherent words, his face contorted with a mixture of extreme fear and rage.

Everyone was terrified; no one had ever seen Neville like this before. Lucas was especially puzzled—how did Neville know this?

A woman?

But he immediately felt a chill run down his spine and thought to himself, "This is bad."

Sure enough, the woman immediately turned to Neville, her body trembling like ripples on water as she greedily inhaled.

"The taste of fear is truly wonderful..."

'

Lucas was shocked. How could Neville also be afraid of this woman?

She received energy from Na'vi!

But she completely ignored Neville, turning her head to stare at Lucas, whose once beautiful face was now twisted and contorted with rage.

"You filthy, vile Muggle bastard!" the woman angrily raised her wand. "How dare you forget me! It seems only this will teach you a lesson!"

With a powerful swing of her wand, her brutal intent materialized: "Crucible Torture!"

A streak of dark green light shot towards Lucas like a whip!

But Lucas remained rooted to the spot!

The Boggart's ability to create an image is distorted, stemming from reading the target's imagination. Just like Voldemort's inexplicable strength, yet he could still be hit by Lucas's spell, his abilities have many weaknesses.

The woman was the same; although she could cast powerful spells, her spellcasting methods were very rigid. Lucas could see her shoulders, wrists, and supporting feet at a glance, and thus predicted the direction from which the spell would come. The spell wasn't flying very fast either, and Lucas was already prepared to dodge.

But when the green light fully illuminated, it was as if a bolt of lightning had exploded in my mind, and the spinning images flashed by like a black and white television.

"Look at him, look at his calves, how energetically he's moving them..." It was a gentle male voice, looking down at him with delighted eyes.

"Dougall, his hair and eyes are just like yours," a woman said happily. "Our son will definitely grow up to be a handsome man."

"Why isn't Dad back yet?" The man stood up with some concern. "It's taking way too long for him to go buy diapers."

"Don't worry about Doggle, our village is really too remote," the woman comforted him. "Or maybe there's something wrong with that old car."

"I've heard things haven't been peaceful lately," the man sighed. "A group of wicked bandits are causing trouble everywhere, killing anyone they see..."

'

"Oh God, Doug, don't say that, it's scary to hear," the woman shuddered. "The police will arrest them."

But just then, a sharp crackling sound was heard, followed by maniacal laughter from the courtyard.

"What?" the man exclaimed in alarm, and then with a loud crash, the door was smashed open. Loud, unrestrained laughter echoed through the house, shattering all warmth and happiness.

"Look what we've found! A whole family of Muggles!" a shrill female voice exclaimed. "A male Muggle, a female Muggle, and a little Muggle!"

Several other voices screamed, like hunting dogs spotting their prey.

"Who are you?!" the man shouted, charging forward. "Get out of here!"

His voice turned into a scream, and the woman began to scream in terror.

"Let's begin, let's begin our feast!" the female voice roared with laughter. "We will prove to the world that Muggles should be classified as 'beasts,' and they are only fit to be our slaves and playthings!"

"Master! Dark Lord, my dearest master!" the woman said ecstatically. "Look at me, your most loyal follower, I will do anything for you." "What do you want to do!" the man said painfully. "I'll give you all the money you want, please, don't touch my wife and children."

His perspective began to spin, and he heard a painful scream from above. Lucas suddenly realized that the woman who was holding him was being dragged out by her hair and slammed to the ground.

But she held herself tightly in her arms.

"Please, please don't hurt the child..." she groaned, pleading, "You can have anything you want, please... for God's sake..."

However, her humble pleas were met only with hysterical laughter. The man lunged forward to shield her, but she was lifted up by an unseen force and dragged into the air.

Lucas saw that the man's leg was broken and twisted to one side like a pretzel.

A magic wand was pressed against his head. A tall woman with thick, flowing black hair held the wand, her eyes flashing with madness.

No...don't...let him go!

Lucas shouted in his mind, but the sound all turned into the crying of a baby.

"Oh, poor little things..." The witch with the wand smiled maliciously. "It's not our fault. Blame it on you Muggles, you lowly, stupid Muggles who were born to die."

Then, she raised her wand.

No, please, don't subject me to this "heart-wrenching pain!"

The dark green incantation burrowed into the man's body like a venomous snake. He let out a non-human howl, his entire body writhing in agony as he curled up, only to twist and contort in pain. Soon, he could no longer even scream; death was a distant dream.

"Dougall!" the woman holding herself screamed, her whole body trembling, yet she clung to herself even tighter.

"Ugh, so noisy! So annoying!" a male wizard suddenly cursed, and with a wave of his wand, pulled himself out of his swaddling clothes.

In a chaotic spinning motion, Lucas heard the woman scream in terror.

"Luca, Luca! Let go of my child!"

The wizard clicked his tongue impatiently and pointed his wand at the woman.

Don't go to such extremes!

The dark green light ripped apart Lucas's memories!

Lucas let out a painful cry, unable to dodge the incoming curse, and crouched down, clutching his head.

Harry felt another sharp pain on his forehead scar, Neville let out a choked sob, and Hannah and Hermione screamed in unison!

Suddenly, a figure crashed into Lucas, knocking him to the ground. The two rolled to the side in a hug.

It's Ellie!

The violent and cruel spell slammed onto the floor with a thud, and before Ellie could even get up, those furious purple eyes locked onto the woman, and she swung her arm heavily.

"Disarm you!"

A beam of red light shot out from the tip of Ellie's wand and struck the woman hard! The woman screamed, and the wand in her hand flew up and then disappeared—it was something that Boggart had conjured up.

"No!" she screamed, her attention uncontrollably focused on Ellie, and she began to transform again.

Then, Hermione seized the opportunity, grabbed Hannah and rushed forward, while Harry, also covering his forehead, surrounded Boggart.

Boggart's body writhed and spun like mud. The sheer number of targets threw it into disarray, and its abilities began to dart about haphazardly.

*Snap!* It turned into a zero-score exam paper. *Snap!* It turned into an expulsion notice. *Snap!* It turned into Voldemort with only half a head. *Snap!* It turned into a woman without nostrils.

Snap, snap, snap! Its body twisted and flickered, beginning to deform in an irreversible direction.

"Get out of the way"

A cold voice rang out. The young wizards quickly parted to let Lucas, whose face was ashen, step forward.

They had never seen Lucas so angry, his arms trembling.

"Lucas..." Ellie supported him worriedly, but Lucas suddenly raised his wand.

"Flames are raging!"

A blazing white fireball shot through the air, and in an instant, several young wizards could smell the burning of their own curly hair.

A roar seemed to echo within the fireball, something was struggling to materialize, but the fireball had already slammed heavily into the still twisting and deforming Boggart.

Boggart let out a horrific scream as flames erupted from his body, shooting straight up to the roof.

"Uh, Lucas, even though you're angry, I still have to remind you," Hermione said quickly, "ordinary spells can't completely destroy a Borgatt. Only a special comical charm can subdue it, and only a hearty, courageous laugh can destroy it..."

Sure enough, Boggart screamed and writhed, then the flames went out with a whoosh. It flashed back into the wardrobe like a wisp of mist, and the wardrobe door slammed shut.

The young wizards looked at each other, then at Lucas, whose face was grim.

No one had learned the "funny spell," and no one thought they could genuinely laugh out loud in the current situation.

Therefore, they could only temporarily repel the Boggart, but could not eliminate it.

Lucas took a deep breath. He knew that his anger wasn't directed at Boggart, but at that woman!

He looked at Neville, who was still trembling and stiff.

"Navie, how do you know her? Who is she?"

After a long time, Neville's tears suddenly fell.

"I...of course I know her...I'd recognize her even if she were ashes."

'

"My grandmother showed me her portrait when I was little, telling me she was the enemy who tormented my parents!"

"My parents are still lying in St. Mungo's; they've completely lost their minds..."

'

"This wicked woman, she is none other than Bellatrix Lestrange, the most notorious female villain under the Mysterious Man's command!"

Fifteen minutes later, in Hufflepuff's lounge.

Lucas lay on his back on the soft sofa, staring blankly at the vines hanging from the ceiling. Ellie and Hannah sat worriedly on either side of him, unsure of what to say.

It was past 1 a.m., and only a few of them were in the common room. Hermione was worried that the fat lady of Gryffindor would see them and ask all sorts of questions, revealing that they were out for the night, so she decided to spend the night in the Hufflepuff common room with Harry and Neville.

Hufflepuff's portrait is always welcome to any guest.

The only sounds in the lounge now are the crackling of the fireplace and Harry's soft narration.

"Boggart turning into Voldemort reminded me of some things and showed me some images."

"I heard my dad trying to stop Voldemort so my mom could take me and run, but Voldemort killed him. My mom... she kept begging him not to kill me, but Voldemort..." Harry's eyes reddened again, "He killed my mom."

Hermione held his hand tightly, her eyes filled with tears.

"So it seems Voldemort's target is me, and my parents were only trying to protect me... But I don't understand, why does Voldemort want to kill me?"

No one could answer Harry's question, so Harry continued on his own: "Then, I saw Voldemort..."

I raised my wand and cast a spell, something like "Awara."

Hermione gasped.

A flash of green light, and the spell was deflected, hitting Voldemort directly and sending him flying. I was in so much pain, and then I remembered nothing more... and I could never see anything again...

Harry covered the scar on his forehead again.

"It hurts... Why is that? How could I deflect Voldemort's spell?"

Of course, no one could answer him. Only Hermione cautiously said, "I think it's a talent, Harry. It's a gift from God, and it's your mission. So many books say it. You are the savior, Voldemort's nemesis."

Harry gave a wry smile: "I'd rather not have this kind of reputation. I just want my mom and dad to be alive."

He looked at Lucas, who had remained silent, and hesitated for a moment.

"Lucas, when you saw that she-devil Bella, did it remind you of anything?"

Lucas closed his eyes, then opened them again; the dark green light seemed to still flicker before his eyes. He let out a long breath.

"Yes, I also recovered a long-forgotten memory. I also saw my mom and dad."

"They were just ordinary people. Bella and a few Death Eaters broke into my house, captured them, and tortured them to death."

Hannah, tears streaming down her face, clung to Lucas's arm. Allie suddenly drew her wand: "Where is that witch? Lucas! Let's go kill her and avenge your parents!"

"She's locked up in Azkaban now," Neville said suddenly, his voice filled with anguish. "I wanted to tear her to pieces, but she's been sentenced to life imprisonment. Of course, in a hellhole like Azkaban, living is worse than dying."

"Even if she were still alive, she'd probably be on her last breath. I hope she can live a few more years, suffer a few more years before she dies... Every time I go to St. Mungo's to see my parents, my mother..."

He started sobbing and couldn't continue.

The lounge fell silent again, and finally, Lucas spoke slowly.

"Harry, Neville. It seems we have a deep-seated hatred for Voldemort and his bastards."
