Chapter 185 Ambush of the Dark Elves

As soon as Li En landed, he turned to Jian beside him and said, "I need your help with something. Help me find the precise landing point on Earth when the nine celestial bodies converge."

"Bring Professor Selvig along, and I'll have Jarvis fully cooperate with you."

Jane's brows furrowed immediately. She stared at Li En for a few seconds, then her voice deepened: "You mean, those dark elves will come to Earth?"

"Then why didn't you just help Odin, the king of the gods, wipe them all out when you were in Asgard?"

She paused for a moment, and a light suddenly flashed in her eyes.

"Wait, you deliberately lured them here, didn't you?"

As she asked the questions, she was rapidly piecing together all the clues in her mind.

Li En's actions in Asgard were too strange. He could have easily cooperated with Odin and Thor in the royal city to wipe out the dark elves.

He did nothing but draw a vial of blood, then grabbed himself and ran.

The moment he landed, his first thought wasn't how to defend himself, but rather to have her find the point where the celestial bodies converged.

He wants to launch another ambush on Earth.

Her eyes instantly welled up with tears.

She had witnessed firsthand how New York was destroyed during the last Chitauri invasion.

Now Li En is actually planning to bring another group of aliens to Earth.

How much destruction will this cause? How many people will lose their homes and even their lives?

Looking at her reddened eyes, Li En's tone remained calm: "So I need you to pinpoint their exact location."

As long as we can set up an ambush in advance, those dark elves will not be able to cause damage in the city, and there will be no civilian casualties.

But if you're unwilling to look for it, then we can only passively defend ourselves.

At that point, the likelihood of casualties will actually increase significantly.

Jane bit her lip and remained silent.

Just then, a beam of seven-colored light suddenly crashed down from behind them.

Thor strode out of the light, still clutching Mjolnir in his hand, his face bearing the lingering anger of his failed pursuit.

Jane turned around abruptly, walked a few steps to Thor's side, and quickly explained her earlier guess in a low voice.

Thor's expression didn't change much after hearing this; he simply hummed in response.

Seeing his nonchalant attitude, Jane turned away in anger, her chest heaving several times, but she didn't continue to vent her anger.

She stood there for a few seconds to calm herself down, then picked up the black phone that Li En had just thrown at her and pressed the shortcut key marked "1".

The call was answered almost instantly.

"Hello, Dr. Jane, I am Jarvis. I have heard everything you just had with Mr. Lee."

Please feel free to ask if you need anything.

Jane took a deep breath and spoke quickly: "Bring my teacher, Professor Selvig, over. I need to work with him. Also, prepare a top-of-the-line laboratory for me."

"Yes, Dr. Jane. Professor Selvig is expected to arrive at the Umbrella Institute in fifteen minutes."

Furthermore, the building behind you is currently the most advanced laboratory on Earth.

Jane slammed her phone shut, just as her stomach started rumbling.

Thor grinned, put his arm around her shoulder, and walked towards the Umbrella Research Institute without saying a word.

He had been here several times and knew there was a cafeteria inside where you could get hot hamburgers 24 hours a day.

Li En didn't follow; instead, she turned and went into the laboratory.

As soon as he went inside, he untied the two storage boxes that were tightly bound with chains behind him and placed them on the workbench.

He straightened up and spoke to the ceiling: "Jarvis, tell Tony and the others to drop everything and come over immediately."

"Mr. Li En, the moment you returned to Earth, Mr. Tony and the others were already on their way back."

No sooner had Jarvis finished speaking than the laboratory door was suddenly pushed open, less than ten seconds later.

Tony Stark, Bruce Banner, and Connors.

The three of them rushed in almost side by side, their shoes making short, rapid scraping sounds on the floor.

The three people's eyes locked onto the two boxes on the control panel at the same instant.

Tony pointed at the box, then looked up at Li En: "This is the compensation you got back from Odin, the King of Gods?"

Li En nodded: "To be honest, these two things can be considered as infinite energy in a sense."

"Unlimited energy?" Tony raised an eyebrow, his tone tinged with disdain and skepticism.

"Are you kidding me? Can you even compare to the reactor I developed?"

He stepped forward, picked up one of the boxes, placed it on the control panel, and pried open the latch.

The moment the lid was lifted, a flame quietly burning inside the bronze container was revealed.

"That's it?" Tony stared down at the flame. "It's just a ball of fire. What does it have to do with unlimited energy?"

Connors leaned closer, adjusted his glasses, and examined it carefully for a moment. His voice suddenly became uncertain: "Lian, you said this was obtained from Odin, the King of Gods? Then this thing... wouldn't it be... the Eternal Flame?"

"That's right." Li En replied casually, already scrolling through the news on his tablet.

"That's why I said, if you can find a way to transform and utilize this energy."

Or it could be used as the power core of a spacecraft, or even developed into a new type of energy system.

Anyway, the three of you will definitely come up with far more uses than I know.

Bruce Banner then picked up another box.

He opened the box, and a visible blast of cold air immediately rushed out, causing the temperature around the control panel to drop dramatically within seconds.

Inside the box lay a blue square box, with a very faint mist constantly flowing over its surface.

Connors's eyes twitched, and he blurted out, "You even got the Ice Magic Box back?"

Tony's brow twitched slightly.

When Connors shouted "Eternal Flame" just now, he had Jarvis pull up all the relevant Norse mythology information in the background, and now an Ice Box has appeared.

He instantly understood why Li En used the term "unlimited energy".

One can unleash flames indefinitely, and the other can unleash extreme cold indefinitely.

Each one is outrageous enough on its own, but when you put the two together, there are hundreds of ways you could play with them, just by thinking about it in your head.

Banner and Connors, standing nearby, had already started spouting their ideas one after another.

The three of them plunged into a discussion almost instantly, speaking faster and faster and gesturing more and more frequently.

Just as they were having the most heated discussion, Li En suddenly interjected: "By the way, Dr. Jane and Professor Selvig are tracking the precise landing point of the intersection of the nine realms."

We need to set up an ambush in advance, and wipe out the enemy as soon as they arrive at their landing point.
