Marvel's whitewashing cop, you want me to save the world?

Chapter 184 Find a way to get them to Earth

Li En did not follow.

He glanced down at the body on the ground, which had been split in two.

The remains of the dark elves were melting rapidly, and the black blood turned into wisps of black smoke upon contact with the air, slowly spreading along the prison floor.

He frowned. It seemed that to collect blood from these guys, he would have to draw it while they were still alive.

He turned around and walked upwards, intending to send Dr. Jane back to Earth first.

During that brief standoff, a piece of information that he had previously overlooked suddenly flashed through his mind.

Dark Elves possess spaceships that travel through the universe.

Their technological level is not only no lower than that of the Chitauri Legion, but may even be higher.

If they could acquire another Dark Elf warship, Tony's reverse engineering progress would be measured in more than just "six months".

Even if it doesn't save much time, the final product will definitely be much better than trying to learn only the Chitauri line after comparing two different alien technology systems.

He stepped out of the dungeon, looked up, and gazed toward the room where Thor and Jane had been.

A ray of golden light shone through the window, followed by Dr. Jane's urgent shout: "An enemy—Thor! Where are you!"

Li En leaped onto the balcony of the room with both feet, landing without making a sound.

The scene inside the room is immediately apparent.

Frigga drew a short dagger from behind her and stabbed it at a dark elf by the window, whose eyes were blinded by the golden light.

The dagger plunged cleanly into the other person's neck.

The dark elf didn't even utter a sound of alarm.

At that very moment, an even larger figure quietly appeared beside the curtains.

Dr. Jane's eyes widened, and she pointed in that direction, blurting out, "There's another one over there!"

Frigga immediately turned to the side, but it was too late.

A left hand covered in rough skin grabbed her neck and lifted her off the ground.

The golden light in the room was so dazzling that it shone straight toward the balcony, completely unnoticed by the people inside.

Li En was standing behind that light, quietly watching everything.

The one whose neck was just pierced was Malekith, the current leader of the Dark Elves.

He reached out and covered his neck; the wound healed rapidly under his palm, leaving no scar in a matter of moments.

He covered his eyes with his hands and roared in a low voice, each syllable seemingly ground from the depths of his throat: "Where is the Aether? Hand it over, and I might spare your life."

Frigga was being choked and suspended in mid-air, but she didn't even flinch.

She simply took a disdainful bite in Malekith's direction.

"Pooh."

The dark elf warrior who was gripping her neck, Algrim, suddenly tightened his five fingers.

The faint sound of bones being compressed could be clearly heard in the quiet room.

A trickle of clear liquid escaped from the corner of Frigga's mouth, but her eyes remained unchanged.

Malekith snorted and ignored the stubborn queen.

"It's okay if you don't want to talk about it. Isn't there another mortal over there?"

He still covered his eyes with one hand as he walked toward Dr. Jane, who was slowly making her way toward the door.

On the balcony, Li En tucked the Hades Requiem back into his waistband, freeing one hand.

no way.

The chains need to be kept to secure the two storage boxes on my back containing the Ice Box and the Eternal Flame; the gun isn't needed for now.

He flipped his wrist and took out a huge, specially made syringe from the space storage.

He walked silently, step by step, behind Malekith.

"Roar!" Algrim suddenly roared.

He casually threw Frigga against the wall, but the moment the queen's body left his grasp, she vanished into thin air like a phantom.

This woman was an illusion from the very beginning.

Algrim immediately realized something was wrong.

He turned his head and saw Li En standing behind Malekith, the syringe already raised in his hand.

He roared and charged at Li En, raising his right foot to kick out fiercely.

Li En simply nimbly sidestepped and jumped a step, letting the kick graz the corner of her clothes and miss the ground, as if she had dodged something so slow that it didn't need to be taken seriously.

At the same time, he suddenly thrust his wrist downwards.

The needle pierced Malekith's back with precision, reaching his heart.

Piston retraction.

Black, viscous blood spread upwards along the transparent tube wall.

Malekith let out a bloodcurdling scream.

Li Enqian deftly pulled out the syringe, sealed it, and put it back in his spatial storage.

He didn't pursue the two dark elves at all. Instead, he turned and rushed towards Dr. Jane, scooped her up from the ground, and then flipped her over the edge of the balcony.

In the instant of falling, he deliberately lifted the rebellious Yama high.

The Reality Gem on the blade flashed a striking dark red light in the Asgardian sunlight.

"Aether!" Malekith roared, clutching his chest. "Chase him! Go and bring him back to me!"

With Jane Foster on his back, Li En leaped down the outer wall of Asgard.

Upon landing, his knees bent slightly to absorb all the impact, and he turned and sprinted toward the Rainbow Bridge.

"Their target is the Reality Stone," he explained to the person on his shoulder as he ran, speaking quickly but in a steady tone.

"In terms of direct combat strength, these guys could never fight a full-scale war against Asgard."

They only managed to catch us off guard with a sneak attack, and now they're running away after they've gained their advantage. Let's go back to Earth first.

Jane was about to ask something, but she shut her mouth after hearing those words.

Li En rushed to the control terminal of the Rainbow Bridge and shouted to Heimdall, who was standing still, "Send us back to Earth."

Heimdall remained silent.

He inserted the greatsword into the control panel hub, gripped the hilt with both hands, and twisted it sharply.

A beam of seven-colored light cleaved down from the depths of the sky, engulfing both Lee En and Jane Foster, whom he was carrying on his shoulder.

The next moment, the beam of light contracted, and the two disappeared from the spot.

On an open field outside Umbrella Corporation in the suburbs of New York, a beam of light flashed and then disappeared.

After watching the light completely dissipate, Heimdall slowly turned his head and looked towards the highest point of Asgard.

His lips moved slightly, as if he were whispering to someone in the far distance.

"God-King, is it really alright to send him back like this?"

An old and calm voice gently sounded in his ear, as if the speaker was standing right beside him.

Didn't he say that we should create our own future with our own hands?

Everything is now completely different from the future I once envisioned.

If we were to try and reverse the course, Asgard would probably end up with nothing at all.

Then why not just let things take their course and give it a try?

The moment the words fell, a golden light suddenly shone from the top of Asgard Castle, instantly enveloping the entire royal city.

Malekith, who was directing his remaining troops in their looting, saw this and roared at his men without hesitation, "The God-King is about to make his move—retreat! The Aether particles are on the Midgards!"

The dark elf's ship emerged from the shadows in an instant, silently gliding into the sky and disappearing beyond the skies of Asgard.

In Frigga's bedroom.

Loki stumbled in.

His eyes searched frantically around the room until he spotted his mother sitting on the edge of the bed, panting heavily.

He seemed to have all his strength drained away, staggered to her side, and knelt down heavily.

"Mother! Are you hurt?" His voice trembled, his hands still gripping two daggers behind his back, black blood smeared between his fingers.

The lingering chilling aura emanating from him seemed almost comical in contrast to his red-rimmed eyes.

This is how we fought our way here.

Frigga lowered her head, gently stroked Loki's face, and said softly, "I'm fine."

Another series of heavy footsteps approached from afar.

Thor burst into the room, still clutching Mjolnir, which was now brimming with electricity.

His gaze swept over Loki, then over his unharmed mother, and he visibly breathed a sigh of relief.

Then he immediately turned around, his voice urgent: "Those despicable bastards have escaped."

Loki, I entrust my mother to your protection.

Dark elves are masters of hiding in the shadows, and I'm not sure if they've all made it—I have to go after them.

Loki didn't turn around, nor did he even respond.

He remained kneeling on one knee in front of Frigga, motionless.

Thor didn't wait for his response.

He nodded emphatically to Frigga, then turned and rushed out of the palace, running wildly towards the Rainbow Bridge.
