Chapter 152: No Backup Plan

"Jarvis, what does Lee say in this situation? Is there a backup plan?"

Tony stared at Bruce Banner's rapidly swelling body, whose skin was beginning to turn a deep green.

Without the slightest hesitation, he reached out and pressed the portable armor bracelet on his wrist.

Folded metal gushed out from the inside of the bracelet, layering over his arms, torso, and legs.

Within two seconds, he was completely enveloped in the gold and red Mark armor.

The arc-shaped reactor on his chest glowed with a deep blue light, casting a constantly pulsating halo under the cool white lights of the laboratory.

"Mr. Li En said that it could be handed over to Mr. Thor to handle."

Jarvis's voice came through the armor's built-in speaker, his tone as steady as ever.

Thor gently swung Mjolnir in his hand, the hammer spinning a few times in his palm, the resulting wind pressure causing his cloak to flutter loudly.

He grinned, a smile devoid of any tension, but filled with the exhilarating feeling of finally being able to stretch his muscles after being locked up for so long.

"Since our ally has said so, then I'll take care of this big guy."

As soon as he finished speaking, Mjolnir in his hand began to spin faster and faster.

After spinning hundreds of times, the air around the hammer was churned into a visible white vortex.

He gripped the end of the hammer handle, letting Thor's hammer drag him into a straight line, crashing straight into the Hulk, who had already transformed and was letting out a deafening roar.

A loud bang.

The Hulk's massive green body was thrown off the ground, flying backward and crashing through the laboratory's alloy wall.

Two intertwined figures crashed into the next room, and smoke and metal fragments billowed out from the hole.

Steve immediately turned and shouted to the others in the command room, "Evacuate the staff immediately!"

After shouting those words, he turned around and glared fiercely at Nick Fury.

This black braised egg is for real.

He was truly determined to push Li En's plan to the end, even if it meant sacrificing the lives of everyone on the space carrier.

Coulson's gaze swept quickly between Nick Fury and Steve.

On one side was the bureau chief he had followed for many years, and on the other side was Captain America, whom he had idolized since childhood.

Both of them made sense, but they were pointing in completely opposite directions.

Nick Fury's expression remained unchanged, and his tone was calm: "Now that we've confirmed Loki's target is Stark Tower, let's head over there now."

"What are you talking about?" Steve whirled around, his eyes practically spitting fire. "Is this the time for a mission? Evacuate the personnel first!"

"Hulk has Thor to keep him occupied and keep an eye on the severely damaged parts of the ship. The space carrier is modularly designed, and unusable areas can be directly discarded."

We're currently at an altitude of 10,000 meters. Even if everyone parachuted, not everyone would necessarily land alive.

Nick Fury finished speaking coldly, then turned to Coulson, his tone switching to a command: "Go check on Loki's situation."

"Yes," Coulson said, making his own judgment.

He thought the chief was right, but that didn't mean he thought Steve was wrong.

However, given the current situation, Fury's judgment and orders are more feasible.

"That bald guy is right, and Jarvis has taken over all the systems of the space carrier. If any major problems arise, he will notify us immediately."

Tony added an explanation for Fury, then manipulated the Mark armor to turn around, facing the corridor, and began charging the cannon in his palm.

"Sir, there has been an intrusion on the Helicarrier. It's the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents controlled by Loki, as well as Hydra agents."

Jarvis's voice rang out at just the right moment.

"Then go and take care of them."

Tony, wearing the Mark armor, walked straight outside, the thrusters shooting out two very short white flames from under his feet.

He slid into the corridor, skimming along the ground, and disappeared from sight after turning a corner.

Steve gritted his teeth, grabbed the vibranium shield leaning against the control panel, threaded his left arm through the inner strap, and twisted his wrist.

The edge of the shield cut through the air with a dull whistling sound.

He didn't say anything more and rushed out after Tony.

In the next room, the battle reached a fever pitch within the first few seconds.

After Thor knocked Hulk away, their bodies crashed together into the empty equipment storage room.

The moment he landed, Hulk's massive feet gripped the floor tightly.

The toes carved several grooves of varying depths into the alloy surface, forcefully bringing the flying body to a stop on the ground.

Then he raised his fists high, clenched his fingers, and slammed them down hard on Thor, who was still pressed against his chest.

With a loud bang, Thor was slammed to the ground.

He immediately spread his arms and legs and pressed them firmly against the floor.

The alloy floor beneath him, nearly half a meter thick, was dented deeply by the impact.

The crack spread several meters in all directions from the point of stress.

Fortunately, the underlying structural slab has not been completely breached.

The staff in this room had already made a judgment the moment the wall was breached.

None of them looked back a second time; they all turned and ran.

In a monster-on-monster brawl of this magnitude, there's only one outcome for the survivors: being killed by random area-of-effect attacks, and not even knowing who to seek retribution for their deaths.

Thor stood up again, stretched his numb shoulders, clenched his fists, and looked up at the green behemoth in front of him that was almost half a body taller than him.

"Give it a try."

Hulk bared his teeth, revealing a set of jagged, sharp teeth.

He spread his arms, his chest bulged, and then let out a deafening roar at Thor.

The sound waves, mixed with spittle and scorching air, gushed out from that huge mouth.

The scattered parts boxes and filing cabinets in the room were blown away, and even the fixing bolts on the walls were buzzing.

Thor took advantage of the moment when the other party opened its mouth to roar and moved.

He took two steps forward, lowered his center of gravity, and swung his right fist out from his waist. The fist drew a straight line without any extra arc and struck Hulk's chin solidly.

The force of that punch was enough to send a fully grown frost behemoth staggering back several steps.

Hulk's upper body was thrown backward, his neck stretched into a straight line.

Thor gave him no chance to regain his balance.

He landed on one foot, leaped into the air, bent his right knee to gather strength, and then kicked out hard, aiming at Hulk's stomach.

Just as the sole of his boot was about to touch those green abs, a huge green hand swept across from the side, its five fingers closing in and precisely gripping his calf.

"Hulk! Wait a minute!"
