Wizard Earl

Chapter 914 Bar

While shouting and cursing, the short, stout middle-aged man who called himself Tiger Corner pulled out a gleaming tiger-head dagger from his waist and swaggered toward Connor.

Looking at this drunken, foul-mouthed fellow, who wasn't worth O'Brien's restraint, Connor felt little anger. Instead, a pang of pity rose in his heart. This guy, even now, had no idea who he'd offended, or what kind of desperate terror awaited him...

Just as this so-called "Tiger" Cornell walked up to Connor, cursing and swearing, and was about to stab Connor, who was still sitting in his seat, Connor, disguised as a scarred man, suddenly stood up and punched him hard in the face!

"what!"

With a muffled thud of fist hitting flesh, a pig-like scream echoed from the Uncle Beckenbauer tavern. The guy who had just been brandishing a dagger and boasting that he would kill Connor was now throwing away his dagger. His large, fat hands covered Connor's bleeding nose as he staggered backward. After a few steps, he finally tripped over a chair and fell heavily to the ground.

Just as Connor was about to deliver two more punches to the short, stout middle-aged man lying on the ground, his mental energy unexpectedly detected that seven or eight burly young men dressed in black and wielding clubs and machetes seemed to have heard the news and were rushing out from behind the Uncle Lotito's bar, about to storm into the main hall of the bar where he was now.

Sensing this scene, Connor looked with interest at Cornell, who was immersed in pain. It seemed that this fat guy was actually quite something. After being beaten by him, someone still came to his rescue. It seemed that he had stumbled upon a breakthrough in finding the local H gang in Saspede through this guy named Cornell.

A dozen seconds later, the group of strong young men, armed with weapons, rushed into the bar lobby and surrounded Connor and Cornell, who was lying in a pool of blood at his feet.

Upon seeing this group, Cornell, who was lying on the ground clutching his nose and groaning, suddenly seemed to have found his backbone. While still clutching his nose, which wouldn't stop bleeding, he continued to shout furiously at Connor, "You dare hit me, Cornell! You bastard, you're dead! I'll stab you again and again..."

Seeing that the short, fat middle-aged man was already lying on the ground, yet he was still shouting and yelling, Connor's eyes flashed with impatience. He kicked the short, fat middle-aged man hard in the stomach, and the shouting man fainted from the pain.

Seeing the short, stout middle-aged man lying on the ground unconscious after being knocked out by Connor, the group of young thugs wielding sticks surrounding Connor seemed to be enraged as well. They exchanged glances, then grabbed their sticks and machetes and attacked Connor together.

These young thugs, though clearly strong and well-trained, with excellent teamwork, would be a formidable opponent even for a regular knight, let alone an ordinary person. Unfortunately for them, their current opponent is Connor Ferguson, a seasoned and experienced wizard!

Connor didn't need to use any magic at all; relying solely on his knightly skills, he knocked them all to the ground in just a few seconds with a few punches and kicks.

Seeing this unfamiliar, scarred-faced man so cleanly and efficiently deal with the thugs, the onlookers in the tavern who were waiting to see what would happen were all taken aback. Everyone looked at Connor with a hint of fear in their eyes.

Under the fearful gazes of the crowd, Connor nonchalantly wiped the blood from his palms, then prepared to drag the short, stout middle-aged man who had fainted on the ground away from the tavern. Reason told Connor that this Cornell, since he was so arrogant and could still get a group of well-trained, young and strong thugs from the tavern to rush out and save him after being knocked to the ground, was undoubtedly related to the local H gang. Moreover, it seemed that he was very likely to be a leader, but it was unclear whether he was a big boss or a small boss.

Although in his heart Connor had already sentenced this short, fat middle-aged man who dared to insult him to death, before he died, Connor felt it was still necessary to squeeze out the last bit of value from this man and do his part in finding Philo in Saspede!

Just as Connor was dragging the short, stout middle-aged man out of the bar, a tall, imposing, and imposing red-haired young man came down from the second floor and coldly said to Connor, "Put Cornell down, our boss wants to see you!"

Upon seeing the red-haired young man, who was already considered a knight, Connor, whose mental energy had already sensed someone secretly observing him from the second floor of the bar, sneered. He slowly turned around and said to the red-haired young man with a mocking tone, "Who does your boss Temo think he is? Just because he wants to see me, I'm supposed to go see him?"

Hearing the scarred man in front of him dare to insult his boss, the red-haired young man was immediately enraged. He was about to draw the short knife at his waist to give Connor a good beating, but unfortunately, before he could draw his knife, a man of average build, wearing a blue suit, with a smile and a dignified appearance, came down the stairs from the second floor of the bar and stopped the red-haired young man's actions with a slight gesture.

The onlookers surrounding Connor and the red-haired young man in the bar seemed to know who the handsome man in blue was. Fear appeared in their eyes, and they involuntarily began to back away, wanting to stay as far away from the man in blue as possible. Some of the more timid ones had even quietly slipped away from the bar.

The man in blue seemed to be the boss the red-haired young man had mentioned. Upon seeing him appear, the red-haired young man, who had been furious and ready to draw his sword against Connor just a moment ago, immediately calmed down like a mouse seeing a cat. He glared at Connor and then stood quietly beside the man in blue who had suddenly appeared.

"My name is Handanovic. May I ask your name, my friend?" The man who had suddenly appeared, De Sciglio, smiled at Connor, who was disguised as a scarred-faced giant, and then at the unconscious, short, stout middle-aged man, Corne, in Connor's hand.
