Chapter 842 "Decora" the Living Corpse

Connor thought he had been careful enough, but he never expected that old man Robbie would actually practice the legendary lich. It seemed that the incantation he had just heard about, and the bizarre act of slapping a hole in his forehead, were actually his way of transforming himself into "Decora" before he died.

The thought that Robbie, even in death, would turn into a living corpse and fight him to the bitter end filled Connor with disgust and rage.

Connor Ferguson hadn't anticipated Robbie's move. However, it seemed that Robbie had been practicing as a lich for some time while he was alive; otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to complete the transformation ritual and become a "Decora" in just a few seconds.

Just as Connor was pondering, the "Decora" zombie that Robbie had transformed into launched another frenzied attack, causing Connor's protective barrier, which had just calmed down, to tremble violently once again.

Seeing this, Connor frowned slightly. To him, Robbie, who was alive, had been killed by him. After death, Robbie turned into a living corpse without any rationality, so he had no reason to be afraid of him.

Indeed, this is true. Although the undead "Decora" has many advantages, such as superhuman strength, toxicity, and high resistance to mental and magical power, it is, after all, a corpse transformed from a dead person. It has no intelligence and can only fight based on instinct, so it is difficult for it to pose any threat to Connor.

For Connor, killing this "Decora" zombie was not difficult. Connor only needed to think and cast the Castia Magic Circle to trap it inside. Let the suppression of the magic circle and the painless and tireless Black Knight slowly wear it down. In less than twenty minutes, it would be tortured to death in the magic circle.

However, the "Decora" zombie contains corpse poison. It is not difficult to kill it in the magic circle, but if it enters the Castia magic circle, the corpse poison it contains will contaminate the Castia magic circle, although the extent of the contamination is unknown.

However, it is certain that there will be a considerable chance of affecting the Castia Staff. Connor intends to upgrade and enhance the Castia Staff to a level three enchanted item. If the existence of the "Decora" zombie causes any adverse effects on Connor's grand strategy, Connor will truly regret it.

However, without using the Castia Magic Array, Connor, as a psychic wizard, wouldn't have many effective methods against the "Decora" zombie transformed from Robelli. After all, many of Connor's methods of defeating enemies are closely related to mental power, and the "Decora" zombie, lacking a divine sea, is essentially immune to mental attacks.

Just as Connor was struggling to make a decision, the "Decora" zombie outside the barrier showed no sign of stopping. It kept using its body to attack and pound on Connor's Castilian protective barrier. Under its attacks, it looked like the Castilian protective barrier would be breached in no time.

Seeing that he still couldn't come up with a good solution, Connor had no choice but to steel himself and decide to take it one step at a time. If he delayed any longer, the Castia protective barrier would be breached, which would be a devastating blow to the Castia Staff, far more serious than being contaminated by the corpse poison.

Connor slammed his palm heavily onto Castia's staff, instantly transforming the protective barrier that had been trembling from the "Decora" zombie into a blue-black magic circle, trapping the "Decora" zombie within.

Trapped within the Castia magic circle, the hideously ugly "Decora" zombie, feeling the magic circle's suppression of it, became extremely agitated. It charged around in the black mist that filled the circle, but at this moment, its weakness as a zombie was completely exposed. It couldn't find the enemy it wanted to attack and, like a headless fly, got lost in the black mist, wasting its energy.

Sensing this situation within the Castia magic circle, Connor's lips curled into a contemptuous sneer. Robelli actually wanted to transform into something like this after death so he could fight him to the end. He was truly delusional!

With a thought from Connor, ten emotionless black warriors silently materialized within the black mist of the Castia magic circle.

Lately, because he has been facing formidable enemies who possess the ability to break through the Castile Array, Connor Ferguson hasn't used his trump card, the Castile Array, much less frequently. However, now, facing the mindless "Decora" zombie, the Castile Array comes in handy. If we disregard whether the zombie poison it carries will contaminate the Castile Array, it's safe to say that Connor can use Darth Vader to kill it in the same way it would die.

However, considering the contamination of the corpse poison, it was undoubtedly better to let the "Decora" zombie die in the Castia magic circle as soon as possible. Realizing this, a cold glint flashed in Connor's eyes. With a thought, the ten black warriors in the magic circle, who had received the order, immediately swarmed out from the black mist where they were hiding, and wielded the black chains formed from energy, and slashed at the "Decora" zombie.

Finally, the "Decora" zombie, having spotted the enemy, immediately rammed into two Black Knights, but unfortunately, there were ten Black Knights in the magic circle. Although the "Decora" zombie was individually extremely strong, it was no match for the other Black Knights controlled by Connor. The other Black Knights slashed it several times in various places, including its shoulders, back, and ankles.

After in pain, the "Decora" zombie let out a few agonizing growls. Driven by instinct, it became even more ferocious, smashing the several Dark Knights surrounding it to pieces in a few blows. Unfortunately, with Connor's abundant magical power, theoretically, the Dark Knights in the Castia magic circle were almost inexhaustible. As soon as a few Dark Knights were destroyed, new ones were condensed by Connor in the black mist of the magic circle and continued to charge towards the "Decora" zombie fearlessly.

Inside the Castia magic circle, this scene of destruction and re-reconstruction played out three times within a minute. Outside the magic circle, Connor leisurely drank a recovery potion, but inside the magic circle, the "Decora" zombie, who had been relentlessly attacked by the Black Knights without any rest, was already showing signs of exhaustion under the suppression of the magic circle and the double blow of the more than ten wounds on its body inflicted by the Black Knights. It was clear that it could not hold on for much longer.
