Chapter 626 Creating Chaos

Looking at the clock with the minute hand pointing to seven, and then glancing at the noisy crowd around the waiting room and the deserted train tracks outside, Tusam shook his head helplessly. He then leaned back in his chair, closed his eyes, and waited for the train to arrive.

Tusam knew that this situation likely meant that the train he wanted to take to Garotenia was delayed again. The train was scheduled to arrive in Kevin Town at 8:30, but there were too many things that could affect its arrival time while it was on the tracks. This unexpected situation made Connor, who was about to take action, sense something unusual. The train that Tusam was going to take was from Rune. Rune is only fifty kilometers away from Kevin Town, which is not very far. Moreover, it was morning, which is not a busy time for railway transportation. There seemed to be no reason for the train that Tusam was going to take to be delayed for such a long time!

The train was more than half an hour late, and Connor wasn't the only one who sensed something was wrong. Under Connor's gaze, Tusam, who had been sitting quietly in his chair, also kept glancing at the large clock on the wall, seemingly beginning to wonder what was going on!

Tusam's suspicion was the final push that made Connor make a decision. He decided not to wait for the train to arrive and to create chaos now to get the police to seal off the area!

Having made the decision, Connor did not hesitate and immediately pulled out a revolver from his spatial ring, pointed the muzzle in the air, and fired repeatedly!

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Although the waiting hall was noisy, the muffled gunshot of the revolver was clearly heard by every passenger in the hall. Realizing the danger, the passengers panicked and the entire waiting hall was thrown into chaos as everyone scattered like birds and beasts toward the exit.

Watching the passengers in the waiting hall panic and rush out, Connor, the instigator of it all, nodded in satisfaction. However, to amplify the panic and achieve his desired effect, Connor opened his mouth and, in a magically altered hoarse voice, snarled viciously, "Hehehehe... I'm going to kill you all!"

To match his harsh words, Connor pointed the gun in the air and fired all three remaining bullets from his revolver.

"Bang! Bang! Bang!"

Although no one was injured or killed by Connor's shooting, how many people can remain rational and clear-headed when their lives are threatened? Out of fear of death, everyone in the waiting room rushed out quickly.

Just then, Connor sensed a hidden gaze secretly observing him from among the crowd fleeing the waiting room. Without even looking, Connor knew who that gaze belonged to. An ordinary person wouldn't think much of it, but Tusam had surely seen his every move. However, this was an open scheme; even if Tusam knew he was behind it, what could he do? He could only do as Connor planned: leave Kevin Town and avoid the police's questioning.

Ignoring Tusam's gaze, Connor, having done all this, smashed the glass window of the waiting room hall under Tusam's watchful eye, then strode away across the glass, leaving the train station waiting room hall in a mess!
