Chapter 178 Interrogation and Coercion

"Oh? Is that so? Aren't you going to wait for your church, your Bishop Edel, to come and save you?" Connor said with a hint of amusement upon hearing Walker's request.

"Even if they come to rescue me, what can they do? In my current state, I can't do anything. I just want to die quickly!" Walker said with a bitter smile.

"Very well, now you finally understand your situation. I grant your request. If you satisfy me, I can consider letting you leave without any trouble!" Connor had essentially agreed to Walker's conditions. He knew what Walker meant. Walker had previously planned to wait for the church to rescue him, and then, as a soul, he would possess someone else's body to achieve the effect of resurrection.
