If you look closely at this transparent sphere of light, you can vaguely see Walker's face inside. However, the Arbitrator is no longer the same as he was at the beginning. His face in the sphere is full of resentment and fear.

The ball of light was very fast, and it rushed out of the cruise ship in an instant, trying to fly away into the distance. However, just as a look of relief appeared on Walker's face inside the ball of light, a chain flashing with mysterious runes silently arrived and wrapped around the ball of light, imprisoning it on the spot.

"Trying to escape from a psychic wizard like me? Looks like you're really desperate!" Connor said calmly, looking at the ball of light trapped by his shadow chains. With a wave of his hand, the ball of light, controlled by the shadow chains, slowly flew into Connor's hand.

"No·········"

Walker screamed in terror from inside the sphere of light. He struggled frantically like a trapped beast, trying to escape, but having lost his physical body and the Storm Hammer, he was now just a piece of meat to be slaughtered at will, and Connor could cut him however he wanted.

Grabbing the ball of light in his palm, Connor wasn't in a hurry to play with Walker. Instead, he took out a small bottle from his spatial ring and put Walker's soul ball of light inside.

After dealing with Walker, Connor looked around, feeling a slight headache. He had killed someone; how should he handle the scene and cover up his tracks?

After a moment's thought, a glint of light appeared in Connor's eyes; he had come up with a brilliant idea!

Half an hour later, a deafening roar echoed on the sea about ten miles from Greenwood Pier!

"boom!"

A fireball exploded in the bridge of a passenger ship, followed by several explosions from the steam engine connected to the bridge. In less than a minute, a medium-sized passenger ship that could carry dozens of people slowly sank into the unfathomable depths of the stormy ocean.

In the distance, Connor, the mastermind behind all this, stood on a small boat, looking at the result of his work, a mocking smile on his lips.

He had already cleaned up the passenger ship, but now, with the explosion and flooding, even if the church could find it, they would only get the wreckage.

Three days later, late at night, in his apartment at 16 Land Street, Connor, having just enjoyed a relaxing hot bath, was sitting on his soft sofa in his bathrobe, leisurely reading today's Lune Evening Post.

However, a gust of wind blew by, and the windows of Connor's apartment opened and closed silently, while a faint fragrance wafted around Connor.

"Finished?" Connor seemed oblivious to the commotion around him, his attention still focused on the newspaper in his hand, but he asked in return:

"Hmm, Connor, you did an even better job than I expected!" Margaret, who had arrived quietly, sat down on the sofa next to Connor, her alluring eyes full of admiration.

"Walker is an intermediate wizard apprentice!" Connor put away the newspaper and stared intently at Margaret. Although his tone was calm, Margaret, sitting next to him, could clearly feel the icy chill in Connor's words, as well as the faint killing intent.

"I'm sorry, I only found out afterward! I've brought you compensation!" Margaret seemed to have expected Connor's attitude. She didn't panic at all and took out a fist-sized piece of raw ore mixed with silver light spots from her spatial ring, placing it on the table between the two of them.

"Mithril ore, I believe you can extract at least ten grams of mithril from this!" Pointing to the ore, Margaret explained somewhat apologetically:

Hearing Margaret's apology, Connor's gaze swept over Margaret's compensation—a piece of mithril ore. He seemed quite interested as he picked up the mithril ore and placed it in his hand.

After fiddling with the mithril ore in his hand for a while, Connor pointed at it and said to Margaret with a half-smile, "You think this thing can make up for the deception you gave me?"

Before he could finish speaking, Connor, without waiting for Margaret to explain, suddenly lunged forward, grabbed the unsuspecting Margaret's slender, fair neck, and pinned her down.

Margaret seemed completely taken aback by her collaborator's sneak attack, and froze on the spot. Before she could react, her life was in Connor's hands. With just a slight exertion of force, this stunningly beautiful woman, Margaret, would die on the spot.

"I'll say it one last time, Walker is an intermediate wizard apprentice, and I only found out yesterday!" Although her life was in Connor's hands, Margaret's deep blue eyes showed not a trace of fear. She spoke with a hint of disappointment, enunciating each word clearly:

Instead of begging for mercy as expected, Margaret found herself in a dilemma. Having used the Soul-Capturing Technique on Walker, he naturally knew that Margaret was telling the truth: Margaret had no idea beforehand that Walker had already broken through to become an intermediate wizard apprentice.

Connor never intended to kill Margaret. If he had, he would have launched a full-scale sneak attack instead of grabbing her by the neck like he is now.

However, Connor's actions were well-thought-out; he wanted to teach Margaret a lesson and prevent her from feeling deceived, as if she could get away with something for nothing!

However, plans can't keep up with changes. Margaret didn't give in or back down, which made Connor, who wanted to find a way to back down, feel a bit tricky.

A thought flashed through Connor's mind, and he secretly made up his mind. He tightened his grip on Margaret's slender neck, causing her pale face to turn even paler. But Margaret still didn't beg for mercy. Staring into Connor's eyes, she said breathlessly, "Connor Ferguson, if you think I intend to harm you, then go ahead and do it. Dying at the hands of a bastard like you should be a relief!"

After saying this, Margaret didn't offer the slightest resistance; she closed her eyes, as if waiting for Connor to kill her...

"Damn it..." This situation, which Connor had never expected, made him feel as if a thousand mythical beasts were galloping through his mind.
