Half an hour later, Margaret had left the apartment, while Connor was still sitting on his sofa, drinking red tea and continuing to read the detective report on Mr. Emery and the Krenk family.

With the secret society removed, Connor's only collaborator was Margaret. Although it was somewhat of a stretch for him and Margaret, two intermediate wizard apprentices, to take over a magic stone mine, Connor felt that with careful planning, it was still achievable.

More importantly, with the Silver Pendant and the Castia Staff, two level-two enchanted items, Connor felt that even though Margaret had entered the intermediate wizard apprenticeship earlier than him and had more magical power, he still had a strong advantage in terms of strength. He could completely rely on his strength and information advantage to become the leader of the operation!

No matter how you look at it, the whole thing starts with the alchemy furnace. If you can't create demonized items without the alchemy furnace, then it's all nonsense!

Looking at the detective's report about Mr. Emery and the Krenk family, Connor felt a bit uneasy.
