Chapter 83 The Hunting Ground in the Mist
A thick fog inexplicably descended upon Strasbourg today, a strange occurrence for many residents. They never imagined they would witness the fog gradually spreading under the setting sun. The beautiful scene drew many to stop and watch, but soon after, almost everyone felt drowsy. They returned home, turned off non-essential electricity and gas, and went to sleep peacefully.
"That's fine. To be honest, leaving only the people who have to stay awake is still a bit too much for me..." Reed rubbed his temples. Strasbourg had now become a huge cage of mist, but that wasn't the reason the Death Eaters were coming.
What truly attracted the Death Eaters was Voldemort's distinctive magical imprint and method of communication. Summoned by Morsmordre, they learned the exact location of Voldemort's enemy, Harry Potter, in a town called Strasbourg, and the fact that Harry Potter had no protective spells and no adult wizards around him.
The fanatical Death Eaters changed direction and charged towards Strasbourg. The less fanatical Death Eaters, though suspicious that it might be a trap, also began to advance under the encouragement of the Death Eater's unique spell.
"I told you getting an extra wand was necessary, right? How's the break-in process going with your new wand?"
Red casually put the wand he had seized back, while Harry continued to work on his wand. To be honest, the wand in his hand was already working as well as possible to cooperate with Harry's spellcasting, but Harry always felt that it wasn't quite right, at least not as right as his first wand.
"Not bad, at least it won't hold us back..." Harry shook his wand, and they began to move. The thick fog twisted and transformed into one figure after another. After the fog covered Strasbourg, Red also tried to use his full strength, releasing a Transfiguration Charm at full power, which turned the fog containing a little magic into his eyes.
"Old Andrei... Old Andrei remembers, Old Andrei was once an Auror..."
To the surprise of Red and Harry, a ghost appeared on the street that should have been deserted. Andre, holding a non-existent wand, seemed to be attracted by the Death Eater's magic as well. He walked unsteadily, but his eyes were full of determination.
"Death Eaters, whatever you want to do! Andrei will protect his home, protect this city... absolutely!"
Harry was taken aback. This ghost wasn't part of their plan; this ghost, who should have been quietly residing in a small villa on the outskirts of the city, was now acting like a spirited warrior.
"What should we do?"
"Either ask him to leave, or let him join. The choice is yours."
Reid replied that he really didn't have the energy to think about Harry anymore. Reid was immersed in the joy of giving it his all, especially after discovering that his energy and magic were far stronger than he had imagined.
"I......."
Harry clenched his fist as if on cue, a gesture of faith he had made to the Colonel, and then voluntarily stepped out of their hiding place.
"Mr. Andre... I would like to ask you to help me fight against the Death Eaters, as an Auror, as a guardian of my homeland, and as a soldier."
Andrei stared blankly at Harry. He felt that Harry looked familiar but couldn't quite place him. However, there was no time to hesitate. As an Auror, he knew perfectly well that he couldn't possibly deal with a group of Death Eaters by himself.
"Okay, what do you need me to do?!"
Andrei nodded. He was aware of his current situation, but it didn't matter. He hadn't let the Death Eaters wreak havoc on Strasbourg while he was alive, and he wouldn't let them after he died.
Harry's plan was very simple, and Andre could do the easiest and safest job: attract the Death Eaters' attention from a distance and lure them into the fog, then Harry and Red would take care of the rest.
The first group of Death Eaters arrived about twenty minutes after the spell was cast. They were overjoyed to be the first Death Eaters to arrive, as they were about to rid their Dark Lord of the greatest threat and slay the well-known prophesied son.
Of course, there were also some dark wizards who were already nearby watching and waiting. If possible, they might be able to get some benefits from the Death Eaters or even Dumbledore, the headmaster of Hogwarts. Although the risk was great, the world has never lacked adventurers.
As for the dense fog, no one took it seriously. If it really was as the spell implied, then the boy named Harry had only managed to hide himself in the city using some alchemical artifact. If that was the case, then the fog was not a reliable indicator.
So the Death Eaters entered Strasbourg; they couldn't wait any longer.

"In other words..." Dumbledore's meeting with the French Ministry of Magic was actually quite uneventful, even boring. The things the French Ministry of Magic brought up were not very important to Dumbledore, until the "Reappearance of Bones" was launched into the sky.
Those in Paris couldn't see the skeleton reappear. The caster had clearly carefully adjusted the power of the spell, but unfortunately, the person in Paris was Dumbledore, the legendary "White Lord" Dumbledore. So he noticed the spell immediately. Red had given it a "special hint," and Dumbledore discovered it almost instantly.
Dumbledore had no desire to continue the conversation. He decided to head immediately toward the launch site of the resurrected skeletons, taking Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape with him.
Dumbledore looked up at the sky and vaguely sensed that the two children were not content with being ordinary and mediocre. He even suspected that Red and Harry had a kind of madness in their bones, a power that guided them to boldly and carefully plan the most insane schemes.
"It's Strasbourg... Lord Dumbledore, a thick fog has descended on Strasbourg for some unknown reason. It's said that a large number of Death Eaters are approaching there, and our personnel there have already begun to request reinforcements."
There was little further communication. Although everyone had their own thoughts, they all shared the same idea when it came to dealing with the Death Eaters.
