The Silent Bookstore Manager at Hogwarts

Chapter 21 Harry the Spear Thrower

Ron instinctively handed over the flying broomstick beside him, but then he wondered what use Harry's broomstick would be since Harry already had one.

Besides, it was Harry's first time using a flying broomstick, so there was no way he could catch up...

Ron stared blankly as Harry floated up, swaying precariously, as if he had already mastered the art of flying broomsticks, drifting steadily into the air.

"Malfoy, I'm saying this for the last time... Stop causing us trouble and just give the ball back."

Harry Potter's tone was very calm, without a trace of anger, but Malfoy felt a jolt in his heart, as if he were being stared at by some ferocious beast. However, as the young master of the Malfoy family, Draco Malfoy would never show a cowardly expression at this moment.

So he made a defiant expression, accelerated his flying broomstick, and flew even higher, looking down at Harry from above.

"Disgusting arrogance..." Harry muttered, glancing at Malfoy. He gripped the broom Ron had just given him, and to his surprise, the broom was responding to his magical control, allowing Harry to simultaneously manipulate both the broom in his hand and the one under his legs.

He didn't know if this was his own talent or a change that came about after Red described Soul Matter to him and taught him the Great Arts, but he knew that there was only one thing he could do now.

"Ron, could you get me two more brooms?!"

Harry turned and yelled at Ron on the ground, then, to everyone's astonishment, he shakily stood up from the broom, looking dangerous but feeling perfectly at ease.

"Then don't blame me, Malfoy... I'll hold back."

In "The Commandments of the Scar," knowledge and skills about throwing are revealed without reservation. Harry stands on the broom, grips the broom Ron gave him, and pushes off with his feet. Under the pull of magic, the broom steadily catches Harry's feet, making him feel as if he is standing on solid ground.

Even Harry himself hadn't expected that he could exert such a powerful and perfect force. The broom shot towards the dumbfounded Malfoy at high speed like a cannonball. If he hadn't subconsciously moved to the side, the broom might not have pierced through his robes, but instead knocked him off the broom.

Malfoy instinctively gasped for breath. Even though he hadn't done anything, he felt like he was having trouble breathing. The pressure from Harry Potter was just too intense.

"Harry!!!"

Ron's shouts from the ground pulled Harry from the feeling of his miraculous strike. He turned to look at the ground, and after seeing Harry's feat, almost everyone in Gryffindor rushed to hand their broomsticks to Ron so he could give them to Harry. Meanwhile, a few people kept an eye on the first-year Slytherin students to prevent them from harming them.

Harry waved his hand, and the two brooms in Ron's hands flew up. After discovering that he could control multiple unattended brooms, Harry used his talent without reservation. He wanted to teach Malfoy a lesson so profound that he would never dare to cause trouble again.

Malfoy was stunned. He saw Harry standing on the broom, assuming the throwing stance again, and then, with trembling hands, begin to accelerate the broom. If that last hit had actually struck him, he might have lost half his life on the Hogwarts lawn. No one expected Harry to be so crazy, completely disregarding his life or death. So Malfoy could only run, until Harry could no longer hit him.

However, the broom that Harry had initially thrown away gradually returned to his side under Harry's magical pull, and Harry watched Malfoy move at high speed.

"That's enough! That's enough! Go get it yourself if you want it!!"

Malfoy finally couldn't bear the pressure of being stared at and aimed at him. He yelled and threw the Memory Ball in his hand. To his surprise, Harry actually moved. He rushed towards the Memory Ball's landing point like an arrow, then skillfully caught it in mid-air, and then slowly returned to the ground, returning the three brooms to their owners.

"That's...that's amazing, Harry! How did you...?" Ron's lips trembled. He seemed to have truly realized the extraordinary abilities of the savior. Harry's stunt in the air undoubtedly captivated every Gryffindor freshman.

"Thank you for your trust, Ron."

Harry nodded to Ron without saying anything more. Ron's instinctive act of handing him his broom was something to be grateful for; it was an act of complete trust, and Harry felt he should reciprocate.

Ron blushed instantly. He waved his hand as if he wanted to say something, but he couldn't say anything.

Of course, the restless Gryffindors quickly quieted down, because their Headmistress, Professor McGonagall, arrived, looking at Harry, who was rubbing his face, with a cold and serious expression.

"Harry Potter... come with me."

Harry, who was initially very nervous, instantly calmed down after seeing Red following Professor McGonagall. He nodded silently and followed Professor McGonagall.

"Mr. Harry Potter, do you know how dangerous it was for you to stand up on that flying broomstick?!" Professor McGonagall looked at Harry seriously, her expression as cold as steel, but thankfully Reid gave him a look that it wasn't a big deal.

"Yes, I'm very sorry, Professor, I'm just a little angry..."

Professor McGonagall remained silent. In her opinion, Harry's talent for flying brooms, or Quidditch, was just as amazing as Red's talent for spells. Anyone who saw someone wielding three or four brooms at the same time would have the same feeling.

"Have you considered the consequences if that hit lands?"

Red and Harry walked behind McGonagall. Red asked in a low voice that Professor McGonagall didn't think Harry could hit Malfoy with his broom. In her opinion, it was just a way to vent her anger. But in Red's opinion, Harry standing on the broom was not a problem at all.

"Malfoy will fall off the broom, but I'm confident I can catch him before he hits the ground, and I can guarantee his safety."

"You're still doing these things driven by anger."

Harry nodded; it was undeniable.

"It's alright, at least you calmly calculated the consequences. I won't say anything this time. Professor McGonagall has something to discuss with you, and I need to go back to class now."

After saying this, Reid greeted Professor McGonagall and prepared to go back to his next class.
