The Silent Bookstore Manager at Hogwarts

Chapter 11 One punch shatters the pureblood soul

Red didn't care what this guy who called himself Malfoy was saying. Of course, Red did hear a few words, such as the phrase "pure-blood noble," which made Red scoff. However, he didn't interrupt this naturally extraordinary pure-blood noble's rambling. After all, the Hogwarts train wasn't some private property. If you insist on saying that, they didn't even have tickets.

Harry finally couldn't hold back after hearing Malfoy mock his parents, and Ron even stood up with Harry.

"You want to fight... Oh!!"

Malfoy didn't even realize what was happening when Harry, without a word, moved and threw a punch, quickly closing in and hitting Malfoy directly in the stomach, all while Ron was in shock.

One punch rendered him speechless, and he could only groan as he fell to the ground clutching his stomach. But Harry had no intention of stopping. Without saying a word, he raised his fist and pressed it directly onto Malfoy's body.

It was only then that Malfoy's henchmen Crabbe and Goyle realized what had happened. They never expected that wizards would encounter such an unreasonable battle, but relying on their size advantage, they were sure they could win, after all, Harry Potter did not look tall or strong.

However, just as Crabbe was about to step forward to pull Harry away and subdue him, a book called "Standard Spells: Elementary" struck his nose. The intense pain and the disorientation from the blow caused him to stagger back a step, then he felt a blow to his stomach, followed by an even harder one. Then, the book "Standard Spells: Elementary" slapped him across the face again. This time, however, Reid clearly realized that hitting a child's weakness might not be a good thing, so he simply slapped him hard across the face with the cover, knocking him to the ground.

"You need to be quick and accurate... don't you agree?"

Ron and Hermione nodded subconsciously, then realized that it was Red who was speaking. His fighting style didn't look like that of a wizard at all, but more like that of a thug. However, in such a narrow space, for these young wizards who hadn't even finished their studies, fists might indeed be more effective than magic.

Goyle watched his companion being instantly defeated and nervously looked at Red, but out of loyalty to Malfoy, he did not turn and run. Instead, he trembled and assumed an attacking stance towards Red.

"Commendable courage, I like it."

Red put down his book, expressed his praise, and then stood in front of Harry. At this moment, Harry had already held Malfoy down tightly and was speaking through gritted teeth.

"I apologize for your disrespect towards my parents!"

A fist struck Malfoy near the ear, making an unpleasant sound as it hit the hard train floor. Harry's anger exceeded Malfoy's tone; he didn't understand what had happened, but for his own life's sake, he felt he should apologize.

"I...I apologize for what I said."

The apology sounded forced, but Harry didn't pursue it further. He was simply venting his frustration about his origins. He missed his father and mother, especially when he had been bullied in the past.

"Alright, now that it's over, big guy, why don't you pull your companion away? We're all small and weak, we can't carry yours."

Red pointed to Crabbe lying on the ground. He had almost anticipated every move Goyle made, as if Goyle had become a puppet for his performance. The "Observation of Dawn" allowed him to see through the actions of these peers and even predict what they would do next with great ease.

"you........"

Malfoy and Goyle eventually dragged Crabbe, who was knocked to the ground and unable to get up, away. Even so, Malfoy still wanted to turn back and say something harsh, but when he saw Harry's silent and sharp eyes, he choked and couldn't say anything. He could only glare at them and then leave angrily.

"Are all people at Hogwarts like this?"

Red spoke first, almost catching Ron off guard. He never expected that the quietest classmate would be the most ruthless.

"No, everyone seems pretty friendly, except for people like Malfoy..."

"How could you... fight in a place like this? It will get you in trouble with the school..." Hermione was a little at a loss. Although Malfoy's words were indeed very harsh, Harry's act of striking first could very well have violated the school's rules.

"It doesn't matter..." Harry wiped his fist and sat back down. He seemed to be a little sad because Malfoy's words reminded him of his parents.

"Ah, don't worry... I guess the school won't care about this kind of thing. They don't have any injuries, who's going to testify for them?"

Red sat back down nonchalantly and then looked at Harry.

You should still remember what I said, right?

"Yes, I'm so sorry... I think I messed up."

The Scars' Commandments is a complete set of practices, the most important of which requires practitioners to maintain a calm and peaceful mind. Harry's anger just now was inappropriate and even very foolish, but Red only started to say these things after helping him clean up the mess, which made Harry feel somewhat ashamed.

"No, no need to apologize. It's only human nature. We stay calm to perform better, not to become cold-blooded madmen. The Colonel would probably say the same thing. Of course, Harry, you need to learn to become a seasoned hunter, a soldier... a chess player."

Red spoke these words in Latin, so Hermione and Ron could barely understand them, but seeing Harry's enlightened expression, they were curious about what he had said.

"Well, you'd better get ready to change into robes, we seem to be almost there."

As the scenery outside the window gradually darkened, Hermione realized they seemed to be nearing their destination, so she kindly reminded them before leading Neville out of the carriage.

"Yeah, that's true..."

Red readily complied, took his luggage from the luggage rack, and changed into his robe. To be honest, the fabric of the robe was worth its price.

"Hogwarts... Hopefully, it will bring us some new surprises."

Harry nodded as Red spoke, and then, after the horn sounded, he got off the train with his luggage.

"Alright, first graders, this way, hurry up!"

A tall man shouted at them, the beam of light emanating from his hand drawing everyone's attention.

"Come with me, let's get on the boat."
