Witch Training Manual: My Water Magic Is Wrong

Chapter 103 Lulu ran away, and the zombies came out.

Just then, the two people at the top of the slope switched places.

Lulu went around behind him, took a thin strip of tree trunk from under his feet, and wrapped it around him.

"Wilford, don't move."

Wilford gave a sullen reply.

Mayfair looked away and gazed elsewhere.

It's not peaceful anywhere else either.

She stared at the old oak tree at the top of the hill, her brow furrowing deeper and deeper. There was a device she had planted there the day before.

Mayfair's expression changed.

Wayne noticed.

"What's wrong?"

Mayfair did not answer immediately.

Something was originally hidden in that crevice.

That thing is gone now.

To be precise, it was crushed.

Things started to spiral out of control.

Mayfair's voice was squeezed out through clenched teeth.

"The device I left under the tree... got stepped on."

"What device?"

Mayfair did not answer immediately.

The pop-up panel explained everything.

[North Slope Cemetery - Announcement]

[Mayfair device: Damaged.]

[Device Properties: The built-in potion formula is "Breath of Lust," concocted by Mayfair herself. Raw materials include: Bewitching pollen, sap of the Undead Grass, and a wisp of deathly aura extracted from her own body. Original Intended Use: To induce a state of "confusion" in the surrounding undead during the subjugation of the Guardian Corpse, reducing their aggression and making them easier to defeat one by one, especially you.]

[Note: This potion works on both the undead and humans. Mayfair specifically enhanced its effects on humans in its design because you are her target. Now, this "enhancement" has become a problem; the undead are more sensitive, react faster, and the potion's effects are more intense than those of humans.]

[Note 2: If Wilford can finish and leave within fifteen minutes, she still has a chance to regain control of the situation before the undead uprising. She's praying. Praying that Wilford isn't in good form today, praying he'll hurry, and praying that Lulu won't be too dedicated.]

[P.S.: She had never so desperately wanted a man to ejaculate so early. If Wilford didn't finish in time, the walkers would crawl out from all over the graveyard. They wouldn't attack, but they would...do other things. Then the entire graveyard would become a giant... Mayfair didn't dare think about it.]

The moon is still hanging in the sky.

The sounds from the top of the hill suddenly stopped.

Lulu froze.

A hand appeared at her feet.

The hand emerged from the mud, its five fingers spread wide, the nails filled with black mud. The moonlight shone on the back of the hand, revealing a bluish-gray skin, like a piece of cloth that had been soaking in water for a long time.

Lulu glanced down.

Her scream rang out from the top of the hill, and she was thrown back two steps, her belt slipping from her hand.

She tried to run, but her feet slipped on the grass, her knees hit a grave mound, she got up and slipped again, got up again, and tumbled down the slope.

She wasn't wearing any clothes.

She wasn't wearing any clothes.

A white figure ran down from the top of the slope.

"A ghost! A ghost! Help!"

The sound faded into the distance.

Wilford was still kneeling at the top of the hill.

He was blindfolded and couldn't see what was happening. But he heard Lulu scream, heard her footsteps, and heard her voice fading into the distance.

Then, Wilford's voice rang out.

"Lulu?"

"Lulu?"

"Lulu, are you still there?"

No one answered.

"Lulu?"

"Don't scare me."

"Say something!"

The wind carried away his voice.

Wilford's voice began to tremble; he was bound and could not see anything outside.

"Lulu...are you still there?"

"If you're here, move."

"You can stay still, just say something."

No one said a word.

"Lulu?"

"Lulu, don't go!"

"I'm all alone... I'm scared."

Mayfair stood on the hillside, her gaze shifting from the top to the old oak tree at the top.

Her expression changed.

"Mr. Wayne."

"Um."

"that……"

"What's wrong?"

Mayfair raised her hand and pointed towards the top of the hill.

It looks like something is crawling out from underground.

The soil was loosening, the wild grass was bending, and something grayish-white emerged from the shadows—first a hand, then an arm, then a shoulder.

It's a walking corpse.

Wilford was still shouting.

"Lulu?"

"Say something!"

"I'm getting angry if you don't say anything."

"I'm really angry."

"I'll count to three."

"one."

"two."

"..."

He sensed it before he could even count to three.

There's something behind me.

"Lulu...?"

The zombies crawled completely out of the ground.

It stood up, and the moonlight shone on it.

It was a female zombie.

Judging from her figure, she must have been a woman with a good figure in life. Most of her clothes were tattered, revealing her grayish-white skin, with pieces hanging haphazardly from her body.

Wilford was still trembling.

"Who?"

"Who's there?"

"Say something!"

The female zombie did not speak.

It took a step forward.

My feet rustled softly on the grass.

Wilford heard it.

His body tensed up.

"Don't come any closer..."

"I...I have money."

"I'll give you whatever amount of money you want."

Wayne stood on the hillside, watching the female zombie's movements, his hand already resting on the scroll at his waist.

Mayfair held his hand down.

"Wait a moment."

"What are you waiting for?"

"It is not aggressive."

Wayne glanced at her.

Are you sure?

Mayfair stared at the female zombie for two breaths.

"I'm sure," she said. "She's... curious."

"curious?"

"She hasn't seen a living person in a long time, especially not one dressed like this...

Wilford was trembling.

"Lulu? Is that you?"

"Your hands...why are they so cold?"

The female zombie did not answer.

It put its fingers on Wilford's neck.

Wilford's breathing became heavy.

"Lulu...did you change your method?"

The female zombie paused for a moment.

Then continue.

That's right! The story of the dead and humans—this is the first recorded instance of human observation in the Kingdom of Wiggins.

Wilford's voice came from the top of the hill.

"Lulu...why are you so cold today?"

Why aren't you saying anything, Lulu?

[Wilford - Current Status]

He thought Lulu had changed her method. Actually, he himself couldn't tell whether she had changed it or not.

[Note: He was the first human in the Wiggins Kingdom to be served by a zombie, a title that will forever belong to him. What he didn't know was that the female zombie was a veteran of Turquoise Street, with twenty years of experience.]

[Also: Although her soul was incomplete, she was still pondering a question. Why, after so many years of death, hadn't her skills become rusty? The answer is: some things are etched into muscle memory, things that even death cannot take away.]

Wayne looked away.

It's not that I'm embarrassed, it's that I don't know where to look.

Watching zombies? Not appropriate.

Visiting the town mayor? That's even less appropriate.

Looking at the moon? The moon is quite round, though.

He decided to look at the moon.

Two more minutes passed.

Wayne and Mayfair exchanged a glance.

Mayfair's expression was complicated.

She is a necromancer and has been studying the undead for five years, but this is not part of her research.

"Mr. Wayne."

"Um."

"Should we...do something?"

Wayne thought for a moment.

"for example?"

Mayfair opened her mouth, then closed it again.

She couldn't figure it out.

It's impossible for him to walk over, pull the female zombie away, and then remove Wilford's blindfold and say:

"Good evening, Mayor. Are you here to see the moon too?"

The image of Mayfair flashed through my mind.

Her expression became even more complicated.

"Never mind," she said.

"Hmm," Wayne said.

The two remained standing.

The moonlight continued to shine.

The sound from the top of the hill continued to drift.
