Dragon Ball: My power level has been maxed out!
Chapter 52 No way! Absolutely not!
"Hatching eggs?" Gohan was a little confused and blinked twice.
Upon closer inspection, Gohan discovered that there was an egg under Krillin's stomach.
The eggshell is milky white with a smooth surface and a full, rounded oval shape.
An egg, about the size of an ostrich egg, was nestled securely in the grass beneath Klin.
"Uncle Krillin, where did this egg come from?" Gohan asked, puzzled, squatting down and looking at the eggshell.
"This..." Klin hesitated, his lips twitching slightly.
His gaze swept across Son Gohan's face.
Judging from Gohan's expression, he probably doesn't know that I laid the egg.
Should I tell him?
Klin's eyes darted around.
It's a bit unbelievable that a man like me would poop out an egg...
"I found it on the road." Klin smiled awkwardly, got up from the ground, and brushed the grass clippings off his clothes. "Let's see if it can hatch."
"Uncle Krillin," Gohan said with a wry smile, resting his hands on his knees, "Incubating eggs requires a constant temperature, right? It's very difficult for a person to hatch an egg! If Uncle Krillin really wants to incubate an egg, why don't you take it back and let Miss Bulma find an incubator?"
Krillin silently watched Gohan, his gaze lingering on his face for several seconds, and suddenly realized that what he said made a lot of sense.
Klin rubbed his chin twice with his fingers.
After all, this egg is a bit big, and it wouldn't be appropriate to always hold it in your arms.
He has difficulty moving around and is also distracted during fights.
Bringing it back to Earth and having Bulma find an incubator... might actually work.
"We'll do it your way!" Klin nodded, clenching his fist in front of him.
He looked around, his gaze sweeping from the mountainside to the ground, and then back again.
"But we can't just leave this egg here; it'll be a problem if it spoils!"
There was something Klin didn't say.
This is my own son!
It's so inappropriate to leave it here!
His gaze fell on the eggshell, lingered for a second, and then quickly looked away.
"How about burying it in the ground?" Son Gohan suggested, pointing his finger at the ground.
"That makes sense!" Klin nodded.
Immediately, the two squatted down and dug a hole in the ground with their hands.
The soil was soft, and blue grass roots snapped between my fingers.
After the pit was dug, Klin carefully picked up the egg, cradled the shell in both hands, and gently placed it into the pit.
Then the two pushed the soil back and buried the egg underground.
The ground was flattened and covered with a layer of grass, making it look no different from its surroundings.
After this period of rest, Klin's weakness has significantly lessened.
He stood up from the ground, stretched his shoulders, and his breathing became steady.
"Gohan, where are Goku and the others?" Krillin asked, looking up at the sky.
"Dad and the others went to find the Dragon Balls," Gohan said truthfully, pointing to the distant sky. "They told us to stay here, saying it's safer here."
"Your father is right." Klin nodded, feeling a surge of emotion and a warm feeling welling up in his chest.
The two then sat down there and waited patiently.
Klin leaned against a rock, arms crossed, his gaze fixed on the distant sky.
Son Gohan sat next to him, legs together, hands on his knees, occasionally turning his head to look around.
After waiting for a while, Krillin and Gohan became increasingly bored.
Son Gohan picked up a blade of grass, wrapped it around his finger twice, and then put it down.
Klin yawned, his eyelids starting to droop.
After all, there isn't even a place to play on Namek.
Apart from the blue lawn, there were only trees and lake water; not even an insect could be seen.
"Uncle Krillin, are we just going to wait here?" Gohan asked, a slight twitch at the corner of his mouth, tilting his head to look at Krillin. "Shouldn't we do something?"
Klin: "..."
Klin's eyelids twitched, and the corner of his mouth twitched.
I'd rather use this time to continue incubating the eggs.
Klin's gaze unconsciously drifted to the spot where the eggs were buried; the disturbed soil was particularly conspicuous in the sunlight.
His lips moved slightly, then closed again.
Just as Krillin was about to say that he wanted to continue incubating the eggs.
Suddenly, the auras in the distance seemed increasingly strange.
The oppressive force surged from the north, sweeping across the land like a tide, carrying a chilling coldness.
Klin sat bolt upright, his brows furrowed.
"Is that Frieza's aura over there?" Krillin pointed in that direction, his hands trembling slightly.
"Yes...yes." Gohan nodded, his little face tense. "Besides Frieza and the others, there were a few other people...were they Namekians?"
"They really are looking for the Dragon Balls!" Krillin said in a deep voice, his fists clenching unconsciously.
"Won't Frieza kill all those Namekians?" Gohan asked worriedly, clenching his fists and gritting his teeth. "No, I have to go check it out!"
Klin was startled; his lips twitched violently, and cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
His Adam's apple bobbed, unsure of where to begin offering words of comfort.
Wukong left us here for our safety.
You're something else, you actually want to go and take a look!
That's Frieza, after all.
Emperor of the Universe!
They could be crushed with a single finger.
"No! Absolutely not!" Klin resolutely refused, crossing his arms in front of him, his voice rising, "With the two of us, going there would be suicide!"
"We'll just go take a look," Gohan suggested, his gaze resolute. "We'll conceal our presence; we shouldn't be detected!"
"Alright then." Klin hesitated for several seconds before finally nodding, tapping his knee twice. "Just going to take a look, and whatever you do, don't do anything rash!"
"Yes!" Son Gohan nodded solemnly, tapping his chin hard.
The two had already concealed their presence and were running quickly in the direction of Frieza.
Their steps were light, their backs bent, their bodies pressed against the shadows of the rocks and bushes.
Their breaths were held back as if they were two lifeless stones, with only the soft rustling of their footsteps on the lawn.
Before long, the two were getting closer and closer to Frieza's location.
The oppressive force grew heavier and heavier, like a mountain pressing down on one's chest.
Krillin's breathing became rapid, and beads of sweat appeared on Gohan's forehead.
"It's right below that cliff!" Krillin pointed to the cliff ahead, crouching low, his voice hushed. "Such a powerful aura!"
His eyes widened, his pupils reflecting the distant area shrouded in oppressive aura.
Son Gohan was so frightened that his heart pounded in his chest, feeling like it was about to jump out of his chest.
He also crouched down as he moved forward, his steps even lighter than Klin's.
The two lay prone on the edge of the cliff, their bodies pressed against the rocks, with only half of their heads showing, looking down.
Soon, the two noticed a group of people led by Frieza.
Frieza sat in the stroller, half a meter off the ground, with her arms crossed over her chest.
A faint smile played on his lips as his gaze swept over the Namekians as if they were lambs to the slaughter.
