Chapter 21 Miss Bulma, squeeze in with Solo
"Really?" Sun Wukong was both surprised and delighted, his eyes lighting up. "Is it really possible?"
"Thank you, Solo." Klin was extremely excited, clenching his fists in front of him.
"You've really been a great help, Zoro," Sun Wukong quickly thanked him.
"It's nothing," Solo smiled slightly and waved his hand. "I was just saying what I knew."
"Great!" Klin rubbed his hands together, his fingers kneading, his face beaming with anticipation. "Maybe the dumplings can be brought back to life!"
"Sigh!" Bulma sighed softly, slowly shook her head, and crossed her arms. "Outsiders are so naive! How could this possibly be possible?"
"Why do you say that, Miss Bulma?" Krillin asked, tilting his head in confusion.
"Krillin, let me ask you first," Bulma turned to Krillin, looking directly at him, "Do you know where Namek is?"
"Huh?" Klin was speechless for a moment, opened his mouth, and then closed it again.
"It's alright." Solo smiled, his tone relaxed. "I know! My spaceship has the coordinates of Namek."
"Huh? Really?" Bulma also got excited, her eyes lighting up.
"But... Solo." Krillin, remembering how small Solo's spaceship was, quickly asked, his brow furrowed, "Can your spaceship only seat one person?"
"There's barely enough room for two people!" Solo mused, tapping his chin with his finger.
"That's great!" Krillin's eyes lit up, and he immediately suggested with an excited smile, "Miss Bulma, why don't you squeeze in with Solo and go to Namek?"
Bulma: "..."
Bulma's face flushed red, from her neck all the way to her ears. She opened her mouth, then closed it again.
Solo gave Klin a long look.
His gaze lingered on Klin's face for two seconds.
That kid's got something!
Let me and Bulma squeeze into that cramped spaceship.
At that spaceship's speed, it would take at least a week to reach Namek.
What should Bulma and I do on that spaceship?
Solo's lips curled up slightly, then quickly fell back down.
At this moment, Solo even began to miss the 100 cat-eared beauties on Planet Arantis.
What are they doing now?
Have you missed me?
"What nonsense are you talking about!" Bulma stomped her foot angrily, making a "thud" sound as her foot hit the metal floor.
She glared at Klin with annoyance, her eyes practically spitting fire.
"There's nothing we can do about it," Klin sighed, spreading his hands. "We can't just let Solo go alone; it would be such a waste if one of our comrades died... That wouldn't be right."
He paused, his gaze sweeping back and forth between Bulma and Solo.
"So it would be perfect to have Miss Bulma go with Soro."
"I want to go see Namek too!" Goku scratched his head, looking expectant with bright, sparkling eyes.
"If we're going to Namek," Piccolo said in a deep voice, arms crossed, his gaze resolute, "I'm going too!"
"That spaceship..." Klin rubbed his bald head, his fingers kneading his scalp. "It can't hold that many people, can it?"
Bulma took a deep breath and calmed herself down.
She looked at Solo with tenderness and suggested softly, "Solo, could you modify your spaceship? After the modification, I think it would be fine for all of us to go. It would only take two months to complete the modification!"
"Okay, no problem." Solo nodded, readily agreeing with a smile on his face.
"Bulma," Goku quickly asked, "Since we're modifying the spaceship, could you add a gravity training device for me?"
"Gravity training?" Bulma was taken aback and tilted her head.
"Simply put, it's about being able to adjust gravity," Sun Wukong explained, gesturing with his hands. "I trained with King Kai, whose planet has 10 times the gravity of Earth, which is why my strength has increased so much."
He paused, his gaze hardening.
"It must take a very long time to get to Namek from here, right? I can't just sit around doing nothing. I want to become stronger!"
"Solo," Krillin asked, "do you know how long it takes to get to Namek from here?"
"About seven days," Solo replied calmly.
"Can we add gravity training?" Sun Wukong asked expectantly, his eyes shining.
"How much gravity do you need?" Bulma asked, tapping her chin with her finger.
"At least 100 times the gravity of Earth!" Sun Wukong thought for a moment, then stated his request, clenching his fist.
"100 times gravity!" Bulma nodded, her gaze turning serious. "Alright! That should be fine!"
……
Twenty minutes later.
The airship landed in Bulma's yard.
"Creak!"
The hatch opened, and white mist gushed out from the gaps.
Before this, Bulma had already called her parents and asked them to prepare a sumptuous meal.
Solo stepped out of the cabin and his feet landed on the soft grass.
He took a deep breath; the air was filled with the scent of flowers and grass.
Bulma's mansion was very large, even more magnificent than his palace on the planet Arantis.
The lawn was neatly trimmed, and the fountain shimmered with golden light in the setting sun.
"This way!" Bulma walked ahead, her steps light, and turned back to wave to Solo.
The group walked through the courtyard and into the restaurant.
The dining table was laden with all sorts of dishes.
The table was laden with barbecue, stew, salad, soup, fruit, dessert...
Steaming hot, with a wonderful aroma.
Solo didn't stand on ceremony and joined in the delicious meal.
After taking a few bites of Earth's food, Solo was immediately moved to tears.
Two lines of tears slid down her cheeks and dripped onto the dining table.
Sun Wukong was startled. With half a chicken leg still stuffed in his mouth, he asked indistinctly, "Zoro? What's wrong with you?"
Klin was stunned, his chopsticks hanging in mid-air.
Bulma put down her bowl and looked at Solo with concern.
"It's nothing." Solo sniffed, wiped his tears with the back of his hand, and said in a slightly trembling voice, "It was so delicious."
The planet Arantis is smaller than Earth, only about the size of Mars.
The above-mentioned crops are relatively scarce.
There weren't even potatoes or sweet potatoes, let alone tomatoes.
There's no cumin or chili yet.
Solo didn't enjoy his barbecue very much.
Having lived there for twenty-five years, he had almost forgotten what those flavors tasted like.
This is actually why he hates Vegeta and Nappa so much.
The planet is wonderful, but it lacks many of the delicious foods it should have.
Seafood is the one thing that's never lacking on this planet.
Various kinds of hairy crabs, prawns, abalone, sea cucumbers, and more...
However, you'll definitely get tired of eating seafood every day.
Solo ate abalone, in particular, quite a lot.
