Chapter 77 Tianze's New Biological Weapon Test
In the northern part of the magical world, in a certain elven kingdom.
Just as depicted in movies, TV series, and animations, the kingdom of the elves is built against the mountains and by the water, with elegant and beautiful houses.
But at this moment, the entire kingdom was in chaos.
Elven civilians fled in panic, carrying their families. Elven soldiers either hurriedly maintained order and directed the evacuation or hastily formed ranks to prepare for battle. The high-ranking elven wizards, seated atop the tower, managed to steady themselves and gripped their staffs tightly.
Everyone's eyes were filled with extreme fear, as if facing a formidable enemy.
Under their watchful eyes, figures emerged along the border.
Those were hundreds and thousands of giants.
From height and weight to facial features, from body structure to muscle density, all the giants were exactly the same, without any difference, as if they were all made from the same mold on an assembly line.
Even more terrifying is that their muscles are extremely exaggerated and developed, and their vital organs such as the head, throat, heart, and joints are covered with thick armor.
Behind the giant, a group of silver-white mobile cities slowly drove up.
On the deck of the leading city, a human who looked like an executive spoke leisurely with his hands behind his back.
"Come on, let's see how powerful this newly developed melee biological weapon is."
As soon as the words were spoken, all the giants stepped forward in unison and launched a mighty charge.
The earth trembled violently beneath their feet, and billowing dust filled the air, obscuring the sky.
The elves panicked and opened fire, unleashing a barrage of enchanted arrows and a furious barrage of enchanted cannons. This intense firepower, though momentarily overwhelming the giants, had little effect.
The latter demonstrated unimaginable defensive and regenerative capabilities; artillery fire at most left them with minor wounds, which they quickly recovered from.
"Magic! Use magic quickly!" an elven soldier cried out in panic, his voice so shrill it was almost tearing his throat.
A word to awaken the dreamer.
Not only the high-ranking elven wizards in the tower, but also the elven civilians and soldiers began chanting spells.
City walls, towers, houses, streets... In an instant, hundreds and thousands of spells emerged from all directions, converging into a mighty torrent that swept towards the giants.
But unexpectedly, something strange suddenly appeared in the sky.
One by one, bizarre creatures, resembling giant jellyfish, slowly emerged from the clouds, absorbing all the magic. Many of the giant jellyfish even let out a satisfied burp.
This scene stunned all the elves.
If you look closely, you'll see a line of tiny numbers clearly printed on the edge of the bell-shaped caps of these giant jellyfish.
"Bioweapon F90, Grade: S, Type: Anti-magic, Gene Source: Anti-magic World."
And so, to the elves' astonishment, the giants surged into the kingdom like a flood.
They don't need any weapons at all; with their enormous and imposing size, a mere charge would be a devastating attack.
Under the onslaught of the giants, the kingdom's solid and thick walls collapsed in an instant, thousands of elven soldiers in formation were wiped out, and houses and buildings along the way were smashed and trampled flat.
In just a few moments, this tranquil and beautiful country was almost razed to the ground.
During this time, the elves tried to unleash magic to retaliate again, but the giant jellyfish that slowly drifted over absorbed all their spells—they had become the giants' protective shield.
After the charge, the giants unleashed a massacre. What's chilling is that they were not mindless war machines; they could think, cooperate, and adjust their tactics.
Some giants were responsible for crushing the enemy head-on, some for flanking them, and some for hunting down the elven generals who were still trying to organize a counterattack.
The elves were instantly killed or wounded in large numbers; corpses piled up in the streets, and blood stained the streams red.
The group of mobile cities slowly sailed over, and the supervisors and colleagues on the deck observed and recorded on their tablets.
"This latest P73 biological weapon looks pretty good; it should be rated A-level," someone said, their tone as calm as if they were evaluating a new machine's performance. "But its turning speed is a bit slow; we'll have to adjust the muscle density in its waist and legs when we get back."
"Rank A?" Another colleague shook his head. "Don't forget that this time P73 has F90 assisting them. Otherwise, they would be restricted by magic, and their combat power would be greatly reduced."
"Don't be too demanding of the new products. After all, they've only just been developed, and there's still a lot of room for improvement," the supervisor said slowly. "Even so, they probably won't reach the level of the F90. After all, every single one of the S-class is a monster."
"By the way, should we collect the genes of the elves along the way?" someone suggested.
The supervisor shook his head.
"Forget it, it's just an ordinary long-lived species, nothing special. Besides, haven't we already collected a lot of genes from long-lived species?"
Then he sighed again.
"This world has a vast array of life forms, but truly amazing genes are incredibly rare. Damn it... I have to stay in this boring world for three months!"
The colleagues exchanged glances and nodded in agreement.
Just then, someone suddenly realized something and immediately spoke up.
"By the way, Boss, the existence of gods in this world has been confirmed. What's the order from above? Should we capture them or not?"
"Yes!" someone echoed excitedly. "With our current setup, Tianze won't suffer the same crippling losses as before."
The supervisor yawned and stretched listlessly.
"I'm sorry, gentlemen, but I'm afraid I'll have to spoil your fun this time," he said lazily, his tone tinged with helplessness. "The higher-ups have already reached an agreement with the Pantheon; the gods of this world belong to them, and we, the Celestial Chosen, cannot interfere."
Everyone was taken aback, and then a chorus of sighs followed.
Just then, the tablet in the supervisor's hand suddenly lit up, displaying an emergency communication icon from higher management.
He glanced at it suspiciously, then swiped to answer the call.
"It's me. How can I help you?"
As he listened, his eyes gradually brightened, his initial disappointment vanished, and he even became eager to try.
"Oh...oh...I see, I understand." He nodded repeatedly as he listened.
After the call ended, everyone immediately gathered around.
"What's going on? Has the organization asked for another job?" someone asked.
"This time, we're not asked to do any work."
The supervisor smiled slightly, his tone tinged with amusement.
"It's truly unexpected that human civilization has encountered another peer."
