Magical Girl Fan Bingbing

Chapter 7 Holy crap! Ice?!

Leng Qiaoqiao didn't keep Jiang Ran waiting for long.

Perhaps she herself was too short of money, so she took this matter very seriously. Just two days later, Jiang Ran received a message from her.

The message was brief, accompanied by an address and a few photos.

Jiang Ran clicked on the address and glanced at it. It was in a parking lot in the north of the city, which was very far from where the two of them lived, separated by most of Tianhai City.

Leng Qiaoqiao followed up with a few more messages:

"Teacher Jiang, cooking takes a lot of energy and time. You'd better ask the school for leave or find a reason."

"In short, it's best not to let your family know."

"Try to keep a low profile on your way here, and don't wear your usual clothes."

Jiang Ran looked at the series of instructions and her lips twitched slightly.

These reminders are actually unnecessary.

As a physical education teacher, Jiang Ran's presence at school is practically nonexistent. He doesn't have many classes, and even when he does, other subject teachers often take over his classes under various pretexts such as "Teacher Jiang is not feeling well." Over time, his physical education classes seem to have become a self-study period that can be requisitioned at will.

Jiang Ran never refuted this, because there was no point in refutating it. In the eyes of the school leaders, physical education teachers were not as good as those main subject teachers who taught magic theory.

As for his family, after sending his daughter back to Song Mingyue, he was all alone at home.

After confirming the message, Jiang Ran got up and went to the wardrobe in the bedroom. She took out a piece of clothing that she didn't usually wear from the bottom and stuffed it into a black sports backpack.

He then went downstairs, started the secondhand car that, as usual, coughed twice before starting, and drove towards the north of the city.

The journey was long, crossing most of Tianhai City. Instead of driving directly to the parking lot, Jiang Ran parked the car in the underground parking garage of a nearby shopping mall.

He walked into the mall with his backpack, found a public restroom in a corner, locked the stall door, and took out the clothes from his bag.

A hooded oversized hoodie, dark trousers, and a plain black face mask.

After changing, Jiang Ran glanced at himself in the bathroom mirror. His hood was pulled down, his face was covered by a mask, and his entire figure was submerged in the large clothes, which basically concealed his personal features completely.

The person in the mirror looks like an ordinary passerby.

Jiang Ran stuffed the clothes she had changed out of back into her backpack, lowered her head, and walked out of the mall.

From the mall to the parking lot Leng Qiaoqiao mentioned, it was about a five-minute walk. Jiang Ran deliberately chose a side road with more blind spots in the surveillance cameras and walked there at a leisurely pace.

Based on the photos sent by Leng Qiaoqiao, Jiang Ran quickly found the RV in a corner of the parking lot.

This is a huge hybrid RV with a white body and a row of solar panels on the roof. From the outside, it looks no different from the RVs that retired couples drive on road trips, and it is not particularly eye-catching.

Jiang Ran walked to the car and knocked on the door.

There was a two-second silence inside before the car door opened a crack, and a pair of amber eyes peered out warily through the gap.

After seeing the person's face clearly, Leng Qiaoqiao quickly widened the door and pulled Jiang Ran into the car. She then neatly closed the car door and locked it.

"How about it? Not bad, right?"

Leng Qiaoqiao sat cross-legged on the sofa in the carriage, a bag of potato chips on her knees, and chewing on something, looking very comfortable.

She bought the car from a friend in the underworld. Recently, Tianhai City has been cracking down on crime, and that friend didn't dare to show his face. He was in a hurry to get rid of the car, so he sold it to Leng Qiaoqiao at a discounted price.

The vehicle is fully equipped and well-maintained, and can be put into operation immediately.

Jiang Ran turned around and began to examine the interior structure of the RV.

The front part is a rest area connected to the driver's cab. It is not a large space, but it is fully equipped with a sofa, a folding bed, a small sink, and even a microwave oven tucked in the corner.

The rear section is separated by a metal partition door, and through the small window in the door, you can see that it is filled with a huge industrial-grade freezer and all sorts of equipment that I can't name.

Jiang Ran pushed open the partition door and went inside, then opened the freezer lid.

White, cold air surged out, containing half the corpse of a Black Iron-level magical beast.

It wasn't large, and its grayish-brown fur still retained the dull luster unique to the dissipation of magic. Given the current crackdown, Jiang Ran didn't ask where this half-corgi came from.

After all, in theory, only official departments are allowed to enter the war zone to handle the aftermath after a magical girl kills a monster, and the monster's corpse is naturally kept or destroyed by the authorities.

But theory is theory, and reality is reality.

The reality is that the corpse ended up in the hands of Jiang Ran and Leng Qiaoqiao.

"I don't have a driver's license yet, so I'll leave the driving to you, Teacher Jiang." Leng Qiaoqiao took a car key out of her pocket and tossed it over.

Jiang Ran took the key, got into the driver's seat, sat down, inserted the key, and started the engine.

The hybrid engine was almost silent, the instrument panel lit up with a soft blue light, it was an automatic, the steering wheel felt good, and the handling was much better than his old commuter car.

Jiang Ran smoothly drove the RV out of the parking lot.

"Where do we go now?" Jiang Ran asked, glancing in the rearview mirror.

Leng Qiaoqiao had already moved from the back to the passenger seat. She took out her phone, opened the navigation, swiped her finger across the map a few times, and tapped a location.

"Let's choose this one, it's right next to the lower reaches of the North Second River."

She held her phone up to Jiang Ran and waved it; the screen showed a remote section of a river in the suburbs.

"This river flows into a major river downstream and then into the sea. We just throw the monster corpses we've used up into the river to feed the fish, and nobody will notice."

Jiang Ran glanced at it, quickly assessed the location in her mind, and found that it was indeed a good choice.

It seems that although Leng Qiaoqiao is not very old, she has been in this industry for so long and has a lot of experience.

After the car left the city, the buildings on both sides of the road gradually became sparse. Jiang Ran followed the navigation for nearly forty minutes and finally stopped at the end of a muddy road.

Jiang Ran turned off the engine, got out of the car, and looked around.

Nearby is a small grove of trees, not very dense, but enough to block the view from the outside. A few dozen meters past the grove is the riverbank. The junction between the river and the bank is very steep, and the turbid water rushes and churns below, making a dull sound.

Even anglers wouldn't come to this place to bait their fishing spots.

"Good location." Jiang Ran nodded.

"Of course, you don't even know who I am." Leng Qiaoqiao also jumped out of the car, stretched, and then took out a new bag of potato chips from the car, opened it, and started crunching away.

"Teacher Jiang, quickly show us your unique skills!"

Clutching the bag of potato chips, Leng Qiaoqiao chattered on and on, "Let me make this clear first: if we don't sell them and we lose money, don't blame me!"

Jiang Ran ignored her nagging, turned around, got into the RV, pushed open the partition door, and took the half-monster out of the freezer.

The monster's corpse was heavier than expected. Even though it was only half a body, it weighed seventy or eighty pounds. Jiang Ran placed it on the operating table. A thin layer of frost still clung to its grayish-brown fur, and cold air slowly rose from the surface of the corpse.

After making preparations, Jiang Ran turned to Leng Qiaoqiao, who was still peeking into the car.

"I don't want to be disturbed while I'm working, so go outside the car and keep watch for me."

"Teacher Jiang, how can you do this? I'm still your student." Leng Qiaoqiao immediately became unhappy and took a step into the car. "Isn't imparting knowledge, teaching skills, and resolving doubts what you, as a teacher, should do? What's wrong with letting me watch from the sidelines?"

"Teaching your apprentice will cause your master to starve."

Jiang Ran didn't bother with any more words and simply pushed her out, "Get out."

"mean."

Leng Qiaoqiao was pushed to the car door, muttered a few words, and finally carried a folding chair out of the car, sat down in the shade of a tree next to the RV, and took out her phone to start watching videos.

Jiang Ran closed the car door, pulled all the windows and curtains tight, and only after confirming that there were no gaps did she turn back to face the control panel.

The carriage quieted down, with only the low hum of the refrigeration unit's compressor remaining.

Jiang Ran stood in front of the control panel, looking at the half-grayish-brown monster corpse in front of her, and took a deep breath.

He hasn't transformed in a long time.

The old wounds left by the World Serpent were not only devouring Jiang Ran's life force, but also his magic power. Each transformation was equivalent to accelerating the countdown of Jiang Ran's life.

He only has two and a half years left to live, and if he transforms again, his lifespan might shorten even further.

But Jiang Ran had no other choice.

"Transformation."

He silently recited it in his heart, without uttering a sound.

A jade bracelet of emerald green appeared out of thin air, without any fancy transformation effects, just a simple flash of white light.

Magical Girl Souseiseki makes her debut.

Jiang Ran opened her eyes, her gaze falling on the smooth surface of the metal workbench, where the blurry reflection showed her current appearance.

She was covered in a semi-transparent black bodysuit, the material as thin as a cicada's wing. Her feet were bare, and her delicate toes, painted with deep purple nail polish, were clearly visible through the black stockings. Her lower body was covered only by a leather-textured short skirt, with leather leg rings tied around her thighs and connected to her waist by a silver belt.

She wore only a short-sleeved, silver-white leather jacket that completely covered her arms. The jacket was so short it barely covered her chest, revealing glimpses of her fair skin clad in black stockings. The tight-fitting black stockings perfectly outlined the soft muscle lines of her waist and abdomen. Several leather straps crossed her groin, crisscrossing with straps at her chest and back, showcasing her perfectly sculpted, 3D-model-like body in the simplest and most direct way.

Compared to twenty years ago, there is basically no change.

The magical girl's appearance seemed to be frozen forever at the moment of her first transformation: her ruby-clear eyes, her long silver hair styled into a high ponytail that fell naturally, and her delicate face showing no emotional fluctuations.

Jiang Ran glanced at it expressionlessly, her gaze quickly settling on her left chest.

The large purple snake did not disappear with the transformation, but remained intact on her left chest, like a bright purple snake tattoo, clearly visible through the semi-transparent black bodysuit.

The only difference is that, due to the expansion of her chest to the point that it is difficult to grasp with one hand after the transformation, the snake's mouth, which was originally biting at the heart, is now biting at a position that evokes many thoughts.

Jiang Ran reached out and tugged at the excessively short silver-white coat, barely covering the purple snake's head.

"As expected, quite a lot of it was swallowed up."

Jiang Ran clenched her fists, carefully sensing the flow of magical power within her body.

As expected, the World Serpent has never stopped eroding her magic over the past twenty years, causing her to fall from the Shining level.

From lowest to highest, the magical girl's power levels are divided into: Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond, Shining, and Supreme.

Jiang Ran made an assessment in her mind.

If one were to unleash their full power without regard for the consequences, they could still unleash a dazzling level of power, but the cost would be a shortened lifespan after each outburst.

However, as long as she doesn't force herself to reach the extreme, with her accumulated combat experience, she should have no problem controlling some of the younger generation.

In some ways, Jiang Ran is actually the most terrifying person right now.

He was an old saint with little lifespan left and carrying an ultimate imperial weapon; even the Heavenly Emperor would have to be polite to him.

Jiang Ran snapped out of her thoughts and refocused her attention on the monster corpse on the control panel.

After flexing her fingers and wrists to confirm that her transformed body was in good condition, Jiang Ran no longer hesitated and began her first "cooking" session, following the plan she had rehearsed countless times in her mind.

The first step is to extract the magic crystals.

For an ordinary chef to do this step, they would need to use all sorts of brutal physical methods, such as cutting, grinding, dissolving, and centrifuging. In the process, not only would a lot of raw materials be wasted, but there would also be a constant risk of the magic going out of control and exploding.

But Jiang Ran didn't need to. She only needed to make a slight move, and it was a miracle in the eyes of the other chefs.

With a former dazzling magical girl personally taking action, no accidents are possible.

Having completed the final step, Jiang Ran deactivated her transformation.

A flash of white light, and the silver hair and black bodysuit disappeared, replaced by a tired middle-aged man wearing a baggy oversized overcoat.

……

Leng Qiaoqiao was sitting on a folding chair, scrolling through her phone listlessly, her toes lightly tapping the ground to some unknown melody.

Jiang Ran walked up behind her and patted her on the shoulder.

Leng Qiaoqiao was so startled that she almost jumped off her chair, and her phone nearly flew out of her hand.

"It's finished. Come in and take a look." Jiang Ran's expression remained unchanged.

"So fast?"

Leng Qiaoqiao looked at her phone with suspicion. She glanced down at the time on her phone. Less than thirty minutes had passed since Jiang Ran closed the car door.

She usually has a strong smell and is very active.

But she was sitting outside the car just now and didn't hear anything or smell anything strange.

"Teacher Jiang, you didn't mess this up, did you?" Leng Qiaoqiao stood up, her expression a mix of worry and doubt. "That half-monster corpse was really expensive. I've spent all the start-up capital you gave me. I can't afford to pay for it if I mess this up."

Jiang Ran didn't explain, but simply stepped aside to let the car door open.

Leng Qiaoqiao followed him into the RV with some skepticism and pushed open the partition door.

The first thing that catches the eye is the remains of a monster, its color having changed from grayish-brown to almost pure white, looking like a specimen that has been drained of all its juices.

Leng Qiaoqiao was taken aback when she saw this. Based on her experience, the magic recovery rate of this wreckage was at least 90%, a figure that was almost impossible to achieve in the industry.

"impossible……"

Leng Qiaoqiao murmured something, then turned to look at the control panel.

It was a dreamlike blue glow, completely transparent, without a trace of impurity.

"Holy crap?!"
