After several days of faster-than-light travel, Norard II arrived at the outer edge of the Tarsannis system, the system's fourth planet, the former Federation's mining world, and also the Sons of Korhal's designated infiltration location.

The minerals on it were all mined out decades ago, and now only a ravaged planet and ruined mining factories remain.

Now, the capital of the Terran Federation is within reach; with just a simple short-distance warp, the fleet can appear directly in outer space in Tarsonis.

The scanning system on Norard II was operating at high speed, constantly scanning the entire galaxy for information. The warship's scanning system, equipped with a machine spirit, moved freely beneath the Federation's noses like a ghost, without revealing its presence.

Subsequently, all the information was displayed on the holographic star map. All of the Federation's main fleets had returned to Tarsannis, forming multiple lines of defense to protect it.

Three space defense platforms hovered in low Earth orbit, perpendicular to the federal government building. Electromagnetic railguns, missiles, swarms of unmanned interceptors, and other defensive facilities were densely deployed on the platforms.

Countless transport planes shuttled between the defense platform and the planet, carrying munitions freshly manufactured in the factory.

At this point, the Federation was no longer able to suppress uprisings throughout the sector, and they concentrated all their forces to prepare for a direct confrontation with the Sons of Korhal.

Any unauthorized ship, whether entering or leaving, will face saturation attacks with crossfire.

"Sir, we have reached the designated coordinates," came the navigator's voice.

The next moment, the main fleet of the Sons of Korhal arrived as scheduled, reaching the expected coordinates on the outermost edge of the Tarsannis system.

The flagship Hyperion hovered high in the center of the fleet, and Arcturus Mengsk stood in the command room, the cold starlight reflecting on his expressionless face.

The Sons of Korhal's flagship was also a behemoth-class strategic cruiser. Shortly after the successful uprising on Antiga Prime, the Sons of Korhal ambushed a Federation support fleet elsewhere and captured this valuable warship.

Because of its powerful firepower and being the only behemoth-class warship in the rebel army, the Hyperion became Mengsk's flagship.

Behind the flagship were several upgraded Leviathan-class warships, hundreds of escort ships, and even more fighter squadrons, spread out in space.

"Our attack on the Federation is imminent," Mengsk ordered all command levels over the encrypted channel.

"However, before we can attack Tarsonis, we must break through the Federation's strongest defenses. General Duke, please brief us on the Federation's defenses."

Immediately afterwards, General Duke's image appeared on the screens of all fleets. By this time, General Duke had changed out of the Federation's insignia and decorations and put on armor paint representing the Sons of Korhal.

He no longer felt the frustration of being captured, and his face regained its proud expression.

"I fought in over thirty major battles while defending Tarsonis, so I know its defenses like the back of my hand," General Duke said proudly. "There are three main orbital platforms serving as bases for the Federation fleet."

"If we attack the central platform, we can create enough chaos to cover a small team breaking through the planetary defenses."

"What a surprise, General. You're the type to charge into battle like this." Reno muttered to himself as he watched General Duke talking at length about his plans on the screen in Norard 2.

"According to the scan, the Federation sent two squadrons to defend the platform," General Duke added, "but neither of them can compare to my brothers."

"Very good, General Duke, I believe you can create a large enough disturbance." Mengsk nodded, agreeing with General Duke's plan.

Three standard hours later, all combat orders had been issued, and the Sons of Korhal's fleet was fully operational. Following the orders, they initiated short-range warp jumps and charged straight at Tarsus.

Upon detecting the spatial warp fluctuations, the Federation fleet immediately sounded alarms and aimed countless cannons at these traitors.

The first echelon of the Sons of Korhal's fleet completed the warp jump. Instead of rushing directly to the Federation's defense platform, they broke into smaller groups, quickly dispersed, and slowly moved to other parts of the planet.

On the defensive platform, a giant electromagnetic railgun, hundreds of meters long, began to slowly rotate, its muzzle condensing into a blinding ball of electromagnetic light, directly attacking the dispersed Sons of Korhal fleet.

The missile launch silos opened in a dense array, and thousands of missiles took off, chasing after the enemy fleet that was attempting to relocate.

Immediately afterwards, the second echelon appeared on the outer perimeter of the defense line, spearheaded by the Hyperion, and supported by five Leviathan strategic cruisers and hundreds of escort ships.

With their engines at full throttle, they hurtled towards the layers of defenses surrounding Tarsanis, like arrows released from a bow.

The next moment, countless Federation fighters and interceptors swarmed out from the platform and nearby warships to block the Sons of Korhal's attack.

Soldiers against soldiers, generals against generals. The Yamato cannons of the Hyperion unleashed powerful torrents of energy, and the massive energy orbs crashed into the thick armor of the Federation's Gorgon-class strategic cruiser, blasting out a deadly burst of light.

The frigate quickly locked onto the enemy target, and a swarm of missiles erupted, rushing towards the Federation's defensive positions. They collided with the enemy's interceptor missiles, exploding into brilliant bursts of fireworks in space.

The two sides' fighter jets entangled and chased each other at closer range, with engine contrails and fireballs from explosions becoming the final embellishments of the entire battle.

At this moment, artillery fire clashed, missiles flew everywhere, and various forms of electromagnetic interference interfered with each other.

Amidst this extreme chaos and clamor, a specially modified Son of Korhal transport plane, painted in deep space colors, carrying Ghost agents and special equipment, quietly appeared on the battlefield.

With the help of electromagnetic cover from friendly forces and the chaotic energy flows that constantly erupted on the battlefield, the transport plane sped toward the federal capital of Tarsonis.

That was Kerrigan, tasked with deploying a psionic transmitter. Crossing a war zone, infiltrating the heart of an enemy capital, and installing and activating a psionic device capable of impacting the entire world—the mission was insanely difficult.

But Kerrigan simply accepted it calmly. She was a ghost, the perfect weapon, and the mission was her everything.

Meanwhile, aboard the Norard II, Elpis silently watched the brutal battle between humans through the porthole.

"The psionic transmitter has successfully breached the defenses and entered Tarsonis," Loken reported as usual. "Furthermore, the Machine Soul has successfully located the psionicist who caused the psionic outburst."

Elpis looked at the information displayed on the holographic projection; it showed a blonde girl who looked about fifteen years old.

Then, holding the Spear of Luna, he walked towards the hangar, leaving behind only one sentence:

"He has great psionic talent; my expedition team needs someone like him."
