The Bizarre Adventure of the Warhammer Guard
Chapter 36 StarCraft, Initiated!
Mar-Sarah, a human colony planet of the Terran Federation.
This colony on the edge of the Koprulu Sector is mostly dry, desolate wasteland. Even after hundreds of years of human colonization, this barren planet has not developed into a steel city.
Fortunately, the planet has abundant crystal mines. These are amazing resources that can be transformed into other minerals through technological modification.
Most known minerals can be transformed from crystal minerals, but some rare and special resources cannot be converted. This magical crystal mineral is also known as silica.
Another highly efficient energy source, known as high-energy gas, is also widely found on this planet. It is a highly efficient fuel and one of the most abundant high-energy-density energy sources that humanity has discovered while exploring the stars.
High-energy gas on most planets exists in gaseous form in gas wells on the Earth's surface. Through technological means, people extract and purify the gaseous gas, converting it into liquid or solid form for easier transportation, storage, and use.
Furthermore, high-energy gas is the most cost-effective of all fuels and is widely used in most of humanity's energy equipment and some advanced weaponry.
Because of these silicon mines and high-energy gas, Ma Sara barely gained attention, leading to the establishment of numerous mining outposts and high-energy gas refineries, making it a peripheral resource-exporting planet of the Terran Federation.
But now, tensions are high, as an alien species called the "Zerg" has invaded the entire Koprulu Sector. Meanwhile, another group of aliens has appeared, eliminating the Zerg and attacking humans; according to the survivors, they are called the "Protoss."
A central planet near Mar-Sara, called Cha-Sara, was invaded by the Zerg. The Protoss also arrived in Cha-Sara. Their fleet appeared directly in the planet's orbit without any prior notice, bombarding the planet with countless beams of light and energy cannons, completely destroying all the Zerg.
However, humanity's centuries of construction on this planet were also destroyed, and countless humans perished at the hands of the Protoss fleet. Only a small number of humans escaped Cha Sara in spaceships, fleeing to other planets of the Terran Federation.
And Ma Sara is one of the closest planets.

The veil of reality was torn away, and then, a flash of light appeared, and Elpis and his expedition team appeared on the barren yellow land of Mar-Salah.
"My lord, as you said." Loken got off the lance-shaped hoverbike he was clinging to, his feet touching the ground. He gently shook his still slightly dizzy head and then looked at the information displayed on the bird divination device on his helmet.
"We've moved far beyond the range of Imperial communications. Are we really in another universe?"
Loken is indeed a battle-hardened warrior, having experienced countless warp voyages and even boarded the Vengeful Spirit in the shadows of the warp, and experienced being transported through the same universe by Elpis.
Now, having traveled to another universe for the first time, the immense discomfort did not cause him much pain. He recovered in just a few breaths and took in his surroundings.
Ada's situation is also quite good. After decades of training and targeted physical enhancement technology from the Sage of Orm, her physical attributes have become exceptionally strong. When fully armored, she can barely contend with a newly promoted Astartes.
Perhaps due to the characteristics of an untouchable, Ada did not exhibit obvious weakness in her limbs, nausea, or dizziness. Instead, she recovered quickly, just like Loken.
"Is this what it means to travel to another world?" Ada looked around. "I feel like a lot of time has passed, even longer than the time I spent traveling before."
"Perhaps the distances between different universes are also different." Elpis sat majestically atop his hovering golden motorcycle. "Stay alert. Through scanning, we've discovered unknown life forms on this planet."
Elpis remained calm, sensing that his ability to traverse the Luna universe was entering its cooldown period. "This universe must be vast," Elpis thought to himself. "The sphere this universe represents is more than half the size of the Warhammer universe."
"By the Emperor," Leon muttered as he staggered off the motorcycle, "Just like Ada said, this is much worse than last time."
Chris's situation was even worse. This new recruit of the Shadowmoon Wolves, having only experienced one warp voyage, was now tasked with a mission traversing the universe. Supported by Leon, he managed to utter a single sentence after a long pause.
"I felt like I was thrown into a washing machine and tossed around for days and nights."
Loken looked at the information flashing on his helmet, slowly took it off, and breathed in the planet's air.
"The air pressure, air quality, temperature, and humidity are all suitable for human survival," Loken said. "No excessive radiation has been detected so far."
"Alright, Loken." Elpis started the Falcon motorcycle. "You guys conduct a defensive reconnaissance in the area, I'll go take a look around."
"Yes, sir."
As soon as he finished speaking, Elpis turned the switch, and with a soft "hum," the Falcon motorcycle shot off. The next second, it disappeared from Loken and the others' sight.
The surrounding scenery rushed past Elpis, a desolate yellow wasteland with occasional patches of yellowish grass growing on the ground.
"Encrypted communication information detected. Read?" A mechanical voice came from the Elpis armor's internal device.
"Machine Soul." Elpis narrowed his eyes slightly. "Let's see what it contains."
"Loading..."
At that moment, a message in Imperial Low Gothic mixed with various slang terms appeared on Elpis's goggles.
"Hello, Sheriff Jim Reynolds."
"I am General Edmund Duke of the Alpha Squadron of the Federation Security Forces. The Federation has detected a large number of Zerg on Mar-Sala and is now requesting a complete quarantine of the planet. We will implement the lockdown within 48 hours."
"I need you to relocate all immigrants in the settlement area of your jurisdiction to the vicinity of Deadwater Base. Commander Rugal will assist you with the relocation. You will be notified of further mission details. I hope these new arrangements will not cause any problems."
After the communication ended, Elpis read a set of coordinates, which were the address coordinates for which people were requested to be moved in the communication.
"Jim Raynor," Elpis slowly uttered a name, a bold guess already forming in his mind, "StarCraft?"
However, more information was needed to confirm this, Elpis thought to himself. The first step was to find the man named Jim Reynolds.
Looking at the coordinates of the settlement, which was only two hundred kilometers away, Elpis contacted Loken and ordered him to lead the team to the destination, while keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity along the way. He would then meet up with them at the destination.
The communication ended, and Elpis's Falcon motorcycle sped off at full throttle towards its destination.
