Under the relentless pressure of online trolls, public opinion was almost unanimously against Haichuan University, which was ranked 2,800th and was relentlessly attacked. However, Lu Jianhua's sudden statement caught him completely off guard.

"Haichuan University actually mobilized Academician Lu for public relations purposes?" He stared intently at the second-ranked trending topic, his face extremely grim.

If it were just Lu Jianhua, he could barely accept it, since Lu Jianhua had already joined Haichuan University as a teacher.

However, Lu Jianhua's post now has seventeen likes from academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, which means that eighteen academicians have publicly expressed their support for Haichuan University!

Xu Yan rubbed his scalp, feeling a tingling sensation.

"How exactly did Wei Ying manage to persuade these eighteen academicians?" Xu Yan gritted his teeth, his face full of doubt and confusion. Each academician represents the pinnacle of their field and would never easily get involved in public opinion controversies.

He couldn't imagine what conditions Wei Ying had offered to persuade eighteen academicians to join the effort!

"Ring ring—" Suddenly, his phone rang. It was a call from the online marketing studio, saying that the task had been completed and that he should pay the balance as soon as possible. It seemed that they did not intend to get involved in this matter anymore.

Xu Yan: "..."

Not long after, the admissions office's landline rang, and the call came from the principal's office.

"Feed?" The moment the call connected, an angry roar came through, "Xu Yan! Look what you've done!"

"Do you think Haichuan University's reputation isn't big enough, and you want to bring in eighteen academicians to bolster their prestige?"

Xu Yan swallowed hard and quickly said, "Principal, please let me explain."

"You don't need to explain!"

"If I didn't know you inside and out, I'd even suspect you're a spy sent by Haichuan University!"

On the phone, Yu Tianzhou's tone was icy as he coldly ordered, "I don't care what methods you use, immediately, take down the trending topics online, and stop promoting Haichuan University!"

He hung up the phone after saying that.

Hearing the busy tone on the phone, Xu Yan's face fell, looking extremely aggrieved.

As the head of the admissions publicity office, he had to do all the dirty and tiring work, and it was all thankless.

Meanwhile, a topic titled "Just how strong is Haichuan University's background?" is rapidly rising online, trending on social media and reaching third place.

Netizens from all over the country joined the discussion and speculated about the background of Haichuan University.

"Looking back now, I was too naive. Haichuan University could never be just a simple privately funded university!"

"Not bad, a regular crowdfunded university can get eighteen academicians to speak out?"

"This background is too powerful, comparable to the defense industry. Could it be that there's a state behind it too?"

"Do you think it's possible that it's a secret national research project, just using a university as a front?"

Netizens have offered a variety of speculations. Some say it has a military background, while others say it has a chaebol background.

One speculation has attracted the attention of many netizens, who believe that Haichuan University is very likely a secret large-scale research project set up by the state because its campus is located in the mountains, making it extremely secluded!

The university is just a front, a way to deceive people and avoid detection by spies from home and abroad!

"That's unlikely, isn't it? I heard that Wei Ying chose the site for Haichuan University, and the funding for its construction came from four provinces."

"That's right. When Haichuan University was established, I also invested two thousand, so I could barely be considered a shareholder."

"If it's a state secret project, why would it need crowdfunding? And still dare to recruit students?"

"Regardless of Haichuan University's background, I only know that it is not an ordinary university!"

After repeated discussions, many netizens offered various reasons to refute this speculation. The background of Haichuan University once again remains a mystery, shrouded in the minds of countless netizens.

After this incident, those who had chosen other universities were filled with regret.

A university that can attract the attention of eighteen academicians is definitely not bad. And those students who have already been admitted are extremely grateful that they remained true to their original aspirations and chose Haichuan University despite the rumors and gossip.

As for their parents, they all expressed their willingness to respect their children's wishes and not interfere further.

Haichuan University, Qinglong Campus, Faculty and Staff Dormitory Building, Room 501.

At this moment, teachers from all disciplines gathered around Lu Jianhua, paying close attention to the progress of the current events.

The first person to discover this was Qi Limin, a student in the field of nuclear energy and new energy. In his spare time, he would occasionally browse domestic trending topics online for inspiration, and that's when he inadvertently discovered that Haichuan University was being cyberbullied!

Then the news spread throughout the entire faculty and staff dormitory.

In the two weeks since they arrived at Haichuan University, they have come to regard it as their home and will not tolerate anyone saying anything bad about it.

He also called seventeen of his friends and asked them to help him like the post.

After a series of actions, the entire internet was shaken, the online trolls gradually disappeared, and public opinion on the internet was instantly reversed.

"Old Master Lu is mighty!" Hu Zhengchu, Qi Limin, Yu Guangchu, and the others looked at Lu Jianhua and exclaimed in sincere admiration. Judging from the current situation, they no longer needed to take action.

"It's all because my colleagues are giving me face," Lu Jianhua said modestly, waving his hand.

"Professor Lu, I'm a little curious," Yu Guangchu suddenly raised his hand and couldn't help but ask, "How did you manage to get the other academicians to give you their approval?"

As soon as the question was asked, everyone's attention turned to Lu Jianhua.

Like Yu Guangchu, they were also very curious about how Lu Jianhua managed to persuade the other seventeen academicians.

It's important to understand that each academician holds a very high position and is highly respected; it's rare for them to take sides like this. Unless, of course, all of these academicians are close friends of Lu Jianhua.

"It's very simple." Lu Jianhua smiled slightly, saying with great pride, "Over the past two weeks, I've come up with a new architectural approach that can be applied to the construction of bridges, highways, railways, and tunnels, greatly saving costs and improving project efficiency!"

Everyone was stunned upon hearing this. Although they were amazed by Lu Jianhua's progress in his studies, they were all completely baffled.

It seems like that's not the question they're asking.

"I've already agreed to share the research results with them," Lu Jianhua said calmly.

Before the words were even finished, the entire room was stunned. Teachers from all disciplines stared wide-eyed, their faces filled with disbelief. Research findings! The research findings of an academician!
