Steam Old Days: The Extraordinary Begins with a Corpse Collector

Chapter 57 Internal Strife, Cyril the Werewolf

Tommy came out of the room.

As he went downstairs, he bumped into Lucy, who looked flustered.

Lucy kept her head down and hurried along, not even noticing Tommy coming downstairs, and bumped right into him.

"Ouch!"

Lucy cried out in pain.

He stumbled and almost fell down the stairs.

Fortunately, Tommy reacted quickly and grabbed Lucy's wrist in time, preventing her from falling.

"Be careful, the lighting is poor at night."

"Okay, I understand."

Lucy was just looking down at her ankle, completely unaware of who was pulling her.

When Lucy looked up and saw the person in front of her, she was startled.

"Tommy!"

Tommy frowned as he looked at Lucy's nervous expression.

He wondered if he was really that scary.

Tommy suddenly sensed that Lucy was acting strangely.

His first instinct was to ask.

But Tommy swallowed the words back down his throat.

Suddenly, he remembered what he had to do.

Would someone who is already planning a rebellion really stand guard for Cyril until the very end?

Could such a woman possibly accomplish anything earth-shattering?

Besides, even if Lucy wants to cause trouble, let her do it! The bigger the commotion, the better.

This would leave Cyril's security weak, allowing Cyril to take advantage of the situation.

Thinking of this, Tommy's tightly furrowed brows suddenly relaxed.

He patted Lucy's shoulder very gently.

"Don't wander around at night, be careful."

After saying that, Tommy walked past Lucy and went down the stairs.

Lucy was stunned; it was the first time she had ever seen Tommy like this.

This left her feeling confused.

She stood on the stairs, turned around, and called out to Tommy.

"Tommy!"

Tommy turned around and looked at Lucy quietly.

Lucy regretted it as soon as she shouted it.

She stood there, stunned, unsure of what to say.

Just as the atmosphere was becoming increasingly awkward, Tommy suddenly laughed.

He smiled and said to Lucy, "Remember not to go out tomorrow, sleep in a little longer."

After uttering this abrupt and unrelated sentence, Tommy's figure completely disappeared from Lucy's sight.

Sleepless nights always feel like an eternity.

As darkness fades, the sky gradually turns blue.

Inside a room outside the bar.

Tommy stood in front of a mirror and put on a brand new suit.

It has a peaked lapel and a pale yellow tulip pinned to the chest.

Tommy looked at himself in the mirror and gave a faint smile.

He picked up the knife and gun from the table.

Tommy tucked the gun behind his waist.

Stepping out of the room, I saw thirteen people standing outside.

They were all wearing the same clothes.

Black suit and white shirt.

The moment Tommy emerged, all thirteen of them shouted in unison, "Big Brother!"

Tommy nodded and raised his hand to signal everyone to be quiet.

"Ladies and gentlemen, Tommy hasn't read many books and won't talk to you like a speaker about cultured things."

"Today, you are willing to rise up with me for my sake, for the sake of those brothers who died tragically. I only have one thing to say to you..."

Tommy paused, took a deep breath, and said solemnly, "Today, our fate rests on your shoulders!"

Before dawn, Tommy returned to the bar alone.

The other thirteen men waited for the gunshots to ring out inside the store before storming in.

Tommy, carrying a knife, slowly walked up to the fourth floor and headed straight for Cyril's office.

"The boss is still resting, please leave now."

The thugs standing guard at the door saw Tommy approaching with a knife and immediately tried to stop him.

"Please leave!"

"Don't go any further!"

Seeing that Tommy not only didn't stop, but actually walked faster and faster, the thug realized something was wrong. He was about to draw his gun when suddenly a sharp knife flew over.

puff!

The dagger pierced the thug's shoulder as he drew his gun.

The thug, in pain, dropped the gun he had just drawn.

Suddenly, the wind picked up.

Tommy appeared in front of the thug with ghostly speed.

The thug was shocked to see Tommy standing less than a few centimeters away from him. He was about to shout out.

Tommy had his throat firmly gripped.

Tommy held his breath, and his palms began to change color.

It gradually changed from its original flesh color to a dark green.

Just as Tommy's palm turned completely eerie green, he actually let go of his hand.

The thug looked at Tommy strangely, not understanding what Tommy had just done.

Suddenly, the thug felt like he couldn't breathe.

It felt like an invisible hand was gripping my throat.

Then, the thug felt a burning sensation all over his body, and his internal organs began to ache as if being stabbed with knives.

Finally, the thug bled from all seven orifices and died a violent death.

It turns out that Tommy was also a superhuman who had undergone organ transplantation; he had transplanted the venom glands of the Blackscale Serpent into his wrist.

One can use spiritual energy to make the venom flow across one's hands.

With just a light touch, the other person will die from the poison.

Tommy pulled the knife from the thug's body.

He wiped the blood off his knife and glanced coldly at the corpse lying on the ground.

Tommy walked to the end of the corridor and pushed open the door to Cyril's office.

Squeak!

The door hinges made a piercing noise.

Cyril was sitting behind his desk, a cigar in his hand.

He was still wearing his pajamas, and it looked like he had just been woken up by the noise outside.

When Cyril saw Tommy walk in, he showed no surprise whatsoever.

"Tommy, it's not even dawn yet, and you can't wait any longer?"

Cyril exhaled smoke and looked calmly at Tommy.

"I really can't sleep if my boss doesn't die, so I have to be a little anxious in order to get a good night's sleep."

Tommy gripped the knife tightly in his hand.

Cyril's lips drooped down little by little.

He yelled at Tommy, "You fool! Do you know what I'm doing?! I'm saving this rotten bar, protecting our old business, and you try to kill me! You traitor, Tommy. You've disappointed me greatly."

In response to Cyril's reprimand, Tommy retorted, "No! You're wrong, Cyril. It's you who has let us down. It's you who are now blinded by power!"

"How many brothers you killed, so loyal to you, yet they met such a fate! Cyril, you deserve to die!"

In an instant, Tommy raised his knife and charged toward Cyril.

Tommy moved very fast; the venom was being secreted wildly within his body, flowing along his blood vessels to the blade.

The blade suddenly emitted an eerie green light.

Cyril was not afraid at all; he was agile and easily dodged Tommy's fatal blow.

"You think you can kill me?!"

Cyril laughed mockingly.

With a loud shout, Cyril's men sprang into action, grabbing their weapons and charging upstairs.

A cold glint flashed in Tommy's eyes. He drew his sidearm and fired several shots down the corridor.

The bullets took the lives of several people in an instant.

Upon hearing the gunshots, the thirteen thugs outside stormed into the bar.

Suddenly, a fierce fight broke out in the bar.

"Hmph! So you had accomplices. Saves me the trouble of investigating."

Cyril's eyes darkened as he listened to the sounds of fighting downstairs.

"Cyril! I am your opponent!"

Tommy turned his gun around and fired all the remaining bullets in Cyril's magazine.

Cyril dodged and weaved around the room.

Taking advantage of the moment when Tommy ran out of bullets, he attacked again, kicking the knife out of Tommy's hand.

Tommy's fingers trembled as he took several steps back.

Even without weapons, Tommy's deadly hands are still not to be underestimated.

"Tommy, today you'll learn the consequences of going against me." Cyril cracked his neck. "You'll also learn what true transcendence is."

As soon as he finished speaking, Cyril's face instantly turned ferocious, his body rapidly expanded, and sharp teeth and claws grew out.

A wolf's howl echoed throughout the bar.

At this moment, Cyril resembled a vicious wolf.

Cyril the Werewolf!

Cyril's extraordinary demeanor.

The werewolf let out a series of low growls, its bloodthirsty eyes fixed on Tommy.

At this moment, Tommy could only reach Cyril's chest.

The werewolf's claws were pointed at Tommy.

"Kill them all, leave no one alive!"

……

The wheels rolled on, and a hungover Walter lay in the carriage.

The bumpy carriage made him feel nauseous.

Walter finally couldn't hold back after the carriage wheel was jolted by a stone on the road.

"Wow!"

Vomit mixed with stomach acid splattered all over the carriage.

A sour, foul smell immediately filled the air.

Walter propped his head up and suddenly realized that he was actually in motion.

Before Walter could even figure out what was going on...

A scream reached Walter's ears.

The carriage beneath them suddenly went out of control.

In a frantic rush, the carriage overturned, throwing Walter out of the carriage.

He fell heavily to the ground, feeling dizzy.
