Chapter 183 An Astonishing Scene

Just as Ron was thinking about these things, he glanced at Selidewin beside him and suddenly noticed a meaningful smile on the other man's face.

He recognized that expression; it was the same look on the other person's face when they were playing games in the room this morning.

Ron got goosebumps from that smile: "Did this guy guess what I was thinking just now?"

Ron continued to think, but his face remained impassive. After all, he was worried that the other party was just bluffing. If he showed his weakness, wouldn't that be an admission of guilt?

At this thought, his previously restless heart calmed down, clearing away all the chaotic thoughts from his mind. He looked at the woman in front of him and smiled the same way: "Selidewin, what exactly were you trying to say to me just now?"

The same old tactics, the same old way of changing the subject—this guy really hasn't improved at all. I wonder how he managed to trick those two girls into his hands.

The Moon Lady silently evaluated Ron's performance. She had naturally heard Ron's previous comments about Lord Latour and herself, which was why she acted just now.

However, she hadn't originally intended to argue with the young man in front of her. After all, she had lived to such an old age that there were some things she no longer cared about: including her own age.

However, thinking about the jumbled thoughts that Ron had just had, Seridwin decided to teach the kid a lesson later. Otherwise, who knew what this restless little guy might do to him in other places besides the room?

Thinking of this, the woman's smile grew even brighter, her eyes meeting the boy's without blinking. Then she said, "Come with me to a place later; there's a surprise I have for you there."

The paper was already unsettling from his eerie smile, and upon hearing this, the ominous premonition intensified. She resolved to get to the bottom of things, or she feared she wouldn't fare well: "Couldn't you have told me beforehand what kind of place it was?"

You'll see when you get there.

After saying this, Seridwin gave Ron a knowing look, and then turned and walked towards the stairs without even looking back.

Looking at the woman's curvaceous figure and the way she walked, Ron felt a mix of joy and sorrow.

After all, who wouldn't like such a beautiful woman?

But when it comes to that kind of thing, sometimes you have to restrain yourself, otherwise your body will probably suffer sooner or later.

With a nervous heart, I followed behind the other person, and at the same time, I made sure to greet Latour, who was watching my work at the lab bench, "Mr. Latour, we'll be going now. Please call us if you need anything."

The hunched old man didn't answer Ron's question. He simply waved in the direction the two had left before continuing with what he was doing.

Seeing the other person's expression, Ron understood that they didn't want to continue talking to the two of them.

Without saying another word, he followed Seridwin out of the room.

After the two left, Latour came to his senses, turned to look in the direction where they had disappeared, and his eyes flashed with a strange light, as if he was thinking about something.

Meanwhile, Ron followed behind Selidewyn, his eyes constantly glancing at the alluring woman in front of him. Just as he was about to speak and ask something, he heard her speak first, her tone unhurried and her voice full of intriguing meaning: "Don't ask anything, you'll know when you get there."

The words I was about to say yesterday suddenly became jumbled up by what the other person said, and I swallowed them back, resigning myself to keeping them to myself.

The two continued walking up the spiral staircase until they arrived at an unfamiliar room, where they stopped.

Ron stared at the dark red door in front of him, his eyes narrowing slightly. Finally, he turned his gaze to the woman beside him, waiting for her to give him a reasonable explanation.

Seemingly noticing the hesitation on the boy's face, Seridwin chuckled lightly, then without offering any explanation, strode forward with long, unapproachable steps, pushed open the door, and went inside.

Ron was stunned for a moment when he saw this.

He didn't know whether he should follow, but then he remembered that this was the Crimson Tower, within the academy's territory, and the other party shouldn't be so ruthless towards him.

Moreover, after a month of casual flings, the woman in front of him should have had a chance to think things over. He didn't believe this guy was really so heartless and audacious.

With this thought in mind, Ron felt more confident and followed the other person into the room without hesitation.

Upon entering, he could clearly see the appearance of the room.

Contrary to expectations, there were no beds, sofas, or other furniture inside; there was only a huge, nearly two or three-meter-long, transparent crystal sphere.

Ron stared wide-eyed at the reflection in the sphere, momentarily failing to notice that Seledwin, who had been walking ahead, was now standing behind him.

"What exactly is going on?"

Ron's eyes were fixed on the light and shadow emanating from the crystal ball, and on the familiar person within it. He asked Seridwin with some difficulty.

However, when he turned to look to the side, he found that the other person had already disappeared from his sight.

Just as he was about to search carefully for the woman's whereabouts, a huge force suddenly came from behind, shoving him hard towards the direction of the crystal ball.

I was stunned by the suddenness of it and didn't react in time. I lost my balance and plunged headfirst into the crystal ball.

An unexpected scene unfolded.

Normally, when a person collides with an object, they will be bounced back by that object; after all, forces are reciprocal.

Ron thought so too. When he felt the force coming from behind him, he was initially a little surprised and uncertain, but then he realized that it must have been Seridwin who did it. After all, there were only the two of them in the room. If it wasn't that guy, then who could it be?

So he didn't force himself to stop. He knew that the other person must have guessed his little thoughts beforehand, and that's why he was being temperamental and wanted to teach him a lesson.

So Ron let the other man do as he pleased, letting his body crash straight into the crystal ball.
