Chapter 6: Death Without Consent Is Not Allowed

Luo An didn't know how he got back.

With each step, my legs felt weak, and the sensation in my arms became blurred.

His vision blurred several times, and only one thought remained in his mind.

Back on the farm.

Luo An pushed open the door and almost tripped over the threshold.

He gently placed Celia on the bed. The girl remained unconscious, her brows furrowed, as if she were having a nightmare.

Although some treatment was done on the wound, blood was still slowly seeping out.

Luo An forced himself to stay awake as he rummaged through the herbs in his basket.

The herbs that Celia had previously sorted were bundled together, and he used his memory to find the herbs she had mentioned that could stop bleeding and relieve pain.

Luo An washed his hands thoroughly, crushed the herbs, and mixed them with other ingredients to make a cooling ointment.

He first treated the wound on his abdomen with clean water, then applied ointment, and finally bandaged the wound with a clean bandage.

The wound on the back is more serious.

He carefully lifted the tattered clothes, revealing the girl's smooth back.

The bluish-purple wound was rather long, and Luo An could only touch it slightly.

"Hmm~"

Celia let out a soft groan while unconscious, her brow furrowing slightly.

After doing all this, Luo An realized that he was soaked in sweat.

The combined depletion of his magical power and physical strength left him feeling extremely tired after a slight relaxation.

Luo An took a set of clean clothes and went out to boil a basin of water.

I took off my dirty clothes and washed myself with hot water.

After taking a shower, Luo An felt much less tired.

I really want to lie down in bed and fall asleep immediately.

But the thought of Celia still managed to rouse him.

He boiled another basin of water and carried the wooden basin full of hot water into the room.

Luo An sat on a small stool by the bed, intending to wipe the dust off Celia's body little by little with a hot towel.

He looked at Celia lying on the bed and hesitated for a moment.

Slave contracts stipulated that the master had absolute control over the slave's body.

He can do whatever he wants, and Celia has no right to refuse.

But Luo An simply wiped her dusty cheeks and slender arms with a hot towel and then stopped.

Let her handle the rest herself.

Luo An sat to the side, absorbing the trace magical elements around him.

My headache has eased, and my strength is slowly returning.

After an unknown amount of time, there was some reaction on the bed.

Celia was awakened by the pain of her wound.

When she was conscious, her first instinct was to reach for the bow and arrows beside her, but she touched the soft bed instead.

She opened her eyes, looked at her master who was watching her, and then glanced at the ointment applied to her wound.

"woke up?"

When Luo An saw that Celia had woken up, he was finally relieved.

I've prepared a change of clothes for you.

"It's just men's clothing. I'll wear it for now after I've washed myself."

After saying that, he stood up, closed the door, and went out.

"Owner."

Celia didn't know why she woke up on the farm; her face was pale and bloodless.

Following her master's instructions, she removed her tattered clothes, wiped the blood and dust off her body with a warm towel, and washed her hair as well.

When Celia changed into clean clothes, she realized that the clothes were ridiculously large. They were loose and baggy on her, and she had to roll up the cuffs several times to reveal her slender wrists.

After everything was settled, Celia walked to the door and pushed it open.

Outside, Luo An sat at a wooden table with two bowls of hot porridge on it.

Hearing the door open, he turned around and his eyes widened slightly in surprise.

Celia washed the dust off her face, revealing her originally fair complexion.

Her long, silvery-white hair hung wetly down to her waist, and her cherry-colored lips were slightly upturned, her smile as beautiful as a painting.

Her icy blue eyes looked at me with a hint of shyness.

"Master, my master?"

Celia unconsciously smoothed her hair with her fair hands, feeling a little uncomfortable under his gaze. She lowered her eyes, her ear tips turning a light red.

"How's the injury?"

Luo An snapped out of his daze and blurted out something casually.

"Come and sit down, I've made you some porridge."

Although I had heard that elves were a race with extremely high looks, Celia was dirty when she was brought back, so I didn't pay much attention.

Seeing her face for the first time today was truly unexpected.

Roan began to understand why elves were so popular in the slave market.

"It's much better now."

Celia took her seat and sipped the porridge with her small lips.

"Thank you, Master."

Celia remembered that she was knocked unconscious after being blasted away by the goblin shaman, and she had no recollection of what happened afterward.

"How did my master bring me back?"

Celia looked at Roan, wanting to know what had happened.

"After you fell into a coma..."

Luo An briefly explained the subsequent situation.

Celia listened intently, her pupils widening when she heard the B-rank magic.

"I have had a certain sensitivity to magic since I was a child."

Luo An offered a plausible explanation: "This B-rank magic was obtained for me by my father through some shady means, which cost a lot of money."

"You elves can guide humans in learning magic. Father brought you back with the intention of having you guide me."

"You probably already know that."

Celia had no doubt about these words.

The thought of my master using B-rank magic with his current level of magical power is very worrying.

"With the magic power you currently possess, it's best not to force yourself to cast B-rank magic."

"Overdrafting your magic power is a serious matter; it could very well affect your future potential."

Luo An didn't know much about magic, but seeing her worried expression, he realized there was a problem.

"I couldn't think about that at the time; I couldn't just watch you get beaten to death."

He smiled.

"After all, I haven't received any guidance. I'll be more careful in the future."

Celia's hands trembled slightly as she held the bowl, and tears welled up in her eyes.

"I'm just a slave, why does my master care about me so much?"

"When a slave dies, he dies; it's only natural."

"Master doesn't need to risk his life for me."

With each word she spoke, Celia's trust level increased, leaving Ron bewildered.

Influenced by the contract, after becoming a slave, one will more or less think about problems from the perspective of a slave.

Talking to Celia about "equality for all" is way too advanced.

In order to help her understand better, Luo An had no choice but to explain in terms that were consistent with her understanding.

"Since slaves are the property of their masters, isn't your death a loss to the master?"

"I didn't give you permission to die without my consent."

"If you die without my permission, that would be disobeying your master's orders."

"Celia, you must remember this."

Luo An finished the bowl of porridge in one gulp.

"Protecting your owner is your duty, but you should also consider your own safety as much as possible."

"Get a good rest tonight."

After saying that, without waiting for Celia's reply, Roan went into his room.

Celia stared blankly at the closed door, remaining silent for a long time before she came to her senses.

"You should consider your own safety as much as possible."

In this world, no one but the master would care so much about the safety of a slave.

As a slave, what could she do to repay her master?

Celia wanted to show off as much as possible.

She remembered what her master had mentioned earlier.

Instruction magic.

Once the magic is unsealed, I must do my best to help my master.

Another point.

Celia knew perfectly well why humans were so keen on capturing Pokémon.

She recalled the slightly stunned look in her master's eyes when he first saw her.

Celia had some ulterior motives.
