Chapter 24 Niu Niu, let's sprint with all our might!

The bull stopped in front of the farm gate.

In front of its resting shed, there was a lot of grain and fodder.

"Moo~"

The bull's eyes gleamed; a sumptuous feast awaited it.

As soon as Luo An got off it, it eagerly ran to the shed and began to chew its food.

"Master, you're back?"

Celia had just stepped out of the kitchen, her long, silvery-white hair tied up with a strip of cloth, a few stray strands falling beside her ears, unfinished.

She was dressed in coarse cloth clothes, with a gray apron tied around her neck, and her hands were still covered in flour.

This outfit really gives off a peasant woman vibe.

Even with such simple attire, this elf was still excessively beautiful.

"What did you do? It smells pretty good."

Luo An asked casually.

"I remembered that my owner brought back some honey and jam yesterday, so I tried making honey and jam bread."

Celia quickly went into the kitchen and brought out a plate full of bread.

The wheat bread has a crispy crust and is topped with a layer of yellow honey and red jam.

Entering the house, Celia placed the plate on the table, untied her apron, and looked on with anticipation.

"Master, please try it."

She had just tasted it and thought it was pretty good.

Roan looked at Celia's nose, which was covered in flour, and couldn't help but chuckle.

She seemed to be enjoying it.

He picked up the bread and took a bite.

The bread is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with the sweetness of honey and the slight tartness of jam melting on the tongue, creating an excellent taste.

"It's delicious."

After Luo An finished speaking, he took another big bite, and the long bread was quickly finished.

To his surprise, Celia's talents now included a new entry: "Gourmet".

Although she is only at Rank D now, her rank will definitely rise as her cooking skills improve.

"As long as the master is happy."

Celia couldn't help but smile as she received the praise.

The dinner was warm and comforting.

After clearing the table, Luo An sat down and got down to business.

"Celia, let me tell you about my plans for tomorrow."

The elf immediately straightened his posture and listened attentively.

"I'm going to the forest to clear out the monsters tomorrow, you stay at the farm and keep watch."

Celia pouted, lost in thought.

"Master, why don't I go instead? In case other farms are attacked by monsters, you can go and help them."

"Is your injury fully healed?"

Luo An asked with some concern.

Although Celia seems to have recovered her health, it's hard to say exactly how.

"Don't worry, Master, I'm completely healed. I have no problem clearing out the monsters."

Celia felt it was unnecessary to trouble her master with such matters; her master had more important things to do.

"Okay, then I'll leave it to you."

Luo An reached out and patted her head. "Don't push yourself too hard. Remember, your own safety is the most important thing."

Celia's head was gently rubbed and she squinted her eyes, looking like a docile kitten.

Trust level +5%

"Master, I will be careful," she said softly.

After a moment of silence, Celia suddenly remembered something.

"Master, we still need the secret healing technique tonight."

Celia's shyness lessened considerably, and her cheeks weren't as red anymore.

"Okay, I understand."

Luo An readily agreed.

"After a few more times, the hidden dangers left by the master's overdraft of magic power will be completely eliminated."

Celia added another sentence.

"I'll do whatever you say."

Luo An was somewhat surprised, but he still agreed.

After last night, I have recovered to about 70-80%, and I may be fully recovered after this.

But since they didn't quite understand the intricacies, they simply chose to trust this elf who had a profound understanding of magic.

Night fell once more.

Unlike last night, when Celia entered the room this time, although the tips of her ears were still red, she was no longer flustered or anxious.

She snuggled into the covers, and without Luo An saying a word, she naturally leaned closer to him.

Luo An reached out and wrapped his arms around her slender waist, touching the soft fabric.

"Let's begin."

Celia nodded slightly.

The emerald green glow shone again, and magic flowed through the skin.

The girl in his arms rubbed against his chest, and the sensation on the back of his thigh was still hard.

Celia quickly fell asleep.

Luo An smoothed a strand of her hair, then closed his eyes.

......

A good night's sleep.

The next day, just as dawn was breaking, Luo An woke up to find that the person beside him had vanished.

She gets up really early every day.

Luo An felt the abundance of magic power within his body, and the burning sensation caused by the previous overdraft completely disappeared.

After yet another round of secret treatment, the body should be fully recovered.

Stepping out of the room, a steaming breakfast was laid out on the dining table, but Celia was nowhere to be seen.

Luo An could guess where she had gone.

This girl prepared breakfast and left home before dawn, just to go into the forest and hunt monsters.

She was very dedicated to fulfilling her trust.

Luo An sat down and quietly finished his breakfast, without any intention of looking for Celia.

The girl's abilities are absolutely trustworthy.

This magical elf should pose little real threat to many of the monsters in the forest.

I was originally planning to go with her.

"Let's boil some milk."

With nothing to do, Luo An went out of the house and came to the shed where the wild bulls were kept.

The milk of the green-haired bull is widely recognized as delicious, and a liter of milk can fetch a high price of one silver coin.

Luo An placed a wooden bucket under the cow and pinched the part of the cow that produces milk.

Because he had never practiced before and had no experience, his movements were very clumsy.

The bull was quite obedient, letting him do as he pleased, only occasionally making a "moo" sound.

"Niu Niu, you've worked hard. I'll give you extra food at noon."

Luo An's movements became more and more skilled, and soon he had filled a bucket with milk.

He picked up the wooden bucket filled with white liquid and went into the kitchen.

The milk produced by wild bulls can be drunk directly, but it becomes even sweeter and more delicious after being boiled.

Time passes little by little.

From dawn to noon, and from noon to dusk.

Aside from providing the bull with a pile of fodder as agreed, Luo An spent the rest of his time sitting at the doorway, gazing at the surrounding sky.

The wait was a little boring, but Luo An was still very patient.

Just as the last rays of sunlight were about to be swallowed by the night, thick blue smoke suddenly rose into the sky in the northeast direction.

This smoke is exceptionally noticeable, visible even at night, and is produced only by burning special types of wood.

"They're here."

Celia isn't here; if he leaves the farm, there will be no one to guard it.

But she just left the farm today and swept away the monsters in the vicinity, so there should be no danger.

"Getting to the farm is the priority right now!"

Luo An went into the shed and led out the bull.

He leaped onto the bull, gripped the reins tightly, and slapped its rump hard.

"Niu Niu, head towards that farm!"

The bull bellowed, its powerful hooves kicking up dust as it charged at full speed toward the rising smoke on the muddy road.

The wind whistled past his ears, and for the first time he felt the speed that Niu Niu unleashed when he sprinted at full speed.

At this speed, it won't be long before they reach the attacked farm.

Luo An appeared very agitated at this moment.

Brian helped him build the stage; the performance was finally about to begin.
