Interspecies Training Manual

Chapter 13 The Master is indeed the Master

The journey back to the farm took another three days.

The farmland was abandoned and trampled beyond recognition by goblins.

Before sowing, the soil needs to be turned over once.

Roan handed Celia a hoe.

"Do you know how to use it?"

Celia picked up the hoe and weighed it in her hand.

"I...I'll use a little."

She had never done farm work before when she lived in the forest, and in fact, she didn't know how to do it.

For farming, elves can use magic.

But Celia didn't want her master to think that she couldn't even do this.

What she didn't know was that Luo An saw through her lie at a glance.

When Celia lies, her pointed elf ears twitch and her eyes unconsciously look down.

"Let's begin then."

He didn't expose it, allowing the lie to continue.

Luo An walked into the farmland, swung his hoe, and brought it down heavily.

Relying on his muscle memory, he still managed to farm quite well.

Celia was in charge of another field, and following his movements, she turned the soil with a hoe.

At the beginning, my movements were very clumsy, and I didn't quite control the force.

But she learned very quickly, paying attention to every detail of her master's movements, and soon mastered the rhythm.

Adjust the angle when raising the hoe, and use the momentum to cut into the soil when it falls, and the soil will loosen as soon as it is pried open.

Roan and Celia moved slowly through the two fields, one in front of the other.

Under the bright sun, sweat trickled down Luo An's face.

Celia would straighten up from time to time, and the frequent bending over made her feel an unusual soreness in her lower back.

She wiped away the glistening beads of sweat with her sleeve; her silvery-white hair was soaked and stuck to her temples, which she casually tucked behind her ear.

"Take a break if you're tired."

Luo An turned around and glanced at her.

Celia shook her head.

"I'm not tired. Master hasn't rested either, has he?"

Seeing her persistence, Luo An said nothing more and continued to turn the soil with his hoe.

As the sun began to set, Luo An straightened up, looked at the turned earth behind him, and breathed a sigh of relief.

Farming is much more tiring than I imagined.

But through farming, Luo An also experienced the changes in his body after his attributes increased.

In the past, he would be exhausted after farming for a short time, but now he only feels tired after finishing a field.

He glanced at the two remaining farmlands in the distance.

We'll turn the soil when spring comes.

That's all for today.

Luo An sat down on the ground and took out some dry food.

Celia stopped too, sat down next to him, and nibbled on her bread.

"We'll finish by planting the seeds suitable for this season tomorrow."

As Luo An spoke, he looked at her small hand.

"Your hands are all blistered."

Celia then looked down at her palms, where several blisters were worn red and faintly oozing blood.

Strange, I didn't feel any pain just now, but after being reminded, the pain became more intense.

"It's alright."

Celia hid her hands behind her back; she was a hard-working person.

"After you finish eating, I will use the magic-removing stone to remove the magic seal on your body."

Luo An stood up and looked towards the edge of the farm.

"I'll go and fix the fence."

Celia gazed at her master from afar.

He is very serious when he does things; his actions, such as hammering nails and setting up wooden stakes, are all swift and efficient.

A smile appeared on Celia's lips that she herself didn't even realize.

After finishing her bread and drinking some water, she took out the magic-dispelling stone from her bosom.

The stone's surface shimmered with magic, and its interior contained a rich aura of magic.

Celia gathered her hair and placed the magic-dispelling stone on the magic-suppressing mark on her neck.

A continuous flow of power seeped from the stone and entered the mark.

Celia closed her eyes and focused her mind on guiding the flow of that power.

Time passes little by little.

The seal that had imprisoned her for so long was loosening.

With a soft sound, the seal broke open.

The dormant magic flowed through his body like a river bursting its banks, reviving at an extremely rapid pace.

The energy within the magic stone was completely exhausted, and it lost its luster.

Celia's magic has returned.

Although it hasn't fully recovered yet, it won't be long.

Her first reaction wasn't happiness at regaining her power, but rather a feeling that she could better help her master.

Celia stared at the blisters on her hands.

With a thought, a faint light enveloped his hands.

When the light faded, her fair and delicate hands returned to normal.

The healing magic healed the wound on his hand.

Celia stood up and jogged towards Roan.

"Owner!"

Her voice was much louder than usual, unable to contain her excitement.

"What's wrong?"

Luo An had just finished repairing the last section of the fence, dusted himself off, and looked back.

"My magic has been restored."

Celia ran up to him with a big smile on her face.

She waved her sleeve lightly, and a gentle breeze swept up the surrounding dust and fallen leaves, carrying them into the distance.

"Master, didn't you want to learn magic better?"

"Although I'm not exactly a very powerful magician, I can still explain some of the basics to you."

Without saying a word, Celia grabbed Roan's hand and led him into the house.

"Wash your face first. What kind of appearance do you look with all that sweat?"

Luo An rested his chin on his hand and gazed at her.

Reminded by this, Celia touched her cheek and realized that it was covered with a mixture of sweat and dust.

Her face flushed instantly, and she hurriedly got up.

Celia boiled a pot of water and did some cleaning.

After doing all this, she returned to her seat with a serious expression.

"You can consider me a newcomer when it comes to magic."

Luo An wanted to learn it all from the beginning.

"Master, magic actually always exists within a person's body, but for most people, their magic is dormant..."

Celia nodded and began to talk about the origin of magic, sharing a lot of knowledge about magic.

For example, the affinity between different elemental magics, the logic of casting basic magic, and how to store more magic power are all explained very clearly.

Sometimes, when Luo An frowned, she would look at him with her big eyes and ask if he understood or if he needed to be told again.

Luo An didn't pretend to know what he didn't; he asked questions whenever he had any.

This lecture lasted for a very long time.

For some reason, Celia was clearly the one teaching, you could say she was the teacher.

But when facing its master, it was as nervous as an apprentice being tested.

Ron listened very attentively.

He knew nothing about magic; he only mastered the fireball spell because of the "Interspecies Training Manual".

Celia's explanation was like opening a completely new door.

Perhaps it was because of his "magical affinity" that he could understand some obscure knowledge after hearing it only once.

Following Celia's instructions, Roan circulated the magic power within his body.

A pure, transparent aura condensed in my hand.

He found that the magic flowed much more smoothly in this way than before, without any blockage.

Just then, Luo An noticed that the value of his Spirit attribute on his panel had increased from 8 to 9.

A hint of joy flashed in Luo An's eyes.

My attributes, which hadn't improved in a long time, actually increased because of Celia.

"My master is indeed my master."

Celia was afraid that she hadn't taught him well, but she was impressed by how quickly her master had grasped the skills.

The master already possesses abundant magic power; once he fully masters how the elves use magic, he will surely become very powerful in the future.

"It's all thanks to you."

Seeing her nervous expression, Luo An didn't hold back his praise.

"You explained it very well, and it helped me a lot."

"hey-hey."

Celia smiled, revealing her teeth, after being praised so directly.

She sat down next to Luo An, took his hand, and placed it on his little head.

Luo An was taken aback, but seeing the expectant look in her eyes, he understood what she meant.

He gently stroked Celia's soft, silvery-white hair.

Trust level +5%

Celia likes being touched like this by her owner.

She wished she could teach everyone everything she knew.

But he also understood that learning magic was not something that could be accomplished overnight, and that he had to take it slowly.

"Master, that's all for today."

"I'll teach you some basic magic tomorrow."
