Dark Eldar

95 Marcus

In the underground water dungeon of Kevingani, the young elven prince Irete completed a blue mission given to him by Dark (to persuade the resisting Gludinian soldiers to surrender). Ludar and Irete, brother and sister, reported to their supreme commander, Dark.

"Dark, they have surrendered. Please remove their shackles!" Irete said before Ludal could speak.

"Yes, yes." Ludar dared not add any more words; things had come to this point, and he feared that he might make things worse.

"Oh? The elves are indeed impressive (charm). I have two high-grade 'invisibility pills' from the Dark Clan here. How about I reward you with them? I'm sure you won't be interested in extra gold coins." (Note: Dark intends to control the elf siblings through drugs.)

Ludall knew perfectly well what was going on.

"Thank you for the reward! Mission accomplished!" The quick-witted Eliza took the pill with a quick "charge," then returned to her original position with another charge. After examining it by candlelight, she put the pill into her backpack.

Seeing that his powerful sister was protecting the elf prince, Dark abandoned his original plan. He dared not force Ilet to take the special pill; the invisibility ability was definitely there. Otherwise, things would get much more complicated... (Without resorting to trickery, Dark estimated that the elf siblings working together would be no match for him.)

All the human and half-human soldiers who had resisted were released, and they smiled when they saw the dazzling sunlight outside. They followed the Ilet siblings to a specially designated camp. (Arranged by Ludar)

After bathing and changing his clothes, the elder human mage led all the valiant soldiers to take a headcount.

He called out in a hoarse, low voice, "Edgar, Quint, Primo, Barbara (female, assassin), Harris, Beatrice (female, warrior)..." There were 52 soldiers, plus the elderly mage Markars, making a total of 53. Among them, 16 were half-humans.

None of them were armed. Marcus, used to using a staff, found a wooden stick on the spot to use as a "staff." All their weapons and equipment were confiscated. Dark disagreed with distributing their original weapons, fearing that the Ilet forces would become stronger.

The new camp was located in the northwest corner of Gludin. It wasn't large, consisting of single-story buildings, with two beds in the commander's room. After assigning the camp, Gludin's chief steward, Ludar, left. He dared not linger, fearing Dark's suspicion. (A side note: The Barbarian King wanted to stay and follow the Elf Prince, knowing Ludar wouldn't stop him. But after looking around, he didn't do so and followed Ludar away. The Barbarian King learned a lot from the rebel leader. Ludar's attribute: 'Strategy')

Eliza, the younger sister, took out the quest reward item, intending to throw it down the drain. She hesitated, then decided to "preserve the evidence" so she could complain to her grandfather later. (Elder Izo, the Mysterious Island Elf)

"Brother, you have a speech to give later. Do you need a speech draft?" Eliza reminded him.

"Ugh, so annoying! I really don't know why they insist on following me. I think they're all a burden, the highest of them isn't even level 50. Look at that old man, using a firewood stick as a staff, he looks like he's not even level 45, I wonder what spells he knows?" Iret complained. In his opinion, fighting is fighting! Having so many soldiers is unnecessary. In front of Elder Izhuo's ultimate move, dozens of people were easily wiped out.

"Brother, perhaps Grandpa's mission is for us to learn how to lead troops and fight battles! You must take it seriously! I support you the whole time!" Eliza, the younger sister, could see through the clues.

"Yeah!" Applause! Cheers! The elderly human mage, Markarus, even slammed his staff on the ground in celebration. Then, it was time for Irete to speak!

"We, we'll work together! United we stand! We'll share the loot! Thank you everyone!" The Elf Prince Irete only said four sentences! He was mimicking Ludar's "tone" from before at the portal. His sister, Eliza, clenched her fists excitedly, overjoyed! She was truly afraid that her brother Irete would act impulsively and say something discouraging, like, "Disband everyone, that's it..."

Applause! Cheers erupted! The tenacious human soldiers saw hope!! Among them, several beautiful and alluring exotic female assassins stared intently at the handsome elven prince, almost completely captivated...
