Dark Eldar

The mission wasn't completed; it was still a yellow-tier party mission. This was somewhat unacceptable to Loki and Edward III, despite the objective reason (the split within the Black Dragonflight, which rendered the "mission objective" invalid). Loki and Edward decided to try their luck with the young "Black Dragon King" (Saberian).

Few know of Sabellian's lair. Edward III was well-prepared; he marked it on a map. Edward decided to open a "small portal" so Loki could go there first.

This is a way to protect yourself. The portal consumes a lot of mana depending on the distance it's opened. Loki can also do this, but he's not as skilled as Edward, saving mana.

Coordinates (127, 339). Loki arrived instantly and accurately! Crouching, Loki saw: scattered half-dragon guards (not fully evolved), and lava spewing from cracks in the rocks beside the cave. (The hatching of the black dragon baby requires geothermal energy.)

Edward then stepped out of the portal and concealed himself. (This portal lasts for 5 minutes. Edward's "portal" is an improved version; the spellbook usually says 8-10 minutes, but Edward believes it doesn't need to last that long and saves mana, making it more practical in battle! Don't underestimate this small improvement; other mages can't master it and it requires a "superior" level of proficiency.)

Edward glanced at his mana bar; it was down to 20% (normal portals start at 30%). He smiled knowingly; it was just as he'd expected.

"Let's go in. I've already checked it out. We'll teleport past the guards! Look! The Saberian Cave is teeming with life!" Loki whispered, pointing towards the cave entrance. Steam was rising from it.

"I wonder if the Black Dragon King is here?" Edward muttered to himself as he walked. He didn't want to waste 20% of his mana; a warlock's mana was extremely precious. (It could be used to heal his "pet," apply buffs, etc.)

"We'll definitely make this trip worthwhile. I'm sure there's a mother dragon inside; Saberian has fully evolved into a 'dragon-man.' If he's not there, we'll wait for him! He wouldn't abandon his beloved 'dragon girl'..." Loki analyzed. (Mother dragons are often quite stunning after evolving into human form.)

The cave entrance to the giant dragon's mouth is forever open! Not to "welcome guests," but to greet "prey." The unique Black Dragonkin are fearless! Most outsiders, "negotiators," and even "ambushers" are devoured alive—the piles of bones outside are proof! (Ambushrs: bounty hunters, wanderers, dwarven assassins, etc., who risk everything to improve their equipment! They attack lone dragonkin guards or pterodactyls.)

Loki was no stranger to the Sabrian Caves; he had come here to gather materials long ago.

The same dragon's lair, but the interior decoration is completely different from that of "Nesario".

The hall was ablaze with gold! Neatly arranged dragon guards, tridents in hand, stood in formation, poised for battle!

"Do they have 'humanoid radar' (advanced engineering)?" Loki asked. Having been away for so long, he hadn't considered this:

"How could I, along with Edward, who is also a high-ranking mage, be so easily discovered by the dragon guards? We were far too careless!"

"Edward, move aside. We can't avoid this. And you're out of gold coins, aren't you?" Loki was preparing to devise a strategy! If Edward had to "spend" again this time...

Upon seeing this, Edward III silently unleashed "Iron Skin" (increases the squad's armor by 3%). The sorcerer's skill set is extremely diverse, containing many "useless" skills. (Edward had casually learned a few minor skills that he considered useful.)

"My gold coins? 800G left," Edward said.

"Step back, and I won't hunt anymore, so you won't complain about my violence! Our mission is to 'negotiate' with the dragons, not to farm equipment. Besides, it's unlikely that the two of us can kill the final boss—the Black Dragon King!" Loki instructed.

"Kill Black..." Edward was shocked! He couldn't even bear to think about it!

"That's a real ancient mythical beast! Level 350+! Could Loki really possess such formidable combat power with the help of the 'Mjolnir'?"
