Dark Eldar

88-year-old human mage

Although Irete is recognized as a "pure-blooded elf," the blood of "warlike" flows in his veins. His father, Ire, was once a "half-night elf" of unknown origin. (Night elves are an ancient, mutated branch of elves, with the attribute of "bloodlust")

Due to the passage of time, and the fact that the "discriminatory forces" within the Elven race at the time had long been eradicated by King Ire, everything was forgotten forever, as if the Elven King had done nothing wrong. His son, Irete, and daughter, the Elven Princess Eliza, were naturally also without fault. Elder Izo of the Mysterious Island remained completely silent on the matter. He believed that "postnatal 'care' and 'natural environment' (purification) can change the 'bloodthirsty' nature of the Night. The gentle and refined Eliza is a perfect example!"

The limping barbarian king followed behind Iret. In his opinion, "This young elven prince, Iret, will definitely be able to defeat the Dark Messenger Dark someday..."

"Elite Barbarian King, please wait outside. I don't need your assistance for now! Of course, you can leave if you're bored," Irete instructed.

"Very well, Prince Iret. I've decided to wait outside," the Barbarian King replied. He wanted to supervise, or "follow," the entire time. He dared not neglect the task assigned by Ludal, and felt it necessary to do so.

Inside the water dungeon, the "tenacious soldiers" saw the unfamiliar "elf race" and began to discuss among themselves.

"Look! Is he the legendary 'Holy War' of the demon race? He doesn't seem like it!" a tall "ancestor" asked the human next to him.

"Look at his weapon? I'm sure it's an enchanted blade!" said a thief-like "Kro." (Kro are a unique mutated race in Kevin Garnier, similar to the Ludar; some are burly, others are emaciated.)

"No, look at his pointy ears. I reckon he can hear everything we say."

"His skin is so fair!" The optimistic human female assassin, imprisoned, couldn't help but admire the "handsome man."

"I am Irete, an elf from the World Tree. You don't need to look at me like that!" Irete introduced herself.

"The World Tree? Never heard of it."

"All we know is that there's a Talking Island at the southernmost tip. There seems to be a divine tree there that can bring the dead back to life," an elderly human mage stated. (Level 33, staff removed)

"Our World Tree doesn't have the ability to resurrect the dead. But it can revive and heal," Irete described.

"I see you are suffering terribly in the water. Unfortunately, I am a warrior and cannot use my magic to absorb water."

"It's nothing! It's not your fault! We can feel your kindness."

The older human mage continued, "They want you to persuade us to surrender, don't they?"

Inside the dungeon, everyone fell silent. The white-haired mage seemed to represent the "unyielding soldiers."

"Hmm. Unfortunately, I don't have much experience. I don't know what you want." Ire said honestly.

"Insight" was far too difficult for the hot-tempered Irete. His "bloodlust" was something even he couldn't control, let alone "change" the "free will" of others. His wise sister Eliza and Elder Izo had long ago advised Irete to keep a low profile in public, lest his "weakness" be discovered—especially on the battlefield. "Bloodlust"—that was an absolutely "king-level" talent!

"Oh? That doesn't matter. We don't want to be those ugly! I heard they're dark creatures? We're looking for a suitable leader, and I think you'd be more suitable!" The older human mage pointed at Ilet, voicing the thoughts of the "stubborn soldiers." They didn't know that in this other world, even the elves, with their perfect "appearances," were declining, and no one could save the "proud" elven race...

"What are your conditions?" Irete asked timidly. The facts were already very clear, yet he still had to ask.

"We will serve and follow you unconditionally! Great Elven Prince, Irete!" The elder human mage raised his shackled right hand and swore an oath.
