Dark Eldar

81 Good People

Deep in the black rock forest, smoke billows from burning trees. Polluters are everywhere. (Levels 17-38)

As for the "forest spirits" Loki mentioned, where are they now? "Have they truly abandoned their millennia-old obsessions and submitted to the Black Dragon King?"

Loki felt very uneasy. The low-level "Corruptors" and the charred "Treemen" dared not attack him again. He returned disappointed, having not found a single "Fire-Burning Dragon Scale".

"Loki, even the forest elves have changed, what can't be changed? Perhaps you are right," Edward III said frankly.

"Waaaaah!"

In some places, the fire was out of control, and Jiao Shuren was burning and screaming in agony!

"Let me help you!" Loki said, swinging the Mjolnir, the Creator's Hammer, at the area engulfed in flames.

In an instant! Under the intervention of the divine artifact, the "Dragonfire" shrank, transforming into a ball of "fire element" (blue). Loki didn't pick it up; he didn't need this material. (The "Fire Elder" of the "Otherworld" possessed far more advanced "materials.")

Jiao Shuren was stunned!

"If we had had this weapon earlier, we wouldn't have had to suffer for generations!" the tree man complained.

"I'm sorry, Tree Spirit. I can't fully help you, I can only alleviate your immediate pain. Where are your allies, the elves who protect the forest?" Loki asked.

"Hey! Don't even mention it! For some reason, their thinking has completely changed this generation. They've gone to 'bear the shoes' of the Black Dragon Official! I've never seen such spineless elves before. If their ancestors knew, how could they possibly live in the sacred Black Stone Forest?" The Scorched Tree Man was furious! His lifespan was five times longer than that of the forest elves.

"Edward, I knew it, I guessed right," Loki said, turning his head.

Edward III shook his head helplessly. The nearby map showed that the Black Dragon Legion was the most powerful. To side with their ancestral enemy? Indeed, it went against the "will" of the forest spirits!

Before leaving, to thank Loki for his help, the Tree Man gave him two "dragon scales" free of charge. Loki gave Edward one.

"Farewell, venerable treant elders, may you find many more Fire Dragon Scales!" Loki said goodbye.

"Goodbye, young man." The treant waved the charred, withered branches.

"Which part are you planning to strengthen?" Edward asked from his Void Beast mount.

"Needless to say? Add the chest area! The heart area can't take the burning sensation! I've experienced that countless times when I was collecting materials for the artifact!" Loki suggested.

The crafting process is very simple. Loki put on his mage's outfit and felt a chill all over his body! (Not permanent; the fire resistance effect will gradually decrease after 1000 hours.)

"The dragon scales on our bodies are extremely precious. If we hadn't helped the treants put out the fire, they would never have given them to us, no matter what."

Loki said his mage gear looked somewhat damaged. (Battle Damage) (Note: Purple +12, dropped; stats will be detailed later).

Edward doesn't have his warlock set yet; he's still wearing his old intermediate-level magic robes. (Purple, blacksmithed, base and secondary stats are not as good as Loki's.)

"Loki, when you came, you clearly said there was no distinction between good and evil, so why did you help the treants extinguish the dragon fire?" Edward III asked. He felt he always had many questions for Loki. Before, when he was still a mid-level mage, he didn't dare to "develop freely" too much... ("Advanced," whether one can reach level 80 elder depends entirely on each individual; a very few may even "go astray.")

"I never expect anything in return! If I had known the treant would give us dragon scales, I wouldn't have helped him. His 'whoosh-whoosh' was unbearable. I just did what I wanted to do, it was nothing! Please note! This is different from the core traditions of our otherworld! However, I will never break the rules of this otherworld, what about you, Edward?" Loki asked seriously.

Edward III secretly gave his "junior brother" a thumbs-up! He particularly admired him.

"I am just like you! Always a good man," Edward III replied.
