Dark Eldar

"It's getting late. If we go any further, we'll encounter even more red-named monsters. We need to find an inn to stay in quickly," Loki said, riding his human beginner mount and looking towards the setting sun.

His mount is a regular white pony, level 40. It has no combat abilities, cannot be named, cannot talk to, and cannot be raised as a pet. It's purely for transportation; you feed it hay, and when it's full, it will smile (an emoticon will appear), increasing its activity level (the opposite is true when it's hungry). Simple dialogue includes: "Hello! Master~", "I'm tired and need to rest for a while~", and there are also simple interactions like hooves whinnying and snuggling. It's a decent starting mount.

Loki sometimes uses his mount as a conversation starter. The pony, in turn, merely nods symbolically and responds with monosyllabic "hmm," "hoo," or "tsk," indicating only its friendliness.

Down the mountain, Loki spotted a house. Loki rode off at full speed.

"Hello, traveler! Welcome to the Old Friends Inn on the Vadoll Plains (203, 547)." (Common language, slightly lisping, characteristic of orcish pronunciation)

At the entrance of the dilapidated Old Friend Inn, a middle-aged man who looked like an orc (level 67) stood early in the morning, ready to welcome Loki.

"Young man, you must be exhausted. Quickly dismount and give me the reins, I'll take you to the inn to rest," the orc uncle said warmly.

"Wow! What a magnificent mount! This is a rare sight around here. Our velociraptor mounts are strong, but they are nowhere near as beautiful as yours," said the orc uncle, stroking the white horse's mane.

"Please wait a moment." With that, the orc uncle went to the stable by the door to tie up his horse.

Loki looked at the swaying sign on the roof of the Old Friend Hotel and felt that the Vadore Plain was particularly desolate.

"Quick, young man, the wind is picking up, and it's getting dark. Please follow me." The orc uncle dusted himself off.

"Old Friends Inn loves young travelers like you the most. I haven't seen a warrior's suit in ages. Let me see the quality of your plate armor. Is it as thick and heavy as steel?" The orc uncle said, leading Loki into the inn.

"It's alright, brother, I'm used to it. It was a bit heavy at first," Loki said.

The lobby of the Old Friend Hotel is about 80 square meters in size and has only 4 dining tables. The lighting is an old-fashioned kerosene lamp (an engineering item).

The orc uncle walked into the bar, habitually wiped the table, took the menu from the glass cabinet, and respectfully handed it to Loki.

"Young man, you must be starving. Take a look at the menu options first. Although I'm an orc, I have a business license, so I won't rip you off. We're an officially run shop. After all, in this barren place, I also have to fend off the harassment from the nearby monsters. Damn it! They always like to come here every Monday to plunder our food." While speaking, the orc uncle poured a cup of hot tea and placed it in front of Loki.

"Every Monday? Is it that punctual?" Loki asked in disbelief.

"Yes, damn Monday! I hate Monday!" The orc uncle bared his teeth, gritting them as if he wanted to fight the monster.

Loki knew the orc was just venting; he'd seen too many angry NPCs, and he knew they were mostly cowards, just talking the talk.

Loki glanced at the Old Friend Inn's menu. He noticed the official "Classic WoW logo." A circular trademark with a colorful, Classic WoW-exclusive magical seal in the center, surrounded by a prominent scrolling, dynamic anti-counterfeiting graphic and flowing patterns. Although the Old Friend Inn's menu was only a few pages long, the official Classic WoW logo was unmistakable. (Note: Officially operated inns offer double experience bonuses.)

"I didn't expect the Classic WoW system to be so well-developed. Even in such a desolate place, there are officially operated inns," Loki thought.

"Are these all pre-made dishes?" Loki asked casually as he flipped through the menu.

"Yes, as you can see, I'm the only one running this place. I have a refrigerator (engineered) and a microwave (engineered). Don't worry, the monsters have taken all the food that's about to expire," the man explained.

"Uncle, how do you fight off the monsters? Can you beat them?" Loki asked curiously.

"Well, I wouldn't dare. If I were to die, my life would be over. I always give them expired food. After all, people can't eat expired food," the orc uncle said.

"Haha, I thought you could fight monsters too?" Loki laughed.

"I'm not a hero, and I don't have any skills, how am I supposed to fight? Kill monsters? I wouldn't dare." The orc uncle was amused and burst into laughter.

This confirms Loki's various speculations. He originally thought that there should be many villages like Archer Village in the Classic version, where heroes are deliberately nurtured. Reality proves that Archer Village is very unique.

"Pre-made dishes, whatever you have, please. Here's 10 gold coins. I see the most expensive dish on your menu is only 3 gold coins. With accommodation, 5 gold coins per night should be enough, right? The remaining 2 gold coins are your tip." Loki took 10 gold coins out of his backpack, folded them, and placed them on the bar.

"I knew you were a very distinguished guest. Don't worry, I'm not going to make you any pre-made dishes. I have my own cooking skills, haha, how about it? How about trying my homemade dishes?" The orc uncle probably saw that Loki was being generous, so he prepared to sell Loki some delicious food.

"How much are the private kitchen dishes?" Loki asked.

"That's our orcs' favorite, how about velociraptor sushi? And listen, I'm not talking about mount meat, that's illegal. I'm talking about monster meat, it's incredibly tender. That ruthless bounty hunter sold it to me; he used this raw meat to pay for his room. Keep that a secret, I didn't give him a card, he used my management card to stay at the hotel," the orc uncle whispered.

"Okay, I'll keep it a secret. Name your price! I love eating dinosaur meat." Loki hadn't eaten dinosaur meat in a long time.

The orc uncle's face lit up with joy. After thinking about the math problem for a moment, he said, "Young man, how about you add 5 gold coins per meal? That makes it 8 gold coins. Lodging is still 5 gold coins per day, so you only need to give me another 5 gold coins. I'll just use that to replace that bounty hunter's room key; it'll be safer that way."

Loki thought it was acceptable and paid another 7 gold coins. He said, "This is the money for tonight. Is that enough? I'll pay again before my meal tomorrow. The extra 2 gold coins are still your tip."

"YYDS! Of course that's enough. Please wait a moment, I'll go to the kitchen to cook right away. I'd be happy to serve you. It'll be ready soon." The orc uncle hummed a little tune as he went inside to cook.

"YYDS? What does that mean?" Loki muttered to himself. This word wasn't in his vocabulary, nor in the Common Language.

"What?" the orc uncle asked as he turned on the stove in the kitchen.

"Oh, nothing," Loki replied. He wasn't interested in learning about the orcs' catchphrases at the moment.

"How much is the beer?" Loki asked loudly as he saw the beer in the liquor cabinet.

"What?" The orc uncle didn't hear clearly.

"A beer, please!" Loki raised his voice.

"One gold coin for one bottle, take it yourself, young man. You can pay me back later," the orc uncle said.

Loki walked to the liquor cabinet and selected a bottle of "Koluna" beer (blue, increases stamina by 10 points for 15 minutes, can trigger the "Drunken" state).

He easily opened the bottle cap with the edge of his wristband, and without using a glass, drank directly from the crystal bottle.
