Loki walked heavily (Warrior's basic gear, Fighter's plate armor set; blue; free) out of the Regent City class selection hall. He chose: Warrior!

In the class selection hall, above the ancient rock wall where the warrior's cursor was, the framed picture hung steadily, motionless. The legendary hero, Olay I, did not emerge to warmly greet Loki. It seems Loki and Elaine are different; although both are from another world, perhaps Elaine's talent is more outstanding? Or perhaps it's because of the God of War, Demacia?

Loki remained relatively calm in the face of this outcome. He thought, "I might have been a little disappointed just now, but after all, I do have some life experience in this other world." (Hidden attribute)

Now everything has to start all over again, and it's inevitable that everyone will feel a little out of place.

"Congratulations, Loki. This is a weapon I personally gifted to you. Gladiator's Blade (One-handed sword, blue +5)." Before leaving, Senior Brother Lyson, the job selection guide, initiated a trade request.

"Thank you, senior brother. I appreciate your kindness, but I don't really want this sword right now. If you have any skill books, could you give me a few beginner and intermediate level ones? I don't want to keep going to the store to buy them." Loki had just seen the skill books.

"That's easy!" With that, Leisen casually picked up a few beginner and intermediate skill books from the bar counter.

"Well, take this whole stack. There are warrior's, mage's, and even blind monk's in there. I'm too lazy to tell them apart, so just take them all. You can't activate any skill books that aren't yours. Just throw them on the street, someone will pick them up. Consider it helping me hand out flyers~~" Senior Brother Leisen said with a smile.

Senior Brother Lyssen continued to escort Loki out of the hall. Loki walked ahead, and when they were almost at the door (the hidden vortex door), he stopped, bowed to Senior Brother Lyssen, and expressed his gratitude. He didn't dislike Senior Brother Lyssen; after all, he was a high-level NPC, and perhaps Senior Brother Lyssen would become a powerful character in the future.

Leisen watched Loki leave.

"Young people always have to go through hardships, don't they?" Senior Brother Leisen murmured to himself. Perhaps he had spent too much time alone in the job selection hall, and he always liked to ask and answer his own questions.

The moment Loki stepped out of the job selection gate (teleportation without perception; advanced), he vaguely heard his senior brother Lysen's "instructions".

"If this happened in another world, I certainly wouldn't think much of it. But now, facing this situation and hearing Senior Brother Leisen's reflections, I realize that I do need more experience to gain anything," Loki thought.

On the way back to the Meggle Hotel (131, 227), Loki flipped through a skill book about warriors. The first skill he unlocked was "Brute Force Charge"!

[Brute Force Charge]: Quickly move in front of the enemy, immobilizing them for 1 second! Deal 8 damage to the enemy and grant you 10 Rage. Requires a range of 5-25 yards.

Since Loki is just starting out, his proficiency level is currently displayed as "0". 300 is the first stage, which is when Savage Charge level 1 can be upgraded to Savage Charge level 2. The damage and the amount of rage returned will increase accordingly.

No incantation is needed (it's instant cast); just cast it directly on the target. Loki has already set up the hotkey. This skill is instant-cast, and Loki kept practicing his attack steps against the air. Since it's a peaceful area with no monsters or targets nearby, he could only pretend to charge at the air.

"This skill is a bit like a mage's Blink, but it's so hard on the back." Loki was sweating profusely from running. (The immobilization spell during Savage Charge requires 100% power from the waist with each strike!)

It was just dawn. The various NPCs along the street were already busy setting up stalls, selling fried food, and various other small businesses were gradually opening up. Loki watched everyone bustling about and thought, "(????) Hey! Being an NPC seems pretty tough. I shouldn't be too dramatic. I should practice hard and try to reach level two of Savage Charge as soon as possible."

The three-star Meger Hotel (131, 231) has a very luxurious lobby. As expected of an officially operated hotel, it is a completely different world from the street stalls and guesthouses outside.

"You're late, Brother Loki." (Common language)

The bartender on duty this morning was a handsome young human. Loki didn't know his name, but the bartender knew Loki's. It seems the NPCs do their homework; they're not just coasting along.

"Hello!" Loki nodded politely in response. The bartender, seeing Loki's warrior gear (fighter plate armor set; blue), didn't seem curious, nor did he ask Elaine where she was.

"Good morning, sir, and enjoy your meal!" said the restaurant waitress, a girl (human, slightly plump), as she handed over the plate with a smile.

She didn't know Loki's name, or perhaps she did, but hotel training only allowed bartenders to chat with guests; others weren't permitted to call guests by name. (The official "Classic" hotel has very strict requirements, so NPCs are probably paid much more.)

The hotel breakfast is still a buffet. It includes bread, cheese, sushi, oatmeal, dragon fruit, milkshakes, bacon rolls, pasta, fried rice, milk, etc.

Loki, however, showed no interest. When he saw the cheese and milk, he deliberately chose sushi slices and soy milk. He didn't eat the cheese or the raisins, afraid that he would miss Elaine.

After having a quick breakfast, Loki returned to his room.

After a quick wash, Loki collapsed onto the soft bed. He was sleepy, but couldn't fall asleep immediately. He wasn't tired, just felt a little... ...

"It's kind of funny. I just inexplicably became a warrior, even though I originally wanted to play a berserker (Berserker; third job advancement; talent tree). Elaine's sudden 'promotion'? Combined with my own ordinariness, it's actually quite interesting? Maybe that's the charm of Classic WoW..."
