"The Zerg didn't even reach a significant scale in another world, but they're growing wildly in Classic WoW?" Loki grumbled as he fought quest monsters.

"Yeah, Loki, I noticed it too. They're not high-level, but they have the enormous size of elites, and they even have white spots. I'm really impressed. I don't want to use physical attacks, which I'm not good at, and have to tilt my head back to chop them down! Just thinking about it makes my wrist hurt a little." Elaine put down her staff and shook her wrist.

She wasn't actually the pampered type. When she was taking care of her father, the God of War Demacia, at the Demacia Farm, she often went out hunting, painstakingly gathering delicious wild fruits and cooking.

"Hey, friend! Are you a warrior? How come your damage is so high? I see you're even getting frequent critical hits!"

He was a novice human hero doing a quest nearby. A strange little boy greeted him (class: none; combat class not defined for level 20 and below). He looked about the same age as Loki and the others, around fifteen or sixteen years old.

"Hello! My name is Loki, and this is my sister Elaine. We're from another world. What's your name? Where are you from?" After killing a man-eating spider, Loki deliberately let it pass without picking it up, as a sign of politeness and not wanting to steal the monster's kill.

"My name is Jack, and I'm from the level 2 map, Moo," the little boy said. He looked like a boy who was slightly... well, you couldn't quite put your finger on it. Perhaps he was too young, or maybe he had ulterior motives.

Loki didn't think much of it; he had seen all sorts of heroes in this other world.

"Level 2 maps? Aren't your level 2 maps already short of metal resources?" Loki asked. He found it unbelievable, since level 2 maps were mostly free-to-play, and he'd heard that metal resources had long been depleted.

"That's right, Loki. Our family has accumulated a lot of resources in the Kingdom of Moo for generations. As the winner of the family, I naturally enjoy the highest treatment," Jack said proudly.

"You're amazing, I give you a thumbs up," Loki said.

Loki believed that as a hero from another world (paid model), he should naturally act with a higher status.

Elaine also gave Jack a thumbs-up, though she was somewhat reluctant.

While Jack was introducing himself, Loki was busy killing three large spiders for Jack for free. The larger the spider, the more quest items it would drop. If you were lucky, you could get three spider legs at once.

After collecting several waves of free resources from the level 2 map, Jack politely left a few gold coins and then departed.

He knew that the woman next to him was likely Elaine, the pretty girl receiving treatment, and she seemed uninterested in him? Like she was hard to approach?

"Hey, my DPS output is nowhere near as good as that warrior named Loki..." Jack muttered to himself, a little annoyed.

After Jack had walked away, Loki looked at the glittering gold coins in the grass. He didn't say anything.

"Ugh, who cares about your stinking money?! You're always staring at me, boohoo~ I don't like it," Elaine complained, making a crying face. (/CRY;crying)

Elaine is the daughter of the God of War, Demacia, in another world—how noble that is!

"Ignore him, Elaine. Keep watching me fight the monster. Oh, by the way, I have a way to improve your staff proficiency. You can practice on thin air, just use basic attacks. Give it a try."

"Got it, Loki. I'll work hard too. Whoosh! Whoosh! How about that? See how awesome I am??" Elaine gestured at the air, his staff proficiency level skyrocketing "+1+1+1+1!" Ranking up pretty fast!

Loki is level 7, and Elaine is level 7 too. During Loki's monster-hunting adventures, experience points are split equally in party mode by default. Therefore, Elaine's leveling up is not slow.

"Let's fight a little longer and wait until we reach level 10 before we leave. I don't want to do any more quests today," Loki said, seeking Elaine's opinion while he drank a potion.

At this point, Elaine hadn't learned any priest skills yet. Early leveling usually requires using physical attacks to defeat monsters. Having a warrior guide her would make things a bit easier and less arduous.

"Okay, whatever you say, Loki." Elaine agreed. She didn't want to see Jack again, especially after the strange look he'd given her earlier. Elaine's intuition was accurate; after all, she was a high-ranking priest in this other world, with high comprehension and astonishing abilities of judgment and psychic communication.

Loki had gleaned a considerable amount of information from their brief conversation, but he didn't intend to tell Elaine, fearing it would burden her.

As Loki fought the monsters, he silently made his own summary in his mind.

"First, the Classic version should be open to all multiworlds, not just the main map, but also level 2 and even level 3 maps."

"Hey ;-), watch me chop you up, you big-footed spider monster."

In the fields, spiders occasionally unleash their web-spinning abilities (level 8, skill details omitted), interrupting Loki's thoughts. (Sneak attack)

"Critical hit 19! Critical hit 17! Critical hit 15!"

After Loki leveled up, his strength attribute increased exponentially, and almost every attack he made dealt critical damage. The man-eating spiders stealing corn from the fields became much less effective against him.

They flipped belly up in two or three hits. Loki, having collected all the quest items, was too lazy to pick them up. He considered those few gold coins as compensation to the insectoids. If Loki didn't pick them up, some "clever" man-eating spider might pick them up later; after all, a few gold coins were quite a lot in the starting area—enough to buy several cartloads of corn, so he wouldn't have to steal crops anymore (Hidden Easter egg: The birth of an elite insectoid boss).

Loki glanced at Elaine's experience bar; she was almost level 9 too. Elaine was still practicing her staff proficiency. When she got serious, she might be even more serious than Loki. After all, Elaine's secondary profession was one of the few elder-level alchemists in this world.

During a break from fighting monsters, Loki summarized three pieces of information. He spoke softly about the last two, saying them casually before dismissing them. He felt that nothing was yet confirmed and it was inappropriate to draw conclusions hastily, nor did he want to become a "worrying man out of nothing" or a "fearful man" (an ancient Eastern proverb).

These ancient proverbs about the East were taught to him by Elder Sun Yun. They roughly mean: Don't underestimate your own strength, and don't overestimate your opponent's strength or your own abilities.

Loki always remembered it!
