There's a reason why "Otherworld" is a level-one world map and even uses a VIP paid model: its inclusiveness is extremely high.

Loki, the sorcerer from another world and the former owner of the legendary artifact "Hammer of the Creator" in pink, also received a notification from Dark to "circumvent the Great Firewall".

The system's description of Dark's team's actions is limited to a single line of small print: "Dark, the Dark Messenger, and his friends have returned. Prepare yourselves for a new battle..." (Common Language)

Loki, a fully leveled mage, teams up with his former classmate Edward III, also a fully leveled mage, and they agree to go hunting in the outskirts of this other world.

Despite the short distance, this place is a monster-hunting paradise. During the day, the two of them teamed up and rode their respective rare (purple) mounts here for a leisurely stroll. They did not use any magical teleportation devices.

Edward III's status in this alternate world is higher than Loki's. Back then, he was almost Schopenhauer's successor, reaching the level of a first mate's successor. Unfortunately, the landscape has changed. Now he can only adapt for the time being. In this alternate world, he still holds VIP5 status, but he no longer possesses the dazzling popularity he once had.

Edward III, in his time, was a classically trained actor. He belonged to the traditional "dogmatic" ideology (relatively rigid, conservative, and following a traditional path of advancement and plot).

Edward III was only out for a short while to relax. His current position wasn't particularly high, only compared to his former status. Although Elder Schopenhauer had retired, Edward III was still a nobleman with high prestige, and he remained a key figure being groomed by the other world. However, Edward III had lost his former "vanity."

Unlike an intermediate mage's meditation technique, which requires sitting upright, a high-level mage can meditate lying down—a kind of VIP perk.

As dawn broke, Edward III dressed himself, washed up, and descended from the wooden attic to prepare for breakfast.

Loki had been up for a while. When he saw Edward III, he picked up a glass of milk and greeted him, "Did you sleep well, Johann Strauss?"

At the dwarven inn in this other world, Loki didn't call Edward by his real name, fearing it might cause trouble.

The name of a high-ranking mage from another world is very well-known outside of that world. Loki also has his own "alias".

"Peter White, are you alright? You're up so early, aren't you sleepy?" Edward III asked politely in return.

They both ordered a Western-style breakfast: milk, bread, avocado and vegetable salad, and foil-wrapped sausage. Price: 5 gold coins.

The NPC at the Dwarf Inn is a short, fat dwarf who doesn't talk much and doesn't like to chat with guests. (These otherworldly NPCs are real people; this isn't news. It's a free trial, and there's even a lifetime free trial. Of course, you can change jobs later, but the cost? Quite expensive. The conditions? Extremely stringent. NPC job changes involve a model, racial differences, and overlapping storylines. For ordinary NPCs, 95% isn't enough, and even spending money doesn't guarantee 100% success. You need "guidance," your own "awakening," and wealth, making it extremely difficult. In comparison, wealth seems less important.)

In the early stages, the beautiful and charming young girl, the farmer's daughter, Elisa, changed her class (MS) and received help from the mage Loki and Elaine, the daughter of Demacia. After undergoing a rigorous preliminary test in another world, she was fortunate enough to pass the verification and obtain the advanced status of VIP1.

Imagine how difficult it is for an ordinary NPC to become a hero! Some might consider taking a step back and becoming a "free agent"? Forget about it, daring to pick up a weapon and slay monsters requires courage!! (CDK required; first recharge bonus)

So unless you possess extraordinary willpower or dominance like Luddar, or an indomitable spirit like Barbarian King, you can't become a top-tier solo player (using a prepaid subscription model). It's much more straightforward to just create a hero directly. The cost of changing classes from NPCs, leveling up, and becoming VIP1 (monthly/quarterly subscription model) is 100 times that of creating a new beginner hero.

Therefore, ordinary heroes are deterred... (Giving up when faced with difficulties, the conventional route is cheaper, but the gameplay is somewhat boring and monotonous).
