Dark Eldar
409 Indigenous Heroes
Dark, the former Dark Messenger, possessed boundless ambition. His cold-bloodedness and ruthlessness were innate. His combat prowess far exceeded his rank. Dark's level suppression was severe; in the past, in this alternate world, it wouldn't have been a problem, but in the level 2 map, it made the free "native heroes" uneasy. They had never encountered such a formidable and ruthless character. Initially, the Oni race could contend with him.
Having no natural enemies to suppress them for a long time, the Oni clan gradually became arrogant. They succumbed to the allure of a beautiful woman and became complacent; this is an optional plot point. The Dark Legion suddenly appeared, assisted by the strategist Ludar, who was already skilled in "tactics"! His specialty was achieving great victories with limited resources and defeating the strong with the weak.
Dark also possesses extensive experience in leadership and decision-making. His time as a Dark Messenger on the level 1 map broadened his horizons considerably. It's important to understand that a Dark Messenger is essentially a "diplomat," a versatile individual. Dark thrived on the level 2 map, but he wasn't satisfied. He planned to conquer an even more "convincing" map: the "Otherworld." (Main image)
Logically speaking, both are "multi-world" environments, one free and one paid, with richer graphics, sound effects, monsters, adventures, and storylines. So why did Dark choose to give up being king and return to a more difficult map? Was it simply for revenge? Or to "seek the truth"? For thrills? Or perhaps a triumphant return home? ...
Strategist Ludar, the former King of Rebels. A top-tier player. At level 5055, over 5000, he doesn't need to fight much to gain a huge amount of guild experience. This mechanism is the same in all guilds. In the sacred otherworldly guild, the daily experience gained by the elders through meditation is also considerable.
Ludall was also very much looking forward to returning to the other world, although he did not show it on the surface.
He knew better than anyone in this otherworldly police station the saying, "Serving a ruler is like serving a tiger."
Ludar was the second-in-command of the Dark Legion, second only to the leader, and the man Dark trusted most. However! He still dared not "speak freely."
"Being careful with your words and actions" was a principle Ludal consistently adhered to. He dared not indulge in the slightest excess. He knew the consequences of speaking recklessly or making jokes. Within the Dark Legion, there were many meritorious officials, and among them, quite a few were killed on the spot by the Dark Legion because they couldn't control their tongues.
Everyone knows Dark is a tyrant. Over time, some generals might mistakenly believe Dark is a "normal person."
Dark's cold-bloodedness has been consistent from beginning to end! It's in his nature, a model of bloodlust!
If one mistakenly believes that Dark was amused one day and therefore has a sense of humor, then one is not far from death.
Rudal understood this perfectly. In his daily speech, Rudal tried to maintain objectivity and subtly lean 87-88 degrees towards his patron, Dac. A slight bias, but without flattery. This was the most difficult and mentally taxing part. Fortunately, Rudal knew that in times of crisis, it was best to avoid direct confrontation!
Dac often gets angry, and Ludall has long since learned to avoid him.
Dac often picks fights with people, and Ludar tries to avoid him.
Duck was short of money, so Ludar used the excuse of looking for funds to evade Duck's surveillance. The rest was easy; he began recruiting under Duck's banner. When it came time to actually use his men, Ludar would offer moderate solutions, avoiding both casualties and losses. Duck was very satisfied. Ludar was practically Duck's "metaphor," able to guess Duck's true thoughts (which had to be kept secret, or he'd be dead!) and accurately predict when Duck would "act up."
The mysterious high-ranking official has already returned home. He needs to hurry back to report.
The "core leadership" immediately granted Dark's request and issued a private letter (written by a mysterious figure) informing Dark of the time and location. (To minimize map-related disturbances and maintain Kevin Garney's normal operations.)
Despite his cold-blooded nature, Dak remained remarkably cautious when faced with official documents from the core leadership. He needed to be prepared and make arrangements, so he immediately summoned Ludal for a meeting to discuss the matter.
The council chamber wasn't particularly luxurious. The decor was somber and heavy, with cool-toned sliding wooden doors. (Material: High-quality ebony)
The huge council hall contained only two people: Dak and Ludal.
"Take a look," Dak said, tossing the document to Ludal.
Ludall knelt on one knee and solemnly received the document with both hands, his trembling slightly (feigned caution). Although it was just the two of them, Ludall still had to complete all the necessary courtly rituals.
"Grudin Castle??" Ludar said softly, feigning confusion.
"Go and make the arrangements. Take 15 of the strongest DPS characters, and fewer healers and supports. Just bring some decorations." Dark ordered!
He's the command-style leader. He doesn't like to communicate too much with his subordinates; just follow orders, don't ask questions, and make sure things are done well enough to satisfy Dacker.
Ludar knew Dak's character well. After receiving the order, he bowed, slowly stepped back, clasped his hands in a fist, bowed his head and bent over, and slowly disappeared from Dak's sight.
Dark closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and gazed out the cold window. He felt generally satisfied. If he weren't, he would have killed his beloved general long ago. There was no emotion, no affection whatsoever.
Ludal knew that saying things like "The Barbarian King is my good brother!" or "I'll immediately dismiss the former Barbarian King" was pointless. The important thing was to get things done perfectly; Lord Dark only wanted results. And it had to be done quickly! Quick feedback!!! (Note: Avoiding the direct confrontation doesn't mean retreating far away; that would be suicide.)
Without further ado, Ludar mounts the Legion's fastest mount (400 bonus; Hellfire Steed; Rare) and heads to Gludin Castle. (Coordinates: 313579)
