Dark Eldar

374 Equipment Chapter Concludes

Elder Morza of the Otherworld accepted Elder Sun Yun's proposal in his heart. He did not question any person, hero, or strategist.

However, no one else had the right to interfere with the implementation process and pace. Shortly after the meeting ended, Morza issued a commanding order: (Golden font; World Public Channel; Task permissions set to "Available to all")

"The other world is about to enter a brand new future chapter, and all the heroes are eager to try their skills! So, let's rewrite the new chapter of version 31 together! Remember! We will never succumb to fate!! Attention! Starting today, every hero who donates 100 weapons, or plate armor or chainmail, regardless of level or quality, can exchange them for 1 gold coin! There is no limit to the number of times!"

Every hero, both offline and online, is rejoicing! Every hero has received an "invitation" from another world. (Note: Offline, it's just before Christmas, and Morza seems to be cooperating with "Order" in a holiday event. Online heroes are unaffected. As for version updates, it's like a method of calculating centuries—there's 31, there's 308. We'll all follow the other world version, because some maps update quickly, while others, like the desolate maps, update more slowly.)

Even NPCs want to participate in this new "public quest".

There are absolutely no conditions required. As long as you have 100 weapons in your inventory, whether they are plate armor or chainmail, you can participate in the collection and exchange quest. And the reward is only 1 gold coin! Keep in mind that the current black market exchange rate is 15 gold coins for 1 gold coin!

The low-level monsters in the beginner area are in dire straits. Everyone has immediately joined the monster-slaying frenzy. This has led to a severe equipment shortage in no time. Low-level monsters, especially non-elite ones, no longer drop any low-level white weapons; some even have difficulty dropping meat (for cooking). ("Drop rate" in any advanced virtual world is absolutely random. For example, wild boars might occasionally drop daggers, but if you farm wild boars excessively, the drop rate will automatically decrease. Previously, killing 10 wild boars would easily get you a dagger; now you need to kill 100, 1000, or even 10000 wild boars to get a single white dagger. Advanced virtual worlds have virtually no bugs, and backdoors are impossible.)

The "Equipment Recycling Officer" is a mirror NPC, and the identity of the Elder from another world wasn't suitable. Elder Morza randomly selected a "Mysterious Person" (AI) from the quest backend to serve as the recycling officer. This was done for fairness. Imagine if Elder Morza had let a single account (high or low) act as the recycling officer; there could be "problems" involving embezzlement, hoarding, and even false accusations. To prevent the invasion of dark forces at its root, Morza decisively appointed the "Mysterious Person" (AI) hero as the "Equipment Recycling Officer," a truly wise decision.

Not long after the Grand Elder of the Otherworld issued the mission, a large amount of gold ingots flowed out of the Otherworld Guild.

The other world completely disrupted the goblin race's business, which had been built up over thousands of years. The six major cities and the most intelligent goblin families jointly reported to "Order" and requested "judgment"! The gold coins that the goblins had secretly hoarded (in enormous quantities) had all been devalued! The goblin leaders were all on the verge of tears.

"Order" directly rejected the goblin's application. It's important to understand that with the devaluation of gold coins and ingots, the biggest beneficiaries are Order itself and its core layer. (Above that are "operators," "development teams," "agents," etc.)

In the Otherworld Guild, most elders didn't quite understand Elder Morza's actions, but none of them dared to question him, because they genuinely believed that all of Elder Morza's decisions were correct. The reason for this contradiction was probably just a habit.

Elder Sun Yun (max level) hadn't expected Elder Morza to have this trick up his sleeve, essentially pushing the level of Another World from 31 to 35 directly, limited only to the financial sector. But he dared not reveal it. "At the morning meeting, I was the one who proposed the city wall construction plan, which would require a huge expenditure. But Elder Morza is so bold, giving away the gold coins from the shop in such a low way?!"

In the dim light of the room, Elder Sun Yun pondered deeply. One thing he couldn't quite understand was: "Why did Grand Elder Morza collect so many weapons and equipment?"

Loki, far away on the new map, is also racking his brains over the same problem. Almost all advanced heroes with sufficient intelligence will notice this issue.

"break down!"

"break down!"

Loki FS and Elder Sun Yun FS both realized the same thing. Elder Sun Yun thought about it and felt a chill run down his spine. If this continued for a long time, how long could the guild's gold ingots last? He remembered that when they first started hoarding gold ingots, some elders had saved up money by scrimping and saving, just to increase their contribution points in the guild...

Elder Morza didn't consider any of this. He didn't tell anyone and directly issued this "unprecedented" world order. He probably knew exactly how many gold ingots the guild had. If this mission couldn't be carried out in the long term, it would definitely have a direct impact on Morza's own prestige and otherworldly worship value. Morza currently had the highest worship value in the otherworld.

Heroes, regardless of rank, were scrambling to sell everything in their backpacks, bank accounts, and auction houses to the "Equipment Recycler" (a mysterious AI).

In the eyes of every hero, "Yuanbao" is a genuine "treasure." (Note: Yuanbao are bound to the account; almost all items in the shop, including virtual currency, are bound. Gifting is limited to certain special items, such as pets and tokens of affection. Gifting also requires a certain level of intimacy.)
