Dark Eldar

373 Guild Vote [F11+T]

There's always a story waiting for you to uncover.

"That's right, I'm talking about the city wall project, building walls that soar into the clouds! This way, we can completely defend against foreign invasions (city defenses), preventing problems before they arise. Even if the Dark Eldar launch a full-scale attack, I don't think they can completely and quickly dismantle our thick walls. Moreover, the walls are constructed entirely of hardened steel (purple) with resistance bonuses, combined with bricks, making them extremely sturdy. I've tested it; even if we bombard them with arcane cannons for a whole year, our walls can still withstand the onslaught for a whole year."

Elder Sun Yun spoke at length in a well-organized manner, and all the elders present thought he had gone mad! You see, Elder Sun Yun was usually a very, very low-key elder and Dharma Master. People knew about his "governing by non-action" and "the golden mean." Although some Dharma Master elders did not quite understand the meaning of "the golden mean," they knew that Elder Sun Yun's excellent character was always low-key, reserved, and gentle.

The former Grand Elder of the Otherworld, Schopenhauer FS, had a sudden flash of inspiration! He knew about Junior Brother Sun Yun. His relationship with Elder Sun Yun was like that of Edward III and Loki, or Benjamin VI and Edward III—neither too close nor too distant, yet they understood each other well.

Elder Morza, seated in the main hall of the Otherworldly Temple, had initially expected today's meeting to be another boring and pointless affair. However, his eyes lit up when he heard Elder Sun Yun's suggestion. "This seems rather interesting..."

Morza (level 999 max) was already a very high level. His equipment, attribute bonuses, and ID completeness likely surpassed that of a "demigod." After taking power, he implemented some systemic changes, but for various reasons, he stagnated. He might be waiting for the Dark Eldar to suddenly appear, then trying to repeat the old "capture the king first" strategy. (Note: The 30 Order isn't that stupid. If they stick to old tricks or repeat previous versions, offline popularity might be severely affected!)

Previously, during the attack on the true villain "Morzaye," Morzaye participated. At that time, none of his fellow disciples in the other world looked down on him, simply because his name was almost identical to the villain's. Later, heroes, renowned heroes, and elders suffered heavy casualties, logged off, or transferred to other servers, leaving very few "veterans." "Joseph" became the most popular elder and mentored the outstanding Master "Schopenhauer." The reason Elder Schopenhauer doesn't compete with his predecessors now is precisely because of his greatness. "The ability to advance and retreat is true skill." Elder Schopenhauer's magnanimity has expanded once again. Perhaps this is him taking another step closer to "awakening," or perhaps it's a step backward. Currently, no one in the other world has the right or dares to comment on Master Schopenhauer.

"Please continue, Elder Sun Yun," Elder Morza said steadily. He was still thinking, and at the same time, he greatly respected Elder Sun Yun.

"Now, may I initiate a vote (F11T)? I'd like to conduct a public opinion poll first. After all, building a city costs money, just like when the great first generation of Lei Yin built this other world. I'm sure we're all familiar with this famous history." (F11T is a secret ballot system. You can formally submit an application to initiate a vote within the guild. You can click Agree √; Disagree ×; Abstain O;)

Morza nodded, indicating that he allowed the guild elders to participate in the vote. At the same time, Morza also created a copy of the guild poll, which he wanted to see the support rate among other mid-to-high-level mages.

The poll ended quickly after it was submitted and approved. No one abstained (secret). The efficiency of "office work" in this alternate world is quite high. Everyone has been raised with a serious and fast-paced environment.

The support rate on the Elders' Council (Advanced Group) side is 7333, and on the Otherworld Guild side it is 6801, so it should pass easily. However, it requires the personal approval of Elder Morza.

Elder Sun Yun looked at the voting results, which were roughly in line with his expectations, differing by about 10 points. He hadn't anticipated that the young mages of this other world were no longer as "obedient" as he had been in his youth. "A teacher's arrangement is of paramount importance. In the past, if a Grand Elder initiated a vote, a support rate of over 90% was guaranteed. But now, it's almost dropped to 65%..." Elder Sun Yun took a deep breath, expressing his disheartened state.

Master Schopenhauer (level 999, max level) wasn't too surprised by the voting results. He understood why heroes with more than 10 points opposed Elder Sun Yun. The "closed-door" policy stemmed from fear of the "Dark Eldar." If this were truly the case, what use would high-level mages be? Initially, everyone unanimously chose a second profession; becoming a "builder" wasn't actually that appealing?

Elder Schopenhauer shared Elder Morza's concerns. He didn't want the brilliance of this generation from another world to be ruined by him. But he had no good solution. "If we really follow Elder Sun Yun's method and build a thick outer defense system, the cost will definitely be enormous, so some people are reluctant..."

The other elders, the Fire Messenger, the 32nd generation of Thunder Sound, the werewolf Wolfd, and even those from "Eden" were all discussing amongst themselves. Surprisingly, the beauties from Eden unanimously voted "Agree" (a less popular choice), which was consistent with their "local customs." They were particularly war-averse, and "beauty" was becoming their sole pursuit. The beauties of the otherworldly support class (healers), and the beauties of Eden, were all outwardly beautiful, but the support class beauties had a particularly good grasp of elegance. The originators of charm magic were the female mages of "Eden," who had long been unwilling to communicate with the outside world, the battle mages and elders of the otherworld. They preferred "peace and prosperity through song and dance," constantly upgrading their charm magic; even the "Dark Elf Race" probably couldn't easily defeat them in PvP...
