At Yundar's Demar Farm, Old Demar cooked the frozen marinated T-bone steak he had prepared in advance today. The alchemy's "Frozen Water" works on the same principle as the mage's "Ice Ball" spell.

Loki led Alyssa to thank the priest Elaine. To save time, Loki used his levitation spell again. He also cast a spell on Alyssa individually. (Advanced Levitation Level 10; flight time approximately 5 hours)

Elisa had pretty good balance on her first flight. She felt it was amazing! She even wanted to be a mage.

Loki saw through her thoughts.

"It's not as simple as you think, Elisa. Without an otherworldly verification, you can't become a mage," Loki said.

"What about the priest? Does he need to be certified?" Elisa asked tentatively.

"The priesthood is a special profession; it's not something you can become just by having spiritual power. The priesthood requires inheritance. I think that's why Elaine is teaching you. If you learn well under Elaine's guidance, you might become a junior priest after passing the assessment!" Loki figured since flying was slow anyway, it would be good to give Elisa a heads-up beforehand, saving Elaine's precious time.

We finally arrived at Demar Ranch. The flight took 3 hours, but thankfully Loki had set off early in the morning.

"Ah, you must be Elisa, the one Elaine mentioned! Is your mother feeling better?" Demar greeted Elisa.

"Hello, Uncle! Thank you! She has recovered!" Elisa replied.

"These are fresh vegetables and eggs from our own garden!" Elisa handed the gift to Dema.

"You've come!" Elaine came out of her house to greet you.

"Let's have lunch first! We can chat while we eat!" she said, inviting him into the living room. Demar immediately brought out a freshly grilled steak from the kitchen!

"Loki! Let's have a drink!" Dema invited.

"Okay, Brother Dema!" Loki readily agreed.

The wine glasses were filled to the brim, but Old Demar didn't pour any for Elaine and Elisa. He was worried they would be learning basic priestly skills later.

Demar's grilled T-bone steak, steaming hot, is crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside.

"It's delicious, Uncle!" Elisa exclaimed.

"I still have some in the oven! Girls who are priests also use up a lot of mana, so eat more so you can progress faster!" Demar joked.

"Dad, they haven't even started learning yet! You're going to scare them!" Elaine complained.

"No matter how hard it is, I'm willing to learn!" Elisa said firmly.

"Kevin Garney?" Loki had never heard of him before.

"That's right! You can travel to other worlds, but we mages from other worlds can't go to your Kevin Garnier! Brother Demar, how can I get to Kevin Garnier?" Loki asked.

"Well, it's a long story... Let's have another drink. After we finish our studies, how about we go hunting over there in the mountains?" Dema suggested!

Perhaps there are things Old Demar doesn't want Elisa to know, for fear of implicating innocent people.
