Dark Eldar

3 Otherworld

The mages of this "other world" are mostly exceptionally capable; otherwise, they wouldn't be able to teleport there. (Advanced Map)

Loki's friend Edward III was obsessed with the decomposition of time, which was said to grant "immortality" to any life form!

"It's nothing more than slowing down time, and slowing it down even more. Breaking down an hour into a year, ten years, twenty years. It sounds mysterious, but what's the use? Utterly boring stuff." Loki lay on the grass, not forgetting to mock the famous archmage of the "other world".

Fortunately, Edward III was currently advising the "elder" and discussing strategies to deal with the rebels, and had no time to listen to Loki's "idle talk".

Although wild beasts occasionally roam the Yundar Grassland, it is still a rare pristine land where the biggest conflict is nothing more than survival.

"Thinking about it carefully, the biggest conflict in this other world is really nothing more than two words: survival."

"They've lived for hundreds, thousands of years, and still aren't satisfied?" Loki muttered to himself, much like the sheep that had been chewing just moments before and was now lying down talking.

"Baa~ Baa~" the white sheep bleated twice, as if it didn't understand.

"It's all relative. A sheep's lifespan is hundreds of years for a snail. Of course, there are also long-lived snails..." Loki said, then fell asleep. Perhaps he was tired from walking that morning, or perhaps it was because of the "magic bread."

Loki thought the dwarves would come after him, but when he woke up, no one came to disturb him.

The sky gradually darkened.

"Danger is imminent, we must find a place to spend the night quickly!" Loki said anxiously.

"Do you need help?" a voice asked. If one didn't know better, an ordinary person would surely think it was the voice of a savior.

Loki understood that this "telepathic transmission" was the most basic magic of this other world. The scientific explanation: "audio signal transmission." (Speaks a voice message)

"Please don't bother me!" Loki replied.

Loki didn't use telepathy; he had long forgotten about spells he considered unimportant, keeping only the "Mold of the Creator" with him. He even believed that the hammer could forge an object that would allow the dead and the living to speak.

Loki also disdained the crystal ball. He disliked carrying "fragile items."

I wonder if the other world received Loki's reply? Is Loki just luckier?

Loki looked up and gazed into the distance; he saw a farm not far away.

"That kind of house design is definitely not something dwarves could build!" Loki said with certainty.

So Loki ran down the mountain (w), he had to get there before dark.

The "New Order" left Loki feeling lost and disoriented. He was afraid of the dark...

The farmer was a kind, white-haired old man, just like those depicted in fairy tales. Coincidentally, he also had a young and beautiful daughter.

The hospitable farmer was named Demar. Upon seeing the "young man" Loki, he treated him like family, offering him freshly baked bread, hamburgers, and cheese. He also served Loki a steaming cup of rich, aromatic coffee to warm him up.

The farmer's daughter was very shy, perhaps because she hadn't seen a handsome boy in a long time. Although Loki looked a little older than he had hundreds of years ago.

You can't see it unless you look closely.

After eating and drinking to their hearts' content, Loki took out a gold bar and placed it on the table as a token of his gratitude. Money was not a big deal to Loki.

However, what puzzled Loki was: "Although this farmer is very enthusiastic, he doesn't talk much?"

Since entering, the farmer has only said three sentences. "Welcome! My name is Dema. Please make yourself at home!"

Perhaps this old man had seen through the world and understood Loki's thoughts?

The beautiful rancher's daughter, whom we must mention, hid in a corner of the living room, occasionally stealing glances at Loki. Loki felt a warmth in his heart.

Demar seemed uninterested in Loki's gold bars, not even glancing at them. Loki was completely bewildered; he couldn't figure out the farm's secrets. After all, it had all happened so suddenly.

"This wonderful thing came too suddenly! Perhaps it's still a trap. A gentle trap?" The wary Loki, for the sake of survival, had to become constantly vigilant and cautious.
