Dark Eldar
285 3.1 Updated
Countless emails and update packages were downloaded, and some players even "reinstalled" the game. The transition from version 30 to 31 of *Dark Eldar* is progressing smoothly overall. The exact details of the update's key features are still pending a formal "summary." Within the "virtual space," the AI is largely in charge. While some complaints were filed, they were all met with "appropriate compensation." Offline, people are exclaiming that this *Dark Eldar* update might contain a plethora of Easter eggs! In fact, the more "mysterious" the update, the longer the queues outside. Online players are reluctant to log off, as doing so would mean rejoining the queue. (VIP4, VIP5, and VIP6 players skip the queue.)
Coastal Swamp (171355), a normal leveling map, medium difficulty. The quirky Rona (female; rogue, level 45), along with her guild leaders, were formerly part of the "Rebels" 17th Legion. They've been doing quite well leveling in the Coastal Swamp lately.
During the day, Rona often went out on her own to kill monsters like crazy. Some of the others teamed up, while lower-level players would secretly follow "Miss Rona" to pick up unwanted junk equipment (white eco-friendly gear, animal teeth, bones, etc.). Rona generally didn't pity them, and she rejected almost all of the guild's team invitations.
Rona now has a complete set of the "Shadowblade Set": Shadowblade Shoulderpads, Shadowblade Helmet, and Shadowblade Legplates. She's only missing the Shadowblade Armor and Shadowblade Gauntlets. The set bonus is already showing; every three hits has a chance to trigger 1 second of stealth. In levels below 50, it's a waste not to use this kind of rogue gear for bounty hunting...
Back in the main city of Leiyin, Loki sold Rona the blue Shadow Blade Shoulderpads (a temple drop). So, Rona and Loki had a brief encounter. Rona had a strong impression of Loki, but Loki had probably long forgotten her. Since obtaining the artifact "Hammer of the Creator," his concern for romantic relationships has diminished considerably. At least before, he was still infatuated with "Catherine," a fact evident in the "Forgetful Pavilion BOSS Trial." Perhaps Loki is gradually losing himself, or perhaps he has become more resolute in his will? (Note: In all the known and unknown storylines, even the "Order" sometimes struggles to fathom the true willpower of humanity. Sometimes, just when they think they fully understand humanity, a "bug" always appears. For this reason, Order has a super AI that continues to strive to unravel the mystery. When the CPU is idle, the AI is perfectly content and no longer tries anything new, fearing it might be restricted by a certain "XXX dead program." "XXX dead program"... that is, "an endless infinite loop!" A mystery that no one can crack, even using all the physical memory of the "multiverses"... This topic will be omitted.)
The 17th Legion's leader, the barbarian "Ariza," is currently level 57. Since his "defeat," he has gradually lost interest in "gold farming groups," despite his past prowess. Faced with various pressures, he chose to "start anew." It's important to note that he didn't choose the human race, but rather a regular "elite barbarian king" (an elite monster). Due to his lower starting point, he will encounter more bottlenecks later on, unlike the "rare barbarian king," who is currently level 66 and is doing well in the level 2 map, Gludin Castle. However, his crippled leg hinders his combat power. (Analysis: The rare barbarian king's crippled leg in the level 2 map, Gludin Castle, will likely be repaired later by a high-level priest or even a more powerful healer.)
The quirky and clever Rona is among the fastest and most efficient jungle monster hunters in the 17th Legion. After rigorous training, her willpower and character are vastly different from previous versions. The problem of unrequited love has long been solved by Rona. On the surface, in the swampy jungle, the slender "heroine" clad in the Shadow Blade set has forgotten "Benjamin VI." In truth, she has truly forgotten that "outstanding boy" from another world.
Compared to Edward and the even more powerful Loki, Benjamin VI from another world is nothing. At least in terms of combat strength, Benjamin VI is no match for Loki.
In the sacred otherworld (511381), Benjamin VI, in a meditative state, occasionally recalls his amusing "golden tour" trip. At the advanced magic academy, there are countless girls prettier and more feminine than Lorna... But for some reason? Benjamin sometimes really does think of the quirky Lorna? Perhaps it's due to "first impressions"... (Note: The multiple worlds generally replicate various human thought patterns from the "real world," including the concept of "first impressions." This isn't simply a matter of what you see first being "unforgettable." When Order makes various in-depth recreations, the setting of the "reference point" and its random fine-tuning are determined by the "first generation." Later versions cannot make excessive changes; current permissions are mostly limited to small-scale adjustments. Many models, such as "frost magic" and "lightning magic," cannot be deleted or modified by Order even in later versions. The "chanting" casting animation, classic casting rhythm, and cool concentration aura are details that the later Order and "core layers" greatly admire their "ancestors"... namely, the "AI ancestors" such as "486," "586," and "386.")
