Dark Eldar

25 Mysterious Island

Because of the Barbarian King's "caution," he walked without making much noise. His right toes touched the ground first, while his golden cane pressed lightly on his left. The Barbarian King was large; one step he took was equivalent to five or six steps for most people. His movements were quite comical.

The rebel leader, Ludar, was well aware of the Dark Messengers' "bureaucratic style." Ludar not only walked with a light step, but also followed closely behind Dark's shadow, always maintaining a distance of 1 meter, neither too close nor too far.

The two bounty hunters, like the alluring woman, entered a "semi-invisible" state. (The invisibility techniques of assassins and thieves are "disguise" and cannot grant complete invisibility.)

The sun rose in the east and set in the west; the day was almost over. Dark, the Dark Messenger, walked along the predetermined route, choosing not to "fly." Dark had his reasons; he didn't want to expend any mana, fearing a sudden attack from Loki! After all, he had recently erased a small portion of Loki's memories...

"Take a rest, my lord. Look, it's getting dark," Ludar said softly.

"Alright, alright. Rest where you are, watch out for ambushes. Ludar, send those two assassins to scout ahead! In the dark, assassins have better night vision than those idiots," Dark ordered.

"Yes, sir!"

Soon, night fell. Dark, the messenger of darkness, also vanished into the darkness.

Only the Barbarian King, the semi-invisible Enchantress, the Slayer, and the rebel leader Ludar remained.

"Hurry up and eat!"

As the leader, Ludar was truly deserving. His magic backpack was very well prepared.

"Chicken leg, hamburger, sandwich, vegetable juice, and a bottle of salad dressing."

Of course, there was also a small bottle of wine, but it wasn't prepared for the barbarian king; it was for Ludal's own enjoyment.

Dark, the messenger of darkness, hates seeing humans eat, and he doesn't even like drinking alcohol. If it's true that dark creatures can drink, his predecessors were all quite heavy drinkers. (Dark creatures replenish their energy with "magic crystals").

The barbarian king probably wasn't in the mood for drinking either; he was busy gnawing on the largest chicken leg (turkey leg). He wasn't being polite, swallowing it down in big mouthfuls, looking quite pleased with it.

The alluring woman ate her sandwich shyly; she didn't particularly like meat.

After Dark altered the Slayer's attributes, it needs to consume more food to replenish some of its "damage".

Two hours later, the assassin returned from scouting and ate the little food left. Assassins typically don't eat much.

Young Benjamin VI was awestruck by the magnificent sight before him when he entered the Void Fortress!

The houses stand in neat rows. The number of "vagrants" living here is astonishing. It's slightly different from what you see in the mirror.

"Can't crystal balls be reliable either?" Benjamin wondered.

Benjamin continued on, exploring the streets.

Loki's spirit followed Benjamin, not wanting to miss the young wizard's first adventure.

"Some things leave the deepest impression the first time, like the first mistake you make, the first transformation, the first kill..." Loki's soul is very unstable. Sometimes he thinks about the darker side.

The damage caused to Loki by the "killing" was too great. In the early days, Loki took many detours in order to obtain the so-called precious "materials," and he did not want Benjamin to repeat the same mistakes.

Loki knew perfectly well: "If I tell Benjamin directly, the young man certainly won't accept it humbly."

"Let's take it slow then!" Seeing that Benjamin didn't seem to have any major concerns, Loki went to "Mysterious Island" (the habitat of the Elf Elders).
