Dark Eldar

24 The Slayer's Wish

Dark, the messenger of darkness, led the rebel leader Ludar and his five henchmen (including one wounded).

The Barbarian King's staff was a gift from Luddar. To express his remorse and regret, Luddar specially commissioned the fortress's best blacksmith (intermediate blacksmith) to forge this "Golden Staff." (Purple level 10, not bound)

The materials for forging the Golden Cane are very simple: pure gold, gold bars, or gold jewelry. This type of "purple" equipment is purely for "showing off" and "taunting," meaning that Barbarian King has invisibly gained an active "taunting" skill.

The Wildlands weren't easy to find on the map. If Dark hadn't done his research beforehand, he would have definitely gotten lost...

Yundar, who had no protective barrier, has finally been found.

The grasslands of Yundar were beautiful. But as soon as the messenger of darkness arrived, the once bright sky was instantly obscured by dark clouds. The grass and wildflowers at Dak's feet withered and died.

The cattle, sheep, camels, giraffes, rhinoceroses, and other creatures seemed terrified by their natural enemies! They all ran around aimlessly. Some even collided with each other! People and horses were thrown about. The elephants, however, seemed unfazed, continuing to leisurely chew their fodder with their trunks.

Dark Knight had no time to appreciate the beauty of the grasslands. Rudar and the Enchantress seemed to possess some artistic sensibilities; they both watched the animals' strange reactions with curiosity.

"Don't be careless! Something's not right here!" Dark said coldly. He was afraid this was a surprise Loki had prepared for him.

Loki had no time to bother with Dark and Rudal! In Loki's eyes, the Dark Messenger and Rudal were both very easy to "deal with." Because previous Dark Messengers had all been "completely defeated" by Loki.

The limping barbarian king suddenly said, "This place is very similar to my barbarian homeland, except there are no elephants and sheep."

"Aman, shut up!" the rebel leader Ludar kindly reminded him.

"Yes, my lord! I'll only say what I just said." The barbarian king turned his head away and said no more. In fact, a very big change had already occurred in his heart. Only the barbarian king himself knew it.

Upon hearing Dark's warning, the two bounty hunters immediately drew their daggers and short swords. (Purple, Crow's Blade Level 2; Aurora Blade Level 1)

Among low-level assassins, possessing a purple weapon is already quite rare!

Dark glanced at them out of the corner of his eye. He wanted to dismantle their weapons into "purple iron essence" to make an exquisite "belt buckle" as a birthday gift for "Commander Krut" (one of the Eight Dark Commanders, known to very few).

The alluring woman walked at the very back of the group; her purple dress could actually change color! At this moment, it had turned green, blending into the vast sea of grass, in a state of "semi-invisibility."

The slayer walked with a hopping gait, seemingly still trying to compensate for his "agility" attribute.

"Stop jumping, Slayer! Your footsteps are too noisy." Dark, who always went his own way, seemed not to be used to "teaming up".

"Yes, sir!" The slayer stopped jumping and started walking forward step by step.

"It's still too loud!" Dark complained!

"Walking like that will attract Loki's attention! Can you walk a little lighter?" Dark asked impatiently.

"My lord, I also wish to leave quietly, but my lord! My agility is 0," the slayer explained.

"Fine! Fine! You useless lot!" With that, Dark unleashed "Hand of Darkness" (High-level Dark Magic) towards the Slayer! "Intervention" altered the Slayer's initial attributes. "With all other attributes unchanged, Agility has been increased to 5!" (The total attributes of a rare elite Slayer are 10).

The slayer felt reborn! He immediately leaped into the air! Then he knelt down to thank the Dark Messenger, Dark!

Dark said coldly and contemptuously, "Don't thank me. For a low-level elite like you, a little change might make you happier. Just stop making such a fuss!"

Upon hearing this, the Barbarian King was afraid that his agility would also be increased, as he didn't want any agility attribute.

So the barbarian king secretly crouched down and placed some dry grass under his "golden staff."
